Thankyou so much.Ive spent 15 grand for my neck.I am turning 57 and yes yr before better is better tjan mine. The afternshot could pass as a neck lift. Please can you tell the brand of the red light panel. Thankyou❤
@@joannacotsios9620 Hi JoAnn! I want to assure you that even though I have been very impressed by what red light has done for my skin, my neck does NOT look like I have had a neck lift. When I move it crinkles and creases and when it gets dry it looks crepey. It is definitely not perfect. With all that said, I am happy with the improvements I have seen using red light, good skincare and some other devices such as micro current and radio frequency.
This was great information on red light. I got burned by one of the bulbs once, at a gym, that I guess was burning hotter than the others. So Ive been concerned ever since. LOL Your skin looks wonderful. What was the serum in the gold canister that you show cased, again if you don't mind.
For those who criticize the before picture - keep your turkey neck. This lady is excited about her progress & wants to share to help others improve their neck sag/lines, some people are that giving. 🥳🥳🥳
Hi Annie! I so appreciate you saying this. My regular viewers know how much I believe in red light because they have heard me mention it over and over and over etc. Lol! I believe in it so much and just want to share my experience. So thank you again for this. I really appreciate it!❤️
I ordered a red light device two days ago. I'm 60-years-old and my neck and chin are getting a bit gravity-challenged. I'm hoping this will help out over time. I have to take meds first thing in the morning and lie in bed for 30 minutes before I really get up and get to my day. (I have Fibromyalgia and a couple other hereditary conditions.) I can get up and wash my face, put on some serum and chill out while getting a lovely treatment. 😊
Thanks for that. I appreciate it! I'm glad to hear you took pictures and if you do end up sharing your experience, I hope you will let me know. I would love to see it!
Your skin looks FLAWLESS!! I have been using my red light panel (RedRush 400 Pulse) daily for 20 min for about a month. I feel amazing! I hope my results are as good as yours!
Thank you for being so kind!! I do have a question for you. I am not familiar with the RedRush panel. What is the treatment time recommended in the RedRush manual?? I only ask because 20 minutes seems like a long time. You can google "the biphasic response to red light" and see that research has shown that if you use red light too long during a single treatment, you can actually cause oxidative stress, which would in turn do the exact opposite to our skin that we are hoping to achieve with red light. But if you are following the instructions in the manual, you should be fine. But I did just want to mention this because as I have personally learned, red light is great, but more red light doesn't necessarily mean better results. I hope it is ok that I mentioned this. I just love red light so much and I want everyone to get the great results I think I have gotten.
I just started using red light for a week. I choose max intensity in my mask and already have noticed a lot of improvement in my skin. Red light therapy does work👍
I am so glad you are seeing the results already. You know I completely agree with you. It does work!! Thanks so much for watching and the great comment. I appreciate it!
I love my red light panel. I have the Mitopro 1500 and have used it for almost 2 years. I feel overall improved. My sleep is better as is my SAD. My joints pains, while not gone, are better. II recently ordered the Mito mobile devise for travel as I can really feel a difference when I am on vacation without my red light device. I am glad your red light is working for you. Thanks for making this video.
Hi Carol! Isn’t red light amazing! Sometimes I am still so shocked that just sitting in front of a panel or putting a mask on, can do so many great things for us! Thank you for sharing with us all the benefits you’ve noticed. I’m glad it’s working for you too! Thanks for watching and leaving such a great comment. I really appreciate it!
I also used red light for joint pain. It helped. I also used castor oil on the joint at night. Strengthening exercises for muscles around the joint helped me. Red light is great but all these lights are different I hope they all work.
I'm 57 and started red light at 55. My changes aren't as drastic as yours, but you've inspired me to start documenting with a photo and short video each year about now. I found one of each from almost exactly a year ago in my camera phone, so just took another set. Both happen to be without makeup, so good comparison. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.
You are welcome and how great you will be able to see your progress. I highly recommend taking pictures because sometimes the changes are subtle that you might not be able to see looking in the mirror, but you can absolutely see in a picture. I just find it motivating to keep up with a routine!
I dont want to be rude if you see this but melonin does affect the durationyou have to expose yourself. The youtuber has pale skin therefore she will need less time infront it. Try a longer period and see if that helps. I say this because i get surprising effects from 10min on my face
Great update!! Whoo hoo 3 years and such a nice difference. I have just started using a panel to supplement using my neck and deck mask. Led for the win (and Maysama of course!!) Same story for me on my older pictures ... people really need to understand we are trying to share not fool people :) Your skin is goals!!!
