- here we replace the front suspension coil spring on this Ford Fiesta car.
cold weather causes a large increase in the amount of collapsed suspension.
also use a tool to remove the locking wheel nut
Great video, thanks a lot!
Now I know how it all goes together and is supposed to work. Now I can take a look at why my father's Fiesta makes such stange sounds when turning the steering wheel.
Thanks for this. Every other video I’ve seen shows removal of bottom ball joint, track rod end and even driveshaft.
When I had a look I thought your method would be possible.
Glad it helped
Why the hell do they make it so the coil nut fills with water? Same on my one 🤦♂️
13:02 currently trying this and the shock absorber isn’t moving! Neither are lining up, why is this?!?! Thanks for the video so far 🎉
Great video thanks!
Most of the nuts came out fairly easy, except the last one in the suspension to take out the spring, cant seem to budge, have tried everything
Lots of wd40 and an impact gun or few taps with a hammer to break the rust
Did you get it done?
Please, help me, anyone...can I remove the three screws out of the flange without using a spring press? I just want to replace them
shame your in luton im in newbury and my coils snapped to
Great job mate. I did this without an impact gun.. only had my hand impact driver.. few clouts with a hammer and jobs a good un 😁
Thank you
Have a 🍺👍

These Ford's continuing to pump out cars to fail..
Umm this is a 15 year old fiesta & as long as you take care of them they're good cars.
