The manufacture date is on a label on camper. The tires are usually one year older than year the trailer is built, because they are installed when the frame is built and they usually sit before going to the trailer upfitter. 5 years is old but not many travel trailers use off road tires and these trailers have a lot of bad reviews so probably no demand. Completely different subject, but a 2025 say Tiffin motorhome or any manufacturer is 95% of the time built on a 2024 chassis and it blows people's mind when they hear that. The coach is titled as a 25 but when I was aGeneral Manager for an RV dealership, the dmv would sometimes screw up and title it based on the chassis year and cause major problems that can be straightened out but it's a pain
Hi Liz. As you know I owned a HQ 19 Black Series for two years. Black Series company is so bad, that the dealer I bought it from in UT, dropped them. They were the biggest dealer of Black Series camper in the US. The dealer said they were spending too much time fixing broken issues BEFORE they could deliver the units. Kudos to Blue Compass for stepping to the plate and taking care of them. Keep the good fight going Liz. Safe travels.
Spot on, black series is a joke, numerous people with spindle issues. And you’re at the mercy of this company for parts as they are specific to this trailer. Unfortunately people expecting RV dealers to follow some sort of ethics
Im guessing you're talking about ROA Off-Road in Utah. In the beginning, Black Series was imported from Australia and was an excellent camper, but then a Chinese guy bought the manufacturing rights and moved production to China. After that, the quality went to hell, so ROA dropped them. I really wanted a Black Series, but then the quality disappeared. ROA still specializes in other Australian built off-road campers.
That’s really interesting because my husband and I are full-timers and have traveled all across the US several times and I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a Black Series camper. So I’m assuming they were a limited line with way too many problems!
You have convinced me that I will never buy an RV until the industry gets their act together and produces a quality product for the expensive price you pay.
The manufacturer and dealer both invited this intense scrutiny - as a result many future buyers will be very aware. Kudos to Blue Compass for dong whats right! Great job Liz!
I used to own the largest RV dealerships in the Midwest... aren't allowed to inspect till sold? That is a total lie... we inspected EVERY unit upon receipt before put on the sales lot.
exactly. Nonsense. "not allowed to inspect"? Sounds like a directive from ownership/GM to prevent issues from being discovered. No other reason such a rule would exist, if it actually does.
So glad you’re doing this Liz. Accountability in the RV industry has been missing for a long time. If manufacturers would build with quality and the right way, the first time, none of this would be necessary.
@@smore7633 More than likely the camper was used for parts while it sat on the lot. Chinese made parts can take weeks, and customers were getting antsy.
Not necessarily. I would guess extremely low quality materials explaining the rust, poor quality control explaining the paint defects and accessory issues, and container tires explaining the old DOT tires and use of AT truck tires on a trailer (huge no-no, no legit tire manufacturer would be okay with it). The whole thing stinks of cash grab to capitalize on the adventure veneer market craze.
Liz, I admire your videos. Unfortunately, after seeing so many of them (and the issues), I cannot envision ever purchasing an RV. With much respect, you are single-handedly changing the RV industry.
I’m on my 3rd one with little to no issue… first 2 is toy hauler from forest River no issue til later ( only issue was rubber seal starting to crack) but it was when I’m ready to trade it in, both purchased brand new and 2nd one I took cross country to see most national park in lower 48. I now have Winnebago class A gently used 2022 when I purchased some issue w generator that I fixed myself. If you’re not handy I wouldn’t recommend buying an rv at all even if it has warranty sometimes it will stay at dealer months at a time thus ur toy is unusable during that fix time. Not sure if I’m just lucky but I feel blessed I guess.
Aloha Liz, just bought a 2019 class C Rv. Paid for an RV inspection and they caught the water pump leak and several roof and exterior gaps in sealant and some other minor things they’ll fix. The peace of mind of the inspection is priceless as I begin my journey.