Oh Cindy, you are too kind. Thank you! Red light is really the only thing I have been most consistent with. I am lazy! Lol! And red light is the easiest! I know you understand the "before and after picture police" here on the internet! They have no idea how hard it is trying to show accurate pictures with the same lighting, position, etc. Oh well! Thank you for watching and the super kind comment. I truly appreciate it!💕
No one tells you to exercise your neck to reduce the waddle as you age...put your head back as far as you can, open your mouth and close it, lifting the jaw up as you close. Look to the right and do the same...then look to the left (I do a set of 25 each way). Do this every day when you're young and you won't get a waddle (promise...I've been doing it for decades...I'm 62 and possess the neck of someone 30 years younger!).
Also, when you say to lift eh jaw as you close, do you mean to use the lower mouth/jaw to make the closing motion, rather than having the top of the mouth move down to meet it?
yes, keep your head tilted back as far as you can when you move to the right and left...you want to feel the muscles in your neck stretch on each side.
Hi Tina, you look beautiful! Thank you for sharing! Because of you I invested in a Mito panel almost 1year ago. I also have rosacea and have been off all meds for it since I started red light. I can tolerate not using goggles . I am very pleased with my results. My dermatologist told me my skin looks A+ . The Maysama and red light together is the chef’s kiss for my skin.
Hi Susan. Thank you!! And thank you so much for sharing your experience.I am not surprised at all that you got an A+ grade from your dermatologist and that your rosacea has improved. I am also so happy to hear that you can use the Mito w/out goggles. (that is a great panel!) I am happy that with the Maysama panel I can do that now too. I want that red light everywhere! Lol! Thank you again for sharing this with me and us! I really appreciate it! Hope you have a wonderful day!💕
@@tinasbestmidlife With the bigger panel I can at least get my upper body. It’s helped with sun damage on my chest, and overall feeling better Too. You are fortunate to have the pulsed light one!
@@SusanDevine-kv2rs I am very lucky being gifted these devices! You are inspiring be to really focus on my chest! Sadly, I really neglect that area and it shows!
Clinique does animal testing. I wish people would consider buying cruelty-free products. No animal should have to be tortured so people can have nice skin. There are so many amazing skin care and make-up products out there.....
Thank you, I wasn't aware of Clinique. I try to only use cruelty free products, but I do have a clinique foundation.. I'll find another brand when this tube runs out.
@@loriglennon6653 That's great, Lori! I find, more often than not, cruelty-free products also have better/healthier ingredients, so it's a win-win, for us people and for the animals.
Clinique also has harmful ingredients in it...why do red light therapy& use a product that does CRUEL ANIMAL TESTING & harmful ingredients...Use natrural products and you will see better health and aging
I did not know that Clinique tested on animals. Darn I will have to replace them. Poor animals, put here on Earth to be tortured. How do those people sleep at night !
Thank you for sharing that! It so sweet of you! I am linking an interview that I just did with Bev May Sanderson - the founder of Maysama. I had my viewers give me there red light questions and asked them to Bev, as she is an expert on red light! I can link for you here in case you are interested!❤ th-cam.com/video/91ZmvBM-5Jc/w-d-xo.html
I think the results of the red light on your neck has been really great. I agree that at some point being 56 you may not be able to continue to reverse aging, you don’t have skin of a 20 year old, of course, but the results have been quite incredible. I applaud you for taking such good care of your skin. At 63 unfortunately my laziness toward my skin care is showing in my neck and I think part of that has been from weight gain, loss, gain….where I get a double chin, and then when and if i lose the extra weight, I’m left with saggy skin. Another great video Tina. Thanks for sharing my friend. 😊
Oh Sheila, I hate how hard you are on yourself. I have seen pictures and you are beautiful! Thank you for your constant support my sweet friend. I hope you know how much I appreciate it.❤️
Hi Sheila there are lots of youtube videos to help you change your neck like lymphatic drainage. I’ve recently started to use castor oil & my neck is improving & my tummy is getting flatter. I’m 63 as well just retired after working about 24/7 for 15 years & have more time to look in the mirror now & see all the problems now, trying to fix & change without surgery.
