Interested to know who’s engines they used if anyone knows🤔 apart from power output there wasn’t much info from voice-over man regarding the engines.
Thanks for posting these oldies JCB, interesting to look back even if it was before my time its good to see how things were done back in the day. We now all have the benefit of hindsight with regards modern design, but a lot of these old jcb machines looked fairly pioneering and cutting edge for their time I would say. Same with the new machines there’s some clever ideas being brought to the table for others to follow

418 Uses perkins 6.354/ 423 Uses leyland engine. 428 Uses Daf engine

Smaller 412 my dad drove was a Perkins 4 pot,ultra reliable machine never failed unlike the old matbro that constantly broke down😂
