Canada is extremely populated and not even that costly. As a person living in Canada I am always shocked the how costly India has become. So many things cost the same in India what they cost in CAD in Canada. The thing is many people move to Canada without doing any research of the cost and kind of jobs that pays well. Trucking, Driving Taxi/Uber/Lyft, working at a store does not pay enough. You gotta be educated, learn the Canadian ways and get into good jobs and business to be successful.

I live in Canada and want to give my honest advice to those who want to come here. I have studied in IIT and IIM in India and then I earn CAD 200K(approx INR 1.2 Cr) every year in Canada and still I am just barely able to live a comfortable life here. Rent of a decent 1 bedroom flat here is CAD 3000 (INR 1.8 lakh) per month. 1 GB per month (yes, per month) mobile plan costs INR 1800. Grocery is crazy expensive and so is everything else. If you don't already have a high paying job in Canada even before coming here then DONT COME. Most students struggle too much and their parents have to sell everything back in India just to support their expenses here. A few who dont have land/money in India sleep on footpath or park benches. Be honest about your situation and make an informed decision. Dont ruin your life by coming here just because your neighbor or relative came.
Punjabis are going to Canada not because of they don't have any opportunities here, mostly go because of showoff. Same as Andhra people going to USA. In society they are considered as more elite compared to people living in India, even it doesn't matter what they are earning and saving there.

I live in Canada and want to give my honest advice to those who want to come here. I have studied in IIT and IIM in India and then I earn CAD 200K(approx INR 1.2 Cr) every year in Canada and still I am just barely able to live a comfortable life here. Rent of a decent 1 bedroom flat here is CAD 3000 (INR 1.8 lakh) per month. 1 GB per month (yes, per month) mobile plan costs INR 1800. Grocery is crazy expensive and so is everything else. If you don't already have a high paying job in Canada even before coming here then DONT COME. Most students struggle too much and their parents have to sell everything back in India just to support their expenses here. A few who dont have land/money in India sleep on footpath or park benches. Be honest about your situation and make an informed decision. Dont ruin your life by coming here just because your neighbor or relative came.

Punjabis are going to Canada not because of they don't have any opportunities here, mostly go because of showoff. Same as Andhra people going to USA. In society they are considered as more elite compared to people living in India, even it doesn't matter what they are earning and saving there.

Furthermore, the love is for the family rather than for the country. In this case, it does not apply to all Indians, but to the majority of people
But that is not bad per se. If they find better opportunities in India than Canada, they should work , do businesses, farming etc in India. Nothing wrong with that.