Holy crap it never even made it off the lot!!! There are so many issues here it would take pages and pages to review them all. The big overriding issue is the manufacture and the dealership have zero values. Thanks again Miss Liz for helping out this great couple.
@@LizAmazing That unit has storm damage there should be no rust or missing parts whatsoever. Flat out refuse it. They will take it back and replace it.
The quality of today's RV's keeps me busy as an inspector. I am glad to see consumers are beginning to understand how valuable an inspection really is. I am very glad to hear Blue Compass is doing a buyback. Maybe one day RV's will be such high quality that my services are no longer needed. I'd be okay with that!
Retired lawyer here: if these people haven't left the property of the dealer...they DO NOT LEGALLY OWN IT. They can cancel the purchase contract, and request any monies advanced. They may have to hire an attorney but is is a straight forward business 101 case.
I had signed all of the papers for a new car, made the down payment, and then left it at the dealership to get the prep finished. Later that night after more thought I changed my mind about the purchase. I called them and informed them that and they told me that had I driven the car off the lot I would not had been able to cancel the contract. A couple of days later we were able to come to an agreement on a different car that better fit my needs.
@freethinker3279 That's because to let you drive off, you have to have temporary plates which means they submitted the bill of sale to the state to register you as the owner. In your case that hadn't been done yet but it could have been regardless if you had taken the car that day or not.
Amazing work again Liz! When all the problems showed up at the dealership, they should have immediately stepped up and given them another camper on the lot, or ordered them a complete brand new one of the model they wanted! You don't sell damaged goods that need to be repaired as brand new!
Good job Blue Compass for buying this trailer back--that was the right thing to do! The real question is why would Blue Compass let the Tyler Texas location keep moving forward with their name knowing how the dealership is acting and questionable business practices? I would think they would take steps to disassociate themselves with this location. Liz, I am glad you are making all of these stories known.
In 2020, I paid in full for three brand-new class B vehicles, all garbage: two Mercedes chassis and one Dodge. I was very lucky to be able to sell them right away. I ended up buying a used Roadtrek 2014. We have had this van for two years, and there has never been a single issue. We are extremely happy with it.
As a 7-year mobile RV tech we appreciate your service and information in helping these clients before purchase. We need more transparency in this industry and I would be dealing with a lot more comfortable RV life.
Wow- warms my heart that the Execs responded so fast and so decisively. Hooray for the buy back! Congratulations! God speed and wishing you two many more trips to enjoy and look forward to!
Great job, again Liz!!! I think each RV dealership should hire an independent well trained and certified inspector to inspect each and every RV when it arrives and of it doesn't pass the inspection send it back to the manufacturer at the manufacturer's expense.
Problem is, that's not in the dealer's best interests. *The dealer wants to sell RV's.* Discovering problems before the sale hinders that process. He wants to make the sale and collect the money. *_Then,_* if problems are discovered, they can be addressed...but not before the vehicle is sold!
@@Milesco Reputable dealerships should not want to sell poor quality and unsafe RVs to anyone. If they are only in it for the money and don't care about their customers, they should not be in the business.
Dealerships need to be held responsible for the products that they are selling! If i went to an appliance store and bought, say, a GE fridge and it ended up not working, the appliance store would have to take it back and give me a working one...I wouldn't be sent to GE to have it fixed while I waited months!! I just don't understand why this industry is allowed to get away with this! Thank you Liz for what you do!!
I hear some of these stories and shudder but I guess we got lucky because in May for the first time owning a RV we bought a Grey Wolf 29QB and haven't had any problems whatsoever and are happy as can be and it fits our needs perfectly. We bought off a small family owned RV dealership instead of some big impersonal dealer and they have been wonderful. Maybe we'll upgrade in a few years. Once I learn more about RV's that is.
Just as bad RV manufacturers and dealers should be named & shamed, so good dealers should be identified and praised! So where did you get your RV from?
