There would be a certain existential dread from knowing you were the worst version of yourself in the multiverse. Imagine how depressing that would be.
Man, without inside a mind i would never find all these interesting series and topics. Project earth really is something special, not an attempt at getting popular or anything, just a passion project.
Something I find is important is how each alternate version of Greg is so grandiose and exciting. As if they are purposely trying to tear him down, "look how cool it would be to be in that universe!" It's like a cult tearing new recruits down to suck them in by promising to give them a better future. Trying to convert him to willingly get transferred into another timeline. Same with the friend and the wife. Tom just wanted to see himself have great hair but suddenly he is the Vice President, while Christine finds proof for ghosts.
and with Tom! the best friend banter was so real and well written. and how disappointed in his alternate self he was for skipping out on his wedding, even if it meant his dream comes true.
My personal theory is that, the I.C.E machines are probably not actually machines that allow you to view alternate realities, but rather machines that create said alternate realities. The story that Berry's writing could easily be some sort of alternate reality, stuck in medieval times that he's forced to keep the same over and over again for the sake of a TerraNova experiment. The TV could work similarly, creating these realities in the form of documentaries about a person's life in them.
that's plausible. and the characters gaining sentience and going against the storyline may be a part of the reason why the multiverse is collapsing in the first place.
@@mookinbabysealfurmittens maybe, but for the people watching is there really a difference. Since you can't travel between them, their revolution would just be another episode for us. You'd just think they're breaking the 4th wall
More likely it's the TYPE of machine that dictates how they interact with the multiverse. The typewriter creates realities, the TV views realities. I'd wager something like a sliding door could be a method to traverse those realities, or perhaps a car. I'd be interested to see if that's the case.
seeing the numbers on berry’s social media stuff be so low considering how high quality this is shocked me, hopefully this puts alot more eyes on this project because this looks really cool!
“Locked Below” is the lobster that comes with the “Project Earth” steak. It pairs so perfectly, but either of these amazing series are absolutely spoiling us. I love it.
Hearing "The multiverse is collapsing." and "He is coming." immediately made me think of Lord English from Homestuck. It would be wild if the "he" mentioned here was something similar to that, albeit most likely not as horrendously bizarre (I hope).
The bland main character who has almost nothing going for them but had so many goals and dreams that they’ve become the perfect alternate reality test dummy is very reminiscent of Everything, Everywhere, All At Once. It’s cool to see that concept taken in a different direction.

It could have been because he was spawning new causalities too quickly by madly hypothesizing, or maybe just because he was getting too close to the truth.
The fact that this is technically a Wattpad fanfic trope is so funny to me. I spent far too many hours back in Middle School reading about characters being trapped in a supernatural movie theater as some amoral author insert makes them watch other versions of themselves suffer.
I'm so surprised that when they saw like ghosts and aliens were real in the other multiverses that they didn't freak out. It seemed like they just were kind of like "oh everything in the other universe in separate and like an alternate reality" but to me doesn't it mean that aliens and ghosts are real in their own reality but people just haven't discovered them??? I would be like wait wait wait, aliens ARE REAL??? lol
You can make an argument either way. They're centering it on Gregg and his life, but the fact of the matter is that none of those changes can reasonably be expected to have such results unless Gregg is the main character of reality. They may be going down that route, with Gregg unwittingly having profound influence over the world, but I'd imagine that it could just as easily be that the company is leaving out significant details about the things outside of Gregg's influence that needed to be changed in order to make these fantasies possible. I feel like Gregg and the egg imagery does imply something about him, but whether it's a case of someone having it out for him, or him being significant in other regards, isn't clear.
From the comic and the struggle between the writer and the characters, it sounds to me that timelines are supposed to be lineal and not have any branches. I wonder if that's why the multiverse is collapsing.
Wow, so many cool things at play here. I was especially impressed by the hidden dialogue within the subtitle track. It really sells the illusion that the video glitched out. Thanks for signal-boosing cool, obscure projects like this one!

this is the first ARG ive been able to catch in the early stages, and I mean EARLY. Been waiting for each episode and im so interested in where it goes
Well that comic book sounds very Alan Wake. In general a lot of the concepts are very similar to some in that series of games. We got the parallel universes and OOPs from Control, the whole writer writing a story into reality from Alan Wake. In Quantum Break time is collapsing which has some similarities to here the multiverse collapsing etc. But there's also a ton of things that reference other series so might just be a coincidence and not a direct inspiration.
This reminds me a LOT of the anime Stein's Gate. The anime focuses on a college student who accidentally makes a machine that can shift him between realities.
I love these "Comedy Horror ARGs/Unfiction projects". One that immediately comes to mind except this one is Mikaeli hitting metal. I hope that once that series gets to it's next semi-conclusive point (or even ends) you'll get around to covering it
Okay, weird random thought. The way TerrANova spells its name led to me splitting the letters up in a different way. Rather than “terra nova,” I saw it as “Terran ova.” Ova as in egg. So I had a bit of a theory of my own I'd like to share. Specifically, it's about the 'He' figure we've seen, the man with his back turned. My thought about this is: if the multiverse is collapsing, and Greg is the prominent tester- singled out-what if 'He' is an amalgamation of all the Multiverse's Gregs? To make it more simple for me, I will refer to 'Him' as Greg Prime. Greg Prime is essentially causing the Multiverse to collapse, i assume to become a godlike figure (perhaps reborn as per the egg imagery?), but there's one universe's Greg that is innately refusing to join, which is our protagonist. Heck, that voice we hear in Episode Zero might be an incomplete Greg Prime, as the scientist wonders what they will do with this Greg. So, Greg Prime, over these formulated, not yet collapsed universes is trying to get to Greg, convince him that his life would be so much better if he joined the mass that is Greg Prime, in a very subtle way. And once he DOES get Greg to join, well, we don't exactly know what he will do then, but it certainly won't be good. But that's my two cents, I might be completley off, feel free to correct any mistakes I may have made.
wait am i just going insane or does the egg dude sound like a voice over actor the Inside a Mind uses for his other videos? maybe its just a coincidence

OH MY GOD, IT'S MY FAVOURITE TH-camR, INSIDE AN EGG!
I would pay actual money to see Murder Stoppers
This is crazy, I love it! And that TikTok short omg, cracked me up
wait am i just going insane or does the egg dude sound like a voice over actor the Inside a Mind uses for his other videos? maybe its just a coincidence
I think it is!
@@alfonzog_music It is the same voice! I'm also the scientist in episode 0, and the cop in murder stoppers. Gotta say; it's weird to be friends with an arg theorist when an arg you're involved with starts to gain traction. XD
@@thelooneyturtle One can definitely see how that would be a weird feeling, but hey! It's great that you're in at least two great series!
This is jamies arg, the egg used to be a really old character of his named harold.
Utopia.... where cows are disappearing based on the last headline of the VP's announcement.
Seeing your channel all active again makes me happy :)
He’s alive! Again.
