Awesome. The 'edit' issue mentioned at 1:04 should now be fixed in Cavalry 1.5 👍

That was really well edited and explained. I have......for the longest time been meaning to make certain jobs easier by using Google sheets - it was selling point for sure, and then I became distracted by everything else in Cavalry. 😃

Thanks! And yeah, it's super easy to stumble across a new behavior and spend 5 hours just tinkering with things haha

I'm just starting to get more involved with motion design. I like Cavalry very much. Just got two weeks free trial with Premium. I was thinking of starting with After Effects but I like Cavalry better now.

That's great! And yeah, I like Cavalry more than After Effects too

@@ElliotMosher I'm going to look into After Effects as well, but starting with both at the same time is too much ;-)

@@johnengert5768 It's definitely good to know After Effects as it's currently the industry standard. But, I personally believe that Cavalry will become the industry standard in the next 2-3 years just because of how powerful it already is.

Elliot, love your tutorials! I would like to see one dedicated to bringing in artwork from Illustrator, breaking it apart and animating it on using falloffs and stagger animations. I assume there is a submesh, duplicator and stagger involved, but cannot figure out where the keyframes go. Submesh animation is somewhat confusing in Cavalry. Thanks.

I'll add that to the list! I think there's a couple of ways to approach that depending on your specific use case. Feel free to ping me on the Cavalry Discord server if there's a specific look/rig you are trying to set up.

Amazing tutorials! I'll make a tutorial series on my channel about blender and I'll use motion design, since I don't want to pay for Adobe software I'm using Cavalry! I'll also make cavalry tutorials at some point

Will Excel linking be supported? That would be great as I don't generally use Google sheets and many organizations favor Microsoft Office over Google for security reasons.
Plus Sheets sucks compared to Excel.
Oh, and nice video. Makes me want to try Calvary.

Not yet, but I am compiling a list of viewer requests and I can add that to it! Any particular aspect of map animation you are interested in?