GREAT JOB LIZ !!! Bottom line a dealer should inspect the outside including the roof and bottom, service, or repair all safety items. Then make a list of defective items. They should be completed before the unit can be sold. Once the unit is sold then the prep and check should be done. Stove, fridge, plumbing, lighting (trailer lights are a safety item) flooring, a/c and furnace, battery system and solar if installed. We purchased a 35' new trailer in 2025. On our 2nd trip to the east coast we lost 6 tires, all 4 on the trailer and the spare plus 1 additional tire purchased on on first day out. On the 3rd day we found a Princess Auto and they sold me 4 tires so we could complete out trip. We found the tires did not match the weight rating required for the trailer. We thought everything was good until or next outing to Arizona when we lost our rear axel on a interstate. Police, DOT everyone was involved in closing the road and getting off the highway. We took the unit to a one man shop north west of Waco. He raised the trailer on a lift and the front axel dropped on the passenger side and the springs had all broken. 2 year old trailer so he called Lippert with the VIN and "that's not the correct axels under that unit. They are supposed to be 5k not 3500lb's. We replaced the axels with 4500lb units as they would fit in the mounts. 3 weeks later I returned to Texas from Ontario Canada. What did Kingsport pay... $0 Did they care NO. Will I ever buy a trailer made by them NO. We replaced that unit with a 42" 5th wheel, we ended up picking a trailer that had items we liked and others that were better on a different trailer. It all ended up on what dealer would stand behind the product. DeeJay trailers in Havelock Ontario is whom we went with. Had some big issues but his team fixed it. DO YOU TRUST THE DEALER WITH POSSIBLY YOUR 2ND OR 3RD LARGEST PURCHASE? I wish you were doing your videos back then as I would have called you. Thank you for helping people it's a shame that the manufactures and dealers can't get it right enough.
How on earth do these manufacturers keep building crap, and even worse the dealers stay in business. Liz, we sure hope they get out of this junk. Liz, Thank you so much
I have a Black Series HQ17. Fortunately I bought it used 1 year and saved 30k. It needed about 5k worth of upgrades. The PO replaced the crap Chinese tires already and I ended up replacing some electrical, solar panels, shocks, bearings and hitch and now it’s an awesome camper. It’s a shame they cut so many corners on these things during Covid.
Congratulations on getting the buyback! Biggest change I'd make -- that the dealer has to honor the warranty. No. 1, ahead of the manufacturer. Any company, that requires that its dealers also have real skin in the game, will have much better sales. And better-trained dealer mechanics. And 48-hour spare parts availability. Gee, sounds like Chevy or Toyota, doesn't it? Liz, without changing the law, is there any way to force the dealers to stand behind the products they sell? Thanks, Jon Donahue in Tombstone, AZ
OK Liz, after this one I had to leave a comment. I just purchased a new 2024 Alliance Valor 21T15 from Blue Compass RV in Avondale, AZ. What a nightmare this has been. Drove it 26 miles home and the 40" TV had ripped out and was on the floor. It had a water leak in the bathroom that was supposed to be fixed. it wasn't. One of the 110 sockets pushed thru the first time I plugged something in. Whoever installed it used a hole saw that was bigger than the socket. The left rear power jack had one bolt in it and was hanging. Another 1/2 inch of thread and it would have landed on the pavement. Big sticker in the window saying it had the upgraded suspension with CRE3000. It doesn't. Supposed to have USB ports through out. It doesn't. Dealer service won't answer my calls and won't call me back. Alliance doesn't respond to emails and when I call the service number they say to send an email. This was supposed to be a premium RV. Alliance says there mission is simple......Do the right thing. I have to laugh. It's all smoke and mirrors...........
Ten years ago I towed new travel trailers to Camping World dealers around the United States. I was trained to do a walk around inspection before leaving the yard in Elkhart, Indiana and Pendleton, Oregon... basically for safety and some cosmetics; of the dozen I pulled only one had shoddy work so obvious that even the dealer in California didn't want it. The post trip inspections were primarily focused on any damage that might have occurred during transit. After that it seemed any additional inspections were at the dealers discretion. I definitely would recommend any purchase new or old be performed by an off the premises inspector. Liz you are amazing.
