      They made several classic episodes. My favorite episode is The Ghost of a Chantz. Buddy acting scared is the highlight of this episode. LoL. Another great episode, It May Look Like a Walnut. Danny Thomas guest stars as Kolak from the planet Twilo. I love it because you couldn't tell it was all a nightmare until the end when they woke up. LoL. I'll comment some more later with more of my favorite episodes.

    Now imagine your government doing this to citizens in their own homes and over telecommunication networks, taking that information with soundbites and providing it to others, in or out of context, to get a person's wife, family, friends, neighbors, and virtually anyone to turn on a political target to isolate that person and destroy that person's social network, rendering inoperable love and support that the target would otherwise be given when the arm of the state decides to bare down on them.

I think it's more common now to wear pajamas in public. As I said on Facebook a couple of years ago I was in New Orleans and saw a bunch of naked people in a parade so pajamas would have looked good right about then. One instance where dressing up didn't work was with my cousin. His mom and grandmother put him in suits and ties and a hat to go to school. The kids made fun of him. He was glad when my mom bought him t-shirts and blue jeans.

    • @leecooper4213
      @leecooper4213 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      suzycreamcheesez: Sectionals were HUGELY popular for several centuries....60's, 70's & even 80's. In fact, they're still pretty popular (2018). But it makes sense that both of these families have similar sectionals due to Laura & Millie having SURELY shopped & choose furniture together. If you recall, they bought their houses at the exact same time - they had been neighbors & became friends when both were newlyweds living in tiny apartments in the same apartment building....THEN Millie would go w/ Laura on house-shopping trips, as friends do. The episode telling all about how they ended up buying houses directly next to each other is HILARIOUS (it wasn't planned-happened at the last minute).
      Getting dressed to hang out w/ friends is a show of respect - respect for yourself & also towards the people that are going to be seeing you.
      Even during the 80's, I would often get dressed up (as if I were going out), even when staying at home by myself for the night. This is a good way to fend off depression, as well. It's a common remedy for people that live alone - to get dressed up & act as if you ARE going somewhere, pour yourself a drink in your good glass goblets, set your table w/ placemats & silverware (even when eating alone). It does something to your psyche, makes you feel more like a human (rather than eating off of paper plates & drinking straight from the bottle while lying around in your jammies). After all, YOU deserve to look & smell good just for your own self...YOU deserve to eat well & drink well, even when eating or drinking alone. So get yourself dressed up, set a nice table, pour yourself a nice drink in a real glass, turn up some good music & enjoy a good meal....It really does pick up your spirit - you DESERVE it! Trust me - try it some time, it really DOES make you feel better! ;-)
