- What's good TH-cam its DaVizion back again with another MMA Reaction! Today I'm reacting to The World of Boxing! -Bas Rutten - The Brutal King of Pancrase. Before watching this Documentary I had ZERO idea who Bas Rutten was. But after watching I definitly Understand why many consider him the Original Goat Of MMA! I enjoyed Every Bit!

Pancrease is an early form of MMA. In Japan they got very curious on what really works in a fight. So in a way Pro Wrestling started MMA. Huh until now never thought of it like that.
they fight for 15mins a go... thats crazy... and title fights are a single 30mins round...

Pancrase was a early fighting "hybrid" wrestling/mma company started by notable shooters/catch wrestlers Minoru Suzuki , Masakatsu Funaki and Ken Shamrock are some of its earliest and most notable members. At their earliest the rules were punches (though you couldnt punch the head in early matches, kicks , knees , throws/takedowns and palm strikes were the allowed forms of offense till the 2000s were the rules were closer to PRIDE. Jason DeLucia, Bas Rutten , Frank Shamrock , Guy Mezger , Semmy Schilt , Josh Barnett ,Yuki kondo, even Carlos Condit have fought there.

And before I see It, I will already tell you: people dont strike with their Open Hand in MMA/UFC/ONE/PFL, because they're DUMB. Not joking. Its effective as heck and It is used in Japonese MMA/Kudo more extensivly.