Hi lady...good job on the buy back...with all these problems...makes you wonder if this unit wasn't a rental and older than they say...anyway...don't ever buy without seeing it first....and of course..inspection...stay safe...J&A2ofus
First: Sounds like the dealer was robbing the unit for parts to sell another trailer. Second: Possible delivery or lot damage. Third: This trailer was purchased years ago, possibly from some company who went under in 2019. Fourth: New tires should have been installed, prior to selling as a 2024. Fifth: Possibility this was used to demonstrate at a RV show. Wish we got to see more of the bent frame.
Hi Liz, I love your videos. I read the comments and just like on videos about Boeing and other train wreck companies some people do not know how a quality system works. They are convinced every issue is due to a lack of attention to detail or doublechecking work. When an issue arises it is human nature to just blame someone, however the vast majority of the time the true cause lies elsewhere. It takes hard work and an open mind to perform a true RCA and you need to come with your "wagon of whys". I love what you do and you certainly get what I am saying, I would suggest your viewers look into Deming and other sources if they want to learn more about quality, it certainly helped in my 40 year career. Thanks for what you do, you are incredibly dedicated.
Good for you , Liz, for what you do for fellow RV's. My Discovery purchase a long time ago went pretty well, comparatively. But my best friend just bought a year old but new Tiffin Phaeton from General RV in Draper Ut. Overall it is a very good looking coach. But it would be easier to say what works than to list what doesn't. At the very least it has to go back to the factory in Alabama for a roof crack. The dealer is the worst, it is the buyers problem to have the warranty work performed by all of the various manufacturers on the coach. Sadly it is going to be the dealer that will kill the manufacturers, the industry needs more oversight. But make no mistake stay away from General RV Draper Utah, they've made the local news due to their fraudulent practices.
I would like to say something positive about Blue Compass (since bashing RV Dealers is easy to do, but praise is usually reserved); we purchased an Airstream from Blue Compass in Iowa. They were very thorough with their inspections and were awesome to us - we have a marvelous trailer and couldn't have been happier with sales and especially service. There are some great folks out there eager to make their customer happy.
My concern is if Blue Compass who owns the dealership, knew of the issues with the dealership, then why did they not step up to resolve the issues at that dealership years ago before this couple even considered buying a camper from them? Sounds more like a PR Dance and Pony Show after the facts.
Thank You Liz . We listened to you and your recommended inspectors before we purchased our 2019 Coachmen Freelander. We still had a poor experience with our dealer “but” called them on most issues that we picked up on. Could not believe they wanted to charge us $2500 to do a walk around. Never have I had to pay for a walk around. Anyway thanks for the heads up on “buyer beware”.
The irony of course is that these "Black Series" are billed as being built tougher and stronger than the typical travel trailer, and yet I've heard nothing but bad things about the "Black Series" trailers. Blue Compass purchased one of our longtime family owned RV dealers here in Oklahoma. I'm glad I didn't buy from them.
I'm going to plug a dealership. Now mind you, I have never bought an Rv from this particular place, but I see where Bish's is offering a 3 day return policy which will refund your money or exchange your RV no matter what. This is the reason I would probably buy from them in the future even if they're several hours from my home at this time. A lot of people get buyer's remorse, and this would be fantastic! I wish all dealers would do this.
Josh said in one of his videos in so many words that the RV’s weren’t that bad and the customers could just fix things that were wrong. I commented back that to pass crap onto customers was ridiculous when they paid a lot of money and didn’t get what they thought they were paying for. He reported me for hate speech & I was in TH-cam jail for 24 hours!!
We've had our camper 19 months. Bought it brand new...It has cost us over $3,000 to fix! Most of the expenses have come from the 12V fridge. It stopped working when the camper was 3 months old. They replaced it...some 3 months later. It was broken again 7 months later...we were told "too bad". We are going to have to replace the fridge...meanwhile we've lost precious room b/c we have a 4 cu smaller fridge and a tiny fridge.