This is the only testimonial I need - your skin looks so youthful! I am in my early 30s and eagerly waiting for my Bon Charge red light mask. If it can do this much for a woman in her 50s, imagine what it can do if I start earlier (even delay aging a bit??). I have rosacea and I am acne-prone - ditching commercial products and using a tallow soap and whipped tallow as moisturizer and it's been a game-changer. I do not like wearing makeup, and I have skin that is very sensitive to most products, so the better I take care of my skin, the less makeup I feel I need. To be clear, I am not afraid of aging, nor do I think aging is a bad thing at all. It is a rare honor to live a long and healthy life. ❤
I am so excited for you!! I think you are so smart to start using red light in your 30's. Had this been popular in my 30's I can only imagine how great my skin would look now! I whole heartedly believe in red light, but I also know that prevention is so much easier than trying to play "catch up"! I think you are really going to love it!!
Wow! You look really good! Im just starting out home red light therapy and I just bought myself a red light therapy pen tool that's designed specially for the eyes. I also got myself a HIFU/RF/EMS red/blue/green light therapy device for targeted treatment on the face and body. I might get the LED full face mask too!
Even with different lighting that is an incredible improvement plus you are three years older not younger. Amazing. I have two mitored panels and am trying to get into a regular routine with it.
FYI To everyone who has hyaluronic acid fillers in their face. I purchased the Mito 1500 professional 4 foot light and started to Use it. I journaled area exposed and length of time, started off 3 to 4 times a week for about 3 months. Then I noticed a lump in my lower cheek region. It was definitely a firm nodule.I thought I had cancer. After going to the doctor and getting an MRI it was determined that the filler had hardened in that area. My plastic surgeon said there have been incident of red light therapy causing these nodules so please be careful girls.
Thanks for sharing your results. Yes, you’re not only maintaining but improving. I see it. Your skin is gorgeous. I’m 66 and have seen strong results after five months of LED. I’m doing my second microneedling today. At home. It’s my fav. I just started microcurrent every day. I see results there too. I wish more women could see all this stuff works if you keep at it! Congrats for three years of hard work.😊
Like I said in the video, I saw the most improvement my first 6 months of using red light. So I can completely understand how you are really seeing results right now. Hearing you mention micro needling and how you love it, is intriguing. I have yet to try it, but I am interested for sure! You could not be more correct when saying that these things we do at home like red light , microcurrent etc. definitely work but you absolutely need to be consistent! Thanks for sharing this with us. I really appreciate it and I know others will as well!
Micro needling is not something that should be done at home. It needs to be done in a clean environment with FDA/Health Canada approved devices by trained individuals to avoid skin damage.
@@captainofmysoul6162 microneedling. Dr. Pen M8s. I love, love, love it.light weight to hold.easy to use. Takes practice to be even handed. Microcurrent is Nuface Trinity. I would not recommend this one. If I could do it again I’d get two mini’s. Foreo, probably. Two would make it go faster. It’s very boring but it works. I also wish it vibrated at the same time.
@@captainofmysoul6162 look up the you tube channel Claudia Glows .. she has great info on Microneedling from safety, to technique, to effectiveness. My favorite you-tuber on this topic. Done right, you can see impressive results. I have micro-needled a long time with no difficulty.
I have a very powerful photbiomodulation device I bought to help my son who was severely vax injured 25 years ago. It's really helping him. I've used it on me to regrow hair. My hair was really thinning and the red light has made it thicker, my hairdresser agrees. You can't stop doing it though or the hair will fall again. I added some beef organ capsules a few months ago and am seeing even more growth! Also I use Celtic Complexion eye elixir on my eyes (no more hooded eyes!) and castor oil as my skin moisturizer. I think my skin looks good for a mature woman (60s). Tina your skin looks amazing especially considering you have rosacea. You can't even tell!
Hi Sallie. So great hearing all the wonderful results your son and yourself have been getting from red light therapy. If a few years ago you had told me that sitting in front of a light could do so much for your health and appearance, I would have thought you were crazy! Lol! But it really is the real deal. Thanks so much for watching and sharing your experience. I really appreciate it!
