Canada Truck Driver: India से पढ़ाई के लिए कनाड़ा पहुंची ये लड़की कैसे बनी ट्रक ड्राइवर (BBC Hindi)

तनवीर कौर कनाडा के टोरंटो की सड़कों पर ट्रक चला रही हैं. तनवीर कौर पिछले पांच सालों से यहां ट्रक ड्राइवर के रूप में काम कर रही हैं. पंजाब के रोपड़ की रहने वाली तनवीर 2017 में स्टडी वीज़ा पर कनाडा आई थीं, पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद उन्होंने कुछ समय तक एक होटल में काम किया और फिर ड्राइविंग का पेशा अपना लिया.

It is nice to have Tanvir Kaur's experiences of being a truck driver. This could be possible in Canada, but here in India, it won't be an easy task for a female to become a highway truck driver. The best part is that she is a postgraduate female truck driver. As we all know the Punjabi community is known for its hard work and broad-mindedness. Punjabis are really a helpful community, especially those belonging to the state of Punjab, and this has been shown by Tanvir as she is ever ready to help fellow females to enter this profession. In fact, truck drivers are auto engineers at least for their vehicles, which is exemplified by this young female. All the best young lady! Thanks BBC for such a creative story.

im a canadian PR and i work as a truck mechanic in Canada. Being a driver is very hard. You have to sit in one place for 12 hours and just look at the road. That truck will become your home. You have to eat, sleep and even shit in that truck sometimes.
Trust me, you dont wana become a driver unless you have no other option.
Being a mechanic is easier honestly because I just gotta work 8-9 hours then I can go home. But yea, its worse in a way that you spend money on tools and other stuff