@@skilltreed540 They don’t ever want to make it right after they get your money, they are some disgusting people, I hope they treat their families better than they treat their customers.
I watch videos like this and really appreciate my 19 year old D.P.! On some trips RV's seem like a big rolling box of problems, but in all fairness they are big complicated machines and things that can go wrong eventually will. The build quality on my Winnebago Journey is pretty good as is the quality of the Freightliner chassis, and I'm pretty handy and prefer to do house repairs and upgrades, and some of the chassis maintenance myself so I know the quality of the work and materials used (also I happen to be somewhat frugal). Prior to making our purchase, my wife and I looked at new and used RVs for over a year. We were appalled and the build quality of new RVs, particularly lower end motorhomes and pretty much all of the trailers we looked at (we did not look at Airstream trailers, high quality, but lots of $$$). We were looking at a 5th wheel toy hauler (brand new) and ran into a couple that said they had the same model and brought it back to the dealer with a broken frame! I have owned 3 motorhomes and made mistakes with all of them, having them inspected is a great idea. I did some research on mine, not enough though, and was not aware of the potential roof issues on my coach. I inspected the roof but was unaware of what to look for and what questions to ask regarding the roof on this particular coach. The roof blew off on our second outing! I replaced the roof with a different roof system, am still ok with the amount of money I have in it, and now have a maintenance free roof with a lifetime transferrable warranty from a nationwide company. I don't mind fixing little things on an older coach that I got for a great price, I would be furious doing this on a new RV, and given the length of time dealers take for everything the loss of use would be unacceptable.
I do it when I buy a used car, but would never think to check tires on a new car. I'd bet this trailer was truly a 2019, with a phony title! I've heard of folks rolling back odometer mileage... but faking a title? Wow! Even better!
Liz, I was seriously thinking of buying an RV, but after seeing so many nightmare scenarios with how these folks get treated, I'm not going anywhere near an RV. I felt the pain of this veteran when his DV license plates were thrown out. Thank you for what you do, Liz. Maybe I'll build my own rig. At least I will know what is going into it.
Wow! All of these issues and you STILL decided to NOT get a PROFFESSIONAL INSPECTOR?! I would have demanded a refund immediately and gone somewhere else, actually I wouldn't buy one. Since you never took possession I would think you could get a full refund pretty easy but.............then again. When are people going to learn?!...................YOU GUY'S GOT LUCKY THANKFUL TO LIZ AMAZING!!!
They explained in the video that they didn't realize an independent professional inspection was even a thing. They'd purchased seven campers previously with no issues. By the time they realized there were issues it was too late as they'd already purchased it. Thanks for watching, Richard!
I agree with many of the other non owners and that is I will no longer consider buying an RV. Same with boats. The last two ‘new’ boats I purchased were previously owned and the dealers had bought them back and resold. The title work had not been completed yet if you were wondering how. Thanks Liz for your work and policing the industry.

It’s absolutely mind boggling that there is not at this point
Liz, please keep your foot on the gas, you are a very valuable asset to any RV owner, thank you for all you do! 🇺🇸
Awww, thanks so much! I sure appreciate your support. Thanks for watching!
The fact that they dropped 50k+ on this camper without a thorough inspection is mind blowing. They're lucky Liz got their money back.
Given the tyre date, rust, spider webs, peeling paint, I gunna say this is a 2019 camper.
It very well could have been this age
Agreed that that is possible. The plated build date says January 2024, but still.
I thought the same thing. It's an old camper that sat for quite some time.
Looks like a salesman used it for personal usage for awhile, then switched tires off another one to get a free take
Not surprising. Look at where these units are made!
I guess between Blue Compass and Black Series, the poor customers were left black and blue! 😰🤕🤒
Brinkley
You will never buy and RV... and that's not a bad thing. Save yourself tons of cash and headaches.
