    I used play sc2 back in 2010. This was my to go build. This built was strong vs zerg. It got me to gold league

    I think this build is similar to the previous one, but this one seems better to me. I think I'm going to practice it because it looks fun and seems pretty simple. So now I can have just 2 build orders for TvP.

    Loved the video thank you. Small criticism: it'd be good to see your overlay throughout the build, e.g., @5:50 I can't see supply, timing, etc. Cheers!

      I agree, I prefer to see the overlay as well. It's easier for us to refer back and forth with the video to see the supply/time

    I’m a Zerg main but highly enjoy the Terran race too. But it’s been years since I played it and I had just been kind of winging it with no clear build order! Finally looked into some and this helps a lot thank you!

    This is great thanks. It would be even better if you hadnt hidden the ingame timer though. For us lower level players this is a huge help.

    Hey Hushang, this is great guide, I actually did the Clem version of this build for a while and would love to get your thoughts on a few variations:
    1. Isn't opening Marine (vs reaper) a bit greedy given the cheesiness of ladder?
    2. I usually time it to hit +1/stim/shields simultaneously (requires 2nd rax before 2nd depot, then 3rd rax, then ebay), any thoughts on when stim/concussive might be preferred (esp with only 2 marauders)?
    3. Thoughts on taking that second gas early vs two gases around 3:45?

      1. Your scv will find out if it's cheese, I think the marine actually makes it easier to hold early pressures you just won't know which tech your opponent is playing right away.
      2. You want to get to their base when Stim is done, so concussive lets you move out earlier against some builds like blink.
      3. Not yet, played around with both but haven't decided which is better. They're pretty similar

    Does this build hold good with double oracle harass? Seems to ruin my day every day. Lol

      Yep, it defends that fine with either good marine splitting or turrets

      You mean it's this good? I tried it and simply couple of skill battery and an immortal plus other units can hold. It's the Dolan build I'm shitting protoss with. Like 9/10 win ratio. This 3 rax is 0/10.

      @@HuShang I see, guess my mistake is that when I move the push and scan (ramp that's why) the natural I see like 2 pylons 2 skill battery and a few stalkers and I say this guy is dead. So stim and focus fire batteries and still lost all my units (maybe focus fire the few units) but yeah I shouldn't have attacked at all. That is totally defended. Maybe one pylon I can but not two. Should check if there is a third and focus the attack there. Then proceed to next phase which is improve army comp and expand.

      @@moileung Yeah, see how uthermal manages the attack in the last example replay. Protoss can also do something like defend + go for tech like colossus instead of the 3rd nexus. They should be able to defend with either of these options and you won't be able to kill them. If they try to do tech + nexus then you can punish.

    Great guide for terrans, good job! So, to defend this as a Protoss, I open Stalker Sentry and hallucinate scout the three Rax. In response, I delay my third, build a shield battery, chronoboost my immortal, go up to 3 gates and build and build adepts. Is that a reasonable defence or can I do something better?

      im not hushang (obviously) but if you were to open robo, you can still get the third all you need to do is keep workers on minerals (fully saturated), get 2 more gateways (to the 3 you already have), and chrono an immortal. it's better to go up to 5-6 gateways, and you should already have 3 gateways regardless of whether you open blink or robo, unless your build specifically calls for less gateways (like 2 gate blink a la zest). you should delay any secondary tech (so colossi, etc.).
      this works in masters 1-2 or lower. gm is probably harder. you dont need to delay the third, although im not completely sure about worker production (and obviously you should have batteries at each base that can get attacked). sometimes i can afford not to cut it, sometimes it's difficult.

      Yep, there's another version where you get +1 instead of combat shield or all of the upgrades but delay your factory quite a bit. My personal preference is this version :)

    just run into that super battery and stim your army to death, while toss takes its fourth. 70 % winrate on bronze confirmed though!

    so what about this order against dts? e bay at #4 is little bit late i guess against protoss. there will be no reaper to scout so i think vulnerable to that kind of schnenigens

      You won't be able to have the turrets finished, but you'll be able to start them when the DT's arrive and use a scan in the meantime. Usually against DT your stim attack does a ton of damage.

      Yep, agree. Just reserve your scan before the turret is up. You're good.

      hard to help without seeing the replay. Ghost are the direct counter to ht as I'm sure you probably know. Lots of times in sc2 its an indirect problem like pushing too early and losing your army very inefficiently or pushing too late and letting your opponent get away with too much. Could be a lot of things tbh. Come join the discord and post your replay there for analysis :)

      Don't need to push if they are over defending. You only need to push if they're being too greedy.

    So after playing 50 or do games with this build. I will come to this observation. This build is for longggghh games. Like I beat many protoss with it but it took average of 30 mins each game. So tiring. So here it goes like I have my marines marauders ready with stim and conc shell attack the natural but if not defended, it's just stim and win. But if well defended, like multiple battery or so many units camping, this the problem arises. So i go for the third, that will be the target.i can get a cancel or lucky snipe. Then move out coz protoss will have the army already to beat your push. So then phase two is on, you have a third and building medivacs and the protoss has also the army to fight you. And from that it's just war of attrition back and forth back and forth. If you lose your mojo. Your dead. It's really a good build if you like long games but this is not good for peeps like me who wants shorter game. Take for example the Dolan build. Build 4 mines drop to protoss bases if good drop the second and final attack will be easier coz the toss has less funds for his army. If you mine drop and see cannons and battery, don't drop your mines, send it home and join the final push which will follow. It will be a Thor with multiple scv on auto repair plus marines followed by liberator and tanks. But the main push is thor and marines and scv and the widow mine if you didn't land it. After the attack you either win or lose. Game over. Basically it's shorter. Anyway I like this 3 rax build a bit but this build is not as simple and quick ending as the Dolan build. This 3 rax build is designed for long game.

    I never really liked this build. Like im aware its one of byun's favorites but clem's take on the 3 rax with stim/shields/+1 always seemed way more potent/consistent. not to mention losing the reaper feels pretty shit even if its the meta at the pro level. even in like 4.5k mmr getting 2 probes and a reliable scout on twilight vs robo/stargate is pretty consistent.
