90% of any trained fighters don't loose street fights. Training changes what street fight means. Unless you meet another trained fighter chances are with training youll win. The only street fight I almost lost was against a seasoned boxer. I'm MMA trained. Thai boxing, wrestling, jujitsu and Kung fu. The only reason the boxer didn't beat me is because he couldn't see the kicks coming. One good kick to face and everyone goes down, even a boxer. Lol

In the social ecosystem, bullies make-or-break people. You can either crumble under the pressure or learn to fight back. In a weird, sad way, the bullying worked. Sometimes it takes a villain to make a hero
Their talk about barfights reminded me of the time a guy I didn't even know spit on the back of my neck bc I was talking to his ex gf (who was a friend of mine for years). Needless to say the guy attacked me shortly thereafter and I was proud that I totally handled the guy without even punching or kicking him, just tied him up and hip tossed him to the ground in a reasonably gentle way. Then a bunch of bouncers ran up and threw that guy out of the club, and said they saw the whole thing go down, said I could have hurt him but didn't, that's why they let me stay and threw him out.
Cool story. I stopped a guy from getting in a fight in Gold's Gym Las Vegas. He was arguing with a UFC fighter back when it was bare knuckle, and few knew about it. Things kept escalating and I jumped in and asked the fighter if he was that guy I saw in the UFC. He said yes, and I shook his hand and said it was nice to meet him; then I said to the other guy, "Let me talk to you over here," and told him about the new pro, no-rules, cage fighters. He asked if he should go should go apologize; I said let him cool off for a while, because he's still mad, I could tell.
I went to College in the 90's too & did everything to avoid fights. No one fought fair & even if it started out 1 on 1 his buddy will come up & kick you when you are on the ground.
Yeah, and when the NFL star Dexter Manly went to college as big freshman recruit, he thought he'd fight someone at a fraternity who was lippy. It was night, and he couldn't see the guy's hands, nor did he expect him to have a knife. Dexter still has the scar on his face.
BULLY: My bully started selling drugs after school. He spent time. He got out and became addicted to that shit too. Last time I heard about him he was homeless. BAR FIGHTS: one night a random dude was drunk and bothering the girlfriend of one of my mates, he was too shy to react. I was sick of it and invited that guy to stop. So he calmed down and said “no, I’ll be smashed” then he sat down and stop bothering us. He didn’t know, but he felt something. I was competing at European level at the time but we featherweight are never taken seriously 😂. I didn’t want to fight so I’m happy how it ended.
Cool story. I knew a a K-1 and MMA extreme fighter in Vegas who came back from the rest room to see some black dude chatting up his girlfriend. He told the guy he was her boyfriend to get lost. The black dude said he didn't like the rude tone of voice. My friend didn't apologize; then the guy asked him if he wanted to fight. My friend said sure; it was the only thing he knew how to do! -- he fought all the time, as pro kickboxer, full time bouncer, MMA, etc. Like going up to a pro golfer and challenging him to a golf match. My friend hyperextended the guy's elbow outside after taking him down because he felt like practicing submissions that day.
