Although outdated i still like to see these old machines in action and i like the look of the long operating levers
Drove one of these when I first started 35 years ago, they where an absolute dog
Operated nit drove u idiot
I was very lucky as a kid in the late 70s and early 80s i was about 15yrs at the time and would spend my school holidays and weekends down at the building sites, the guy's got to know me their and they used to let me have a go on there excavators digging, one such machine is the one's shown above a jcb 807. fantastic machine it was, they let me dig out a part of a new sewer trench which was about 14ft deep as i remember.that will stay with me forever the good old days ❤️.
Well done JCB !
That opening front windscreen! What a brilliant feature, still keeps the showers out by becoming a peak & allows the operators to hear what’s going on at the business end
Iconic Great times and brand colour @jcb
Funny to see the cab on the other side of the excavator 😅
I did not realise that era had a tilt cab.
This is the only right hand drive machine I have ever seen !
John deere had em for years u haven't seen much I'd say
Hymac were originally RH as well.
Another genuine JCB as the motto went and the 806/807 models dominated the 70’s but they were of their time with the Hydraulics and Perkins Engines being the Achilles heels for them. The “Hushflo” Exhaust system tended to allow Exhaust Gas to be drawn back into and over the Engine making everything black and mixing with leaking Engine oil and Hydraulic oil to leave a right mess for the Fitter when he called again. Happy days.
Used to drive an 807 , was ok back then
I did apprenticeship with passion: Paint Shop
The best AC unit choosing which window to use 😂😂
Hush Flow Exhaust…. Interesting
The company I worked for back in the 1980’s had a Deere and an air operated Koring excavator…The Deere as the smoothest to operate . But the Koring would move a lot more dirt but being air switched it was not what you call a delicate operation machine….The boss buys a JCB at auction with environmental friendly oil in it because we have a large marina basin to dig….If it wasn’t for the slanted joy sticks ( I thought the idea was neat till I drove it for a week …the Deere( bachhoe and excavator )and the koring had similar controls so they were easy to switch back and forth ..but the jcb with slanted controls and a faulty check valve buried in the bottom of the hose pit under the main boom it wasn’t long before it was back at the auction block..if we could of figured out how to rotate the joystick on it 45 degrees we probably would of keep it..
U mean operate? U don't drive excavators, u must be a dumbass truck driver
@@huvvy lmao……if you could lift you knuckles off of the floor you would see that the Deere’s and the Koering we operated while the JCB was something that was difficult to operate so we could only drive them…if you actually watched the video of guys “driving “ the JCB then watched a video of watching someone operating with either Deere(backhoe) or Cat(excavator) pattern you would see a more fluid control while the jcb x pattern was difficult to run and klunky especially coming out of a Deere or an old AC.
❤❤❤❤
👍👍👍👍
Agricultural in terms of today’s computer made systems!
Jcb Crane one day???
They say in the "greatest ever" show, that this brand is the best in and around the world, well i'm in the netherlands they don't sell them here so they lie about that what more, they just push a lot of branding in america thats why they are so know in america...
they do sell them in the netherlands
There's plenty of candidates for the best excavator, and it's down to personal choice, my old kobelco I wouldn't swap for a new one ever
@@johnsimpson8652 jcb don't sell them here, the ones "they"other sellers sell here, are second hand
@@johnsimpson8652 all secondhand, jcb them self don't sell them here just other sellers
@@ttwwiisstteedd960 very surprised to hear that
To this day jcb is the worst piece of shit ever made even lower than case equipment, which stands for can't afford something else
