They didn't award citizenship. But a work permit as all refugee applicants are given a work permit till their case is heard which takes a couple of years.

I don’t know how anybody in their senses can find logic in allowing illegal trespassing and awarding such intruders citizenship.
This hope, that, this way or that way
we will get US citizenship, all we need is just to cross the border is the root cause of the crisis. Strict laws are a common sense for such trespassing, in India how we treat anybody who try to cross border from Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc., it’s the same way for US and US must handle it with strict rules of deportation.
They didn't award citizenship. But a work permit as all refugee applicants are given a work permit till their case is heard which takes a couple of years.

@divyansh2347 they will definitely get green card but minimum it will take 8-12 yrs,in the meantime they cannot go even outside USA until they receive their PR...
