Love your channel I’m only 24 9 months in my account management rol, 9 months ago, there were 11 client success managers more senior than me, now they are all gone and I am inheriting a lot of messy work :(
Your video just seemed to drop out of the sky!

I'm so sorry to hear about the mess you've inherited! These challenging times are when we learn the most about ourselves as we overcome them. It's also a chance to reset relationships with your accounts and establish how YOU will manage them moving forward rather than hanging on to the ways the previous AMs did things! Hang in there.

Great tips as always! Taking responsibility is the best tip. Customers are not fools. They know that a new account manager means new changes. May take some time to build trust again, but that’s what the role is about. I had the opportunity to find the issue with the previous person, straight from the source, and that has helped me build new relationships as I am doing what he didn’t. Month 4 for me has been a great time so far.

Thanks Jess and you're so right that customers expect a new AM brings changes and that's what they're looking for. Doing things the same way means the problems don't get fixed!!! Glad your new relationships are in a good place and you were able to sort out the issues!

"speed doesnt matter. Forward is forward. Okay?"
    Wish my boss know that.
    Thanks, master!

I totally understand your frustration. Managing unrealistic expectations can be so challenging. One quick tip is to have an open conversation with your boss about setting realistic timelines and prioritizing tasks. Sometimes, sharing your perspective can help in finding a better pace. Keep pushing forward-every step counts

Another excellent and very informative video, I am very surprised how this channel is not reaching out the level of views (success) it deserves. Mr. Brown you are true gold.
Thanks for inspiring and training future KAM.

Aww thank you so much! I appreciate the support. Biggest reason the channel isn't growing as fast as I'd like is because I don't publish enough content consistently. My last video was November!!! I'm hoping to do better this year. There will be another video next Wednesday!