The manufacturer and dealer both invited this intense scrutiny - as a result many future buyers will be very aware. Kudos to Blue Compass for dong whats right! Great job Liz!
I'm glad the corporate folks did the right thing, but I sure wouldn't buy anything from the Tyler, Texas location. 🚫
Tom Raper."Truck Caps $99! Exit 149a!" :)
@@rodbirch5876 Yeah, there's no such rule...it's just a plain old flat-out *lie.*
Raper RVs. What an appropriate name.
You may be the most honest guy in the world but I would never trust a dealers inspection. Bring your "Uncle Joe" with you to inspect.
So glad you’re doing this Liz. Accountability in the RV industry has been missing for a long time. If manufacturers would build with quality and the right way, the first time, none of this would be necessary.
That camper was built-in 2019 I bet. It has been sitting in China they cleaned it and said it was a 2024 model and sent to the US.
That could be. Thanks for watching, Steve!
@@smore7633 More than likely the camper was used for parts while it sat on the lot.
Chinese made parts can take weeks, and customers were getting antsy.
Probably rebadge the thing every year it sits on the lot, didn’t sell 2023, just slap a new badge on 2024
Not necessarily.
Bottom line you did not do your research in my opinion.
Liz, I admire your videos. Unfortunately, after seeing so many of them (and the issues), I cannot envision ever purchasing an RV. With much respect, you are single-handedly changing the RV industry.
Liz you may love RVs but watching these repeated videos there is not any way in hell I would buy any RV
Well when you think of the thousands built and sold every year you are gonna have a dud or three
There are some good ones, for example the fiberglass ones. And also ones built by small independent companies. Thanks for watching and stay tuned.
@@LizAmazingyes, fiberglass ones. Lazy Daze as well.

I know it. So crazy that they made two payments on an RV they didn't even get to bring home. Thanks for watching.

Where on earth did come up with that crap?
Exactly. They never took possession.
@@notconvincedgranny6573 Nonsense
China? No way to begin with. No 3rd party inspection? No way. You guys were lucky getting Liz Amazing to help you get a buyback.
Come on man, these RV’s fit in a shipping container, smooth sailing.😂😂😂😂😂
Agreed. Very fortunate and lots of lessons learned here. Thank you for the free education.
Another win for Liz. The moniker "Amazing" is well earned !!!!!
All the rust underneath on the frame and rusty brakes sounds like it was in a flood.
Yeah, it was a little concerning for sure.
Yes. Maybe this was the wake up call Blue Compass corporate needed to step in and demand more from the Tyler location. Thanks for watching, Sarah!
Kudos to Blue for the buy back. That was the right thing to do. Ms. Liz thanks for helping them out.
As a 7-year mobile RV tech we appreciate your service and information in helping these clients before purchase. We need more transparency in this industry and I would be dealing with a lot more comfortable RV life.
This was not before purchase. The clients had already bought the unit.
These people were too nice! So glad you helped them get a buy back!
This is great couple, they did reasonable due diligence. They were taken advantage of.
No they didn’t. They should have paid the $$$ for a PRE-PURCHASE inspection, not had to fight after the deal was done.
They admitted they didn’t do research.

Good job Liz. Bluecampus did the right thing by buying it back. Dealer should have never sold it in that condition to begin with .
Agree. I hope Blue Compass appropriately "spanks" the Tyler Texas location management and forces them to get their act together.
Dang Liz!!! Great job on this one. That was a horrible story they went through. I'm glad it was taken care of in the end.
Thank you Liz for exposing the problems with newer RV's. Love you Liz
Great job, again Liz!!! I think each RV dealership should hire an independent well trained and certified inspector to inspect each and every RV when it arrives and of it doesn't pass the inspection send it back to the manufacturer at the manufacturer's expense.
That would be wonderful, Charlene. Thanks for your support and have a great weekend!
