Anyone who reads this. Do not grip the shock piston with vice grips when installing the new shock absorber. You will score the piston and cause the shock to leak. Big no no.
Yes your right if some one hold in the bottom. If someone hold from top with care it’s not problem at all.
You know why. Top side not come to the oil seal. It’s mean it’s not damaged shock oil seal.