@@tinasbestmidlife Thanks for your response and I guess everyone is in your former camp. My device was crazy expensive and part of my justification for purchase was that I could use it on others. Your skin looks flawless!! You could pass for 30; I'm not kidding!! I use red light therapy on my face; I am going to add my neck after seeing your results. I've been using the Dr. Gross mask for about a year and have noticed good results. I like it because it has 5 different depths of red light and goes up to 880 nm. You really want the red lights to be right up against your skin to get the maximum benefit and that particular mask has a contoured fit. They also make a neck mask and the face mask has a blue light option, which helps counteract any redness from rosacea or acne. Thank you for your honesty and for sharing your results!! Don't forget to add actives like tretinoin or retinol, niacinamide and vitamin C and never forget sunscreen/ SPF!!
Addressing knee pain is essential. Red light therapy has been transformative, greatly easing my knee pain. At 46, I feel much more comfortable! I got my RLT panel from Future Form Official, and it’s affordable.
Thank you so much for your comment! I have to be honest, a few years ago I was so skeptical about this, but still decided to give it try. Well as you know from the video, I am a believer and so glad I tried it! I just love red light and don't ever want to be without it!
Thanks for posting. I'm exploring options: whole body vs face & eyes for several medical issue. Cosmetic results like yours would be a very 🎉nice "side effect" indeed! Don't let the 'rock throwers' get you down, some people are naturally unpleasant/unkind and show little to no effort to improve.
Thank you Lyn. I hope you get some relief with red light therapy. I love learning about all it can do! Thank you for watching and the encouraging comment. I really appreciate it!💕
Hi there! I just came across your channel. You look absolutely beautiful! I’ve been wanting to try red light for so long! I have rosacea as well and I have tried so many different things to try and help it but nothing has helped with the redness!! I also suffer with severe chronic pain and the red light is so beneficial for the body! @Maysama is so good! Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful rest of the week! 🥰
Hi Crissy! You are very sweet! Thank you!🥰 I will tell you that since adding the Maysama serum to my routine, my redness is so much better. My skin looks the best right after a red light treatment. I am sorry you suffer from chronic pain. I know that red light is my go-to whenever I strain my back. I am always amazed how quickly it helps! I know there is a tanning salon near me that has a red light bed. I think that would be amazing! I am glad you found me and you certainly brightened my day with your comment. Thank you!💕
@@tinasbestmidlifeThank you so much for your kind response! That’s awesome to hear that your tanning salon has a red light bed… I used to tan in beds years ago so I know with the way my back is now, I wouldn’t be able to get in out of the bed but I appreciate you letting me know about it though. Thank you for the encouragement! I just started using 6 weeks ago and i was wondering if my neck would tighten up...evidently it will! Your neck is beautiful. I am also doing it for SAD and other issues but it seems to be something i look forward to doing instead of dreading. God bless you
Hi Shirlee! I am happy this video could be encouraging! I'm a little bit obsessed with red light. Lol! It is still my favorite "anti-aging" device and I could never give it up. It is very interesting you said you are using it partly for SAD. I am going to read more about that. I love learning about all the wonderful things it can help and I will say, I always just feel relaxed after doing a treatment. I think that is one reason I have been very consistent. Thanks for the wonderful comment. I really appreciate it!
Thanks Tina, very good advice and reviews. You look amazing, your're skin and neck look fantastic. I will try red light on mine! You were talking about red light, the eyes and goggles, it is safe to use red light for the eyes as long as it is low power for example 8 milli watts per cm 2 (you can go up to 20/30) for 3 minutes in the morning, this is actually good for the eyes, especially if you are 40 and over, having the eyes closed makes hardly any difference to the red light getting into your eyes, however, as you said helps with the skin on the eyelids. This can help slow the ageing of the eyes if you do it a minimum of once a week , can also do it 2/3 times a week (I have been using red light glasses for a year and I have improved colour vision as well as slowing the ageing of my eyes which is quite amazing, wait until you see life in brighter colour it makes being alive even better, more intense, you have probably improved your eyesight with what you do ). Like you said if the panel comes with goggles, if it's more powerful or seems really bright to you then wear the goggles.
Your skin really does look beautiful - glowy and gorgeous! I can't remember what my skin looked like back in my 50s, sadly, and I didn't take a whole lot of care over it, so coming to a regular skincare regime in my mid-60s is probably a bit late to make much of a difference, but keeping ageing at bay for as long as possible is not a bad aspiration! I am always so impressed with the way you present the science, in a completely understandable and easy to follow manner! Have a wonderful day ❤❤❤
I’m 66. I started July 23. It’s not too late. I promise. Really. If you keep at it you will see improvements. Tretenoin, great daily skin care and sunblock to start. Red light, microneedling, microcurrent, peels. If I could send you pics of my face I would. I reversed excessive sun damage on my face. Now I have to work on neck. lol. It was too overwhelming to do it all.
