  • The Jeep Gladiator Build continues on! With a bunch of new mods and upgrades. As you can tell, the build is going in a cool direction, and I’m excited for you guys to see what I have planned!
    Diamondback Bedcover: diamondbackcov...
    Iron Rock Offroad 2” spacer lift kit: www.ironrockof...
    IceCo JP40 Fridge: amzn.to/3a0BdFl
    12V Switch panel: amzn.to/2R7a7Uq
    Rough Country Fairlead Hook: amzn.to/35IUCY6
    Molded Floor Plugs with drain: amzn.to/2NfNvQw
    Kore sunglasses: www.koreessent...
    Molle Platform Solutions panels: www.molle-plat...
    In this video, I go over all of the upgrades I’ve done over the past few weeks.
    They include; A new 2” spacer lift from Iron Rock Offroad. This was an affordable and easy way to give the JT a little more lift while still keeping a good ride. It pairs with the 37” Yokohama XATs perfectly!
    We also installed a new Diamondback Bed cover, fully waterproof, lockable, and we now have the ability to mount things on top! It’s going to come into play in future videos and you’ll see how!
    The Iceco cooler is also a new addition, I’m excited to see how well it works as this is my first time using an electric cooler/fridge.
    I have a lot of other cool things coming up, thanks for watching!

    @16:28 you meant, "wary" (cautious). "Weary" means tired.
    Thanks for the walk-through. It's a nice rig! I'm considering a Gladiator myself. Internal storage in my GX 460 gets tight on road trips with my wife and our twin daughters (even if I could convince Mrs.-Me not to overpack). The Diamondback HD is on my modest list of mods, as it offers security, a photographic platform (Ansel Admas built a platform on the roof of his station wagon), and a way to haul stuff like hay bales even without dismounting the cover.

    • @JKGearandGadgets
      @JKGearandGadgets  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      3.ZERO.2 the rears no, the fronts could use longer links. If it’s a rubi, you can get away without them. If it’s a sport or overland, a good set of adjustable disconnects would be best

    • @JKGearandGadgets
      @JKGearandGadgets  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I did a 2.5 inch suspension lift front that included springs and shocks for the front and 1 inch rear with only shocks for the rear, and it leveled the truck. But then when I added an off road bumper to the front it made a slight rake again in the front. Not as dramatic as factory but still there. So now when I haul my band trailer, which isn't that heavy, I have a level truck again. Didn't realize that front bumper would be so dang heavy.

    I love the cover! I'm waiting for the the diesel engine before getting my wife the Gladiator. The mods you have done are great and right up my alley. Stop taking all the great ideas so I don't have a clone.
    Keep the videos coming

      I’m excited to see the diesel, I think it will be a good choice, good mpg and good torque

    If you use JScan or a Tazer you can go into the settings and have the bed outlet on constantly with out having to have ign. On . Gotta say I agree with yas on the bed racks , I'm not real sure if I like any enough to install one . Also I am extremely surprised you didn't get the bed spray liner ! I really enjoy it !!! YET ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO ....

    Hey man. I’m looking at fridges myself. According to Amazon yours is 18” tall do you know how much clearance you have remaining under the diamondback Cover? The IceCo VL60 looks like it fits my needs a bit better but I just nought a diamondback cover. VL60 is listed at 18.7”
