- JCB 5C - (Manufactured: 1969-1973, 11 ton, 77 hp Perkins 4.248 engine) goes back to the UK having been in Co. Kerry, Ireland since 1977.

Thanks very much for this video we are now using it for training and have called it : Load and Secure Plant How Not To Do It. 1. Parked much too close to a overhead cable. 2. Jumping out of the cab. 3.Working at height with no fall protection. 3. Using a Disc Cutter with absolutely no PPE not even eye protection. 4. Only 2 independent chains securing the Excavator when there should be 4 plus the one over the bucket but he had his flashing beacons on. At least they wished Jason a safe journey home and he will need it if he drives like he works. The sad thing is if there had been an accident it would have been the employers fault for not supervising them. Still they do say : You Can't Teach Stupid.

SEVERE LACK OF HYDRAULIC OIL IN THE JCB 5C. SURPRISED THE HYDRAULIC PUMP NEVER SEIZED UP & SHEARED THE DRIVE SHAFT. OIL LEVELS SHOULD ALWAYS BE CHECKED BEFORE STARTING A MACHINE!!! COMMON SENSE!!!