Thank you for sharing! I also found that RLT was easy and I had no difficulty being consistent with RLT. I have even treated my hands with exciting results. I hope that you tell all of your friends how nice it is to see improvement in your skin and remind them to always wear sunscreen to keep their skin beautiful.
Hi Carol! That's what I love about red light too. It is so easy to be consistent! And I am in 100% agreement with you on the sunscreen. Doesn't make any sense to repair your skin with LED and then not protect what you did!
You are so sweet to say that. Thank you!! I have done a couple of videos on my nighttime and morning skincare routines, but I haven't yet done a gadget routine. But that is something I will be working on. Thanks again for making my day with your sweet comment. I really appreciate it!❤️
I. Have used the maysama serum with my red light routine and I find it sticky to use. What I did was purchase rooibos tea and make a cup and after it cools down I apply it. It is more absorbent and does a better job.
Thank you so much! I have to be honest, I still go back and forth on whether I feel comfortable treating without goggles, so I don't have any improvements to share as far as eye health is concerned. Not really a health benefit, but I love the way red light makes me feel inside- calm and relaxed. Thanks so much for watching!❤️
Hi Tina! Your results are truly inspiring (and your skin is beautiful). I have been using my Red Light panel the same amount of time as you (and the Maysama Rooibus Pressed serum was added about 1.5 year's in). Like you, my neck was my worst trouble spot and while it's not like I'm in my 20's (hello sunbathing and tanning beds for years!) at 62 (yow!) my neck--and skin in general--definitely looks a whole lot better. I also average about 5 times a week for 10 minutes each time and I absolutely think this is my holy grail, desert island skincare device. I will never give it up! I don't use goggles either btw and I swear my vision has gotten better too (anecdotally of course!). Your video once again confirms my choice to be consistent in the use of Red Light! If I were to get another panel, the Maysama Pulsed Light would be my choice.
Hi Sallie! Thank you for sharing your experience being a long time red light user as well. You know I agree with you about it being the "holy grail"! I will be an old lady (hopefully 🤞) sitting in front of my red light! Because I have seen pictures of you 🥰, I can attest that it is working for you too! You are beautiful and look so much younger than your 62 years! I am so lucky being sent all these fabulous devices! Thank you so much for sharing with all of us and I hope you're having a great week my beautiful freind!💕
The Clinque Moisture Surge spray is a good one, but since filming this video I have been using the CeraVe Hydrating Toner. It's great and you can save a few dollars!
I really like your channel. Like others, I would encourage you to explore alternatives to Clinique. There are SO many great companies making wonderful products that do NOT experiment on animals that I just can’t see the justification for supporting companies that are not cruelty-free. If you love dogs, you will especially want to do this as beagles are a favorite of experimenters (mild temperaments, forgiving). Rabbits are also experimented on a lot. Thanks for giving this matter some serious consideration.
Red and near infrared light is good for the eyes if you expose them to it as in open your eyes and look into the light. There was a study that showed a reversal in aging related damage to vision.
I didnt like my Mito light because I didnt feel it was the right wattage for the best results. Also, too bright. I love my new panel by Mychondria. I use it with green tea serum & really seeing great results on my neck & jaw but not so much my eyebrow line sagging but I'll keep going. I feel you on the people saying stuff on the before photo. I get people saying to me that because sometimes I use light filters not photo shop filters, that I am not showing my real skin. But hey if people don't want to believe then that's on them. I love your video & you look great!
Hi there! I do like the Mito panel, but it is VERY bright and I can never treat without the goggles because it really bothers my eyes. Glad you found a device you love that you can tell is working. It is so hard to try and share pictures without people "coming at you" for something! Thank you so much for sharing your experience !❤️
6 months in I can see real benefits in my batwing arms. They had sagged early in perimenopause and have benefited the most. It's helping my rosacea, melasma and slowly my fine lines. I wish it improved volume - sadly can't do all - I still do PRF injections twice yearly for my tear troughs.
Thank you for your video. There is data about it helping vision/eyes, but everyone else says it will cause blindness. It appears to be the only wavelength, the red light wavelength that is safe for eyes- yet of course its scary and daunting to try. We are all told this causes blindness for all other lights. I hope someone has more experience on the eye area to share.