@@LizAmazing You're very Welcome! You, too. I hope you are somewhere wonderful.
Problem is, that's not in the dealer's best interests. *The dealer wants to sell RV's.* Discovering problems before the sale hinders that process. He wants to make the sale and collect the money. *_Then,_* if problems are discovered, they can be addressed...but not before the vehicle is sold!

TY Liz it's very sad this happens to people.
Dealerships need to be held responsible for the products that they are selling! Great job as usual Liz! 👍👍
Liz you’re a miracle worker!!!!
Aww, thanks Jeff!
After watching many of these videos, I have a new awareness while driving to give any RV a wide berth while near them.
That's awesome! So glad to hear this and thanks for sharing! Looking forward to seeing you on the road!
Just as bad RV manufacturers and dealers should be named & shamed, so good dealers should be identified and praised! So where did you get your RV from?
Liz, you are a life saver!
Never buy a Blackseries!
Made in China means substandard.
BUYING BEFORE the issues are fixed is not smart. NNTAS, "Never Never Trust A Salesman".
Great job, Liz and channel viewers. Good for coming through in the end, Blue Compass management.
How on earth do these manufacturers keep building crap, and even worse the dealers stay in business. Liz, we sure hope they get out of this junk. Liz, Thank you so much
Love the content Liz. Keep it up by helping these folks
Also, I don’t think anyone who can’t do their own work should buy an RV of any kind. They will ALL break.
Great work LIZ!!! I’ve been a follower since u starting uploading videos!! U are truly a blessing!! Keep going!!

Wow, that’s awesome 👏🏼 great outcome. 🎉
Excellent Liz congratulations you are the spokesperson for the public and those who need help!
Thank you so much!!
That camper was the parts camper for the other previous campers that needed fixing.
That was FUNNY!
Great video Liz!!!❤
Email Liz!!! This seems like a juicy situation
Sounds like time to talk to an attorney. ⚖
Great job Liz!!
It’s pretty much practice regardless of vehicle parts are swapped out to fix another unit.
The RV industry is really going to hell
Definitely past time for them to wake up and start doing right by their customers. Thanks for watching.
Thank god for you Liz.
What about his Veteran plates? What about their trade-in?
Thank you so much for this, Ben!
Many dealers stopped selling that crappy camper.
Not being a negative Nelly, but this is all stuff you look at before you pay… this is common sense 101
keep doing your good work !
The treatment from these RV manufacturers and dealers is just disastrous. Thanks again for sharing these stories!
Yeah, I'm glad there's someone like Liz to hold their feet to the fire. 🦶 🔥
Keep up the fantastic work Liz.
Get a true professional RV inspection on any RV purchase... Especially for anything built by Thor anything built by Thor.
From what I've seen on this channel, I wouldn't touch anything built by Thor with a ten-foot pole. ☹
Thor does not stand by their "warranty" even for simple stuff.
At that point, I would immediately take my business elsewhere.
Great job, Liz! Good for Blue Compass for doing the right thing.
Letting the dealer inspect the RV is like letting a fox guard the hen house
I hope this story motivates more buyers to get inspections for new or used RV's.

Glad for their resolution! Warning! If you buy Chinesium don't be shocked when you end up with Chinesium. No matter what the product is.
Yep, I agree. Thanks for watching, Rick.
I think that's the issue here, not dealer pre-title misuse or old product.
Thanks Liz, great public service.
This manufacturer should be ashamed, but unfortunately they are not.
Who ever thought that you would have to check the tires to see if they are old.
I do it when I buy a used car, but would never think to check tires on a new car. I'd bet this trailer was truly a 2019, with a phony title! I've heard of folks rolling back odometer mileage... but faking a title? Wow! Even better!
Well done Liz
This whole industry is not trustworthy.
Liz, I was seriously thinking of buying an RV, but after seeing so many nightmare scenarios with how these folks get treated, I'm not going anywhere near an RV.
