Same argument for phisical fire types with no puches, stucked with fire fang (not 100% accuracy) or flame charge (50 Base power move) fire blitz (recoil) or rageing fury (confusion after 2 turns and 2 pokémon can learn it)
That's a good point. My argument would be to buff Flame Wheel to be 85 power, like I did for Spark. The mid-tier move of Fire Fang stays, and Flame Charge would take the spot of any Pokemon that learned Flame Wheel (like Quilava). This allows Flame Wheel to be learned later. Off the top of my head, this would make Flareon better, but I feel that the issue isn't as prominent for fire-types. Good catch, though.
The funny thing about the Electric type is that it is an extremely solid type, but it's hard to see that when honestly most physical electric types are pretty lacklustre aside from legendaries and mythicals. Electric only has ONE weakness naturally, and although it also doesn't resist much, electric also hits those common bulky water types super effectively and in VGC hitting Flying types hard is also important because they are omnipresent in the format with their access to Tailwind being one of the most popular forms of speed control. Similar to how Gamefreak seems to keep making bulky, slow ice types, Electric types keep getting fumbled with lacklustre movesets and abilities. I also find it insane that Electric, which is thematically associated with being fast, only has ONE priority move and it's a signature move. We desperately need a universal Electric priority move, preferably one that is physical.
There's no reason for Fire/Ice/Thunder Punch to be weaker than Flamethrower/Ice Beam/Thunderbolt. Intimidate and Rocky Helmet already make physical worse, so this is just the devs being stubborn for no reason. "What about iron fist or tough claws?" Okay nerf those to make up the difference or don't idk. I don't think 108 BP punches would even be that crazy considering we have shit Close Combat.
"Thunder Claw" would be a cool move, especially from an anatomical standpoint too, opening up future design possibilities. Someone else mentioned fire-types, and my suggestion would be to buff Flame Wheel in the same way.
Wider distribution of Zekrom Kick would really benefit a lot of electric types
That’s a very fair point, but out of respect for game balance, it makes more sense to give more Pokémon access to Zekrom Punch
That'd kick Miraidon into OU though

Luxray could really benefit from an electric version of Dragon Claw. The same goes for fire-types who have a similar problem

Hopefully we get some new dual type luxray variant in legends ZA, they fixed a lot of pokemon with hisuan variants.
Supercell is ass.
That move should not have existed.