I also hope we can see more studies on red light and eye health. I am linking an article that I read about red light and eyes in case you are interested . Thanks for watching! www.aao.org/eye-health/news/red-light-protect-aging-eyes-rlt-pbm-near-infrared
Yes that is what I read too, the blue light is bad the red light regenerates it. Of course the retina is so sensitive. Its something you want to sure about. I use a mask too so far no problems. @@tinasbestmidlife
I had red light therapy once with one of those devices that come over the top of you. I had Google's on but after that when I was driving at night I had flashes of light. With the Goggles it was still bright. I had to stop the treatment. Maybe different for others.
@@antheahamilton4268 My face mask is pretty mild. I don’t wear any goggles with it. I’m sure it has shined on my eyes as well. There are intensity levels which may be the reason. I keep my intensity on low. It has worked fine for me on low. I think pulsed light would also be too powerful for an eye area but maybe not. Seems an eye specialist like Huberman Lab should do a show on this.
@@tinasbestmidlife Your research should concern you: Risks of Red Light Therapy A recent study in the US suggested that red light therapy with several available red light instruments could cause retinal damage. Coincidentally I have just gotten the Maysama red light and Rooibos serum and love them both! Its been a week and I saw someone that I haven't seen in a few months and she noticed a change in my skin.
Isn't that so exciting!!! I swear some of my regular subscribers are probably so tired of me going on and on about red light, but I just love it so much!! It really works!!
Wow thats amazing. Your skin looks incredible. Thanks for sharing so much information. I actually bought a red light mask that has the neck attachment. It's kind of heavy. But i got scared about using it because i kept hearing people saying it can disolve the fat in our faces making us look older. I kept thinking that didn't seem possible for a home device to have that much power. But maybe those people were using it much longer than recommended. So I'm going to take some pictures and start using mine.
Hi there! I had also heard that about fat, but that has not been my experience at all. You are smart to just do the recommended treatment time that the manufacturer suggests for your device. Red light is wonderful and I think some people learn that and then want to do MORE. But I have personally learned that longer red light treatments doesn't mean better results. You are going to be glad you took some before pictures! I hope you see some great results!
Hi Tina, your skin looks great and I can hardly see any wrinkles. I also have very dry skin in the cheek area. My neck starts to look saggy and wrinkley. I have been thinking of red light therapy, but I don't like those masks. But sitting in front a device seems to be more comfortable. I still don't know yet if red light therapy does more damage to my body as I want.
I have been using full length red light with caster oil mix with Cerave lotion. My face is so amazing. The reason i use full length because i want to fix my scar on my tummy and cellulite. Less visible but still need more time.
Try this exercise...look up as much as possible and then press as much of your tongue as you can into the roof of your mouth. Leave your jaw closed but not clenched. Also you can do it while looking up and to the left/right. The red light has been very effective for you, I'm looking to get one myself. Thanks

@@tinasbestmidlife Hi Tina. I am new to red light therapy. I've been debating for the last two weeks which panel to get. On the short list are the Mito Pro X 300 and the Mayasama Panel. Do you think the Mayasama panel is just as effective as your Mito panel? And are you able to travel with the Mayasama panel? My main area of concern is beginning to notice some laxity in my upper eyelids and some redness to my skin. As someone who has 3 years experience with RLT, which one would you get between the two as a first RLT device? Thanks in advance.
@@amorgladiador8856 Hi there! Sorry if this might be long, but I just want to give you as much details as I can, as I understand all the research that goes into purchasing these expensive devices. I am not sure if you have watched all my red light videos, but the very first one I did was on my first 6 months of using red light and the great results I got for my neck. During that time I was using the Mito Pro 300 panel. After doing that video I am very lucky because I have been gifted many devices from other companies. I have been able to try LED face masks and I do like the masks, but I tend to prefer the panels. I was gifted the Maysama panel about a year ago and that is the panel I prefer to use. I can't even remember the last time I used my Mito?? The reasons I prefer the Maysama panel over the Mito panel are these: Maysama has the pulsed light technology in their panel and my Mito does not. I have seen that Mito has recently also come out with a panel that offers pulsed light, but I have no experience with that one at all. Yes, the data is still small on the benefits of pulsed light, but from what I have read, it does excite me at the benefits this can provide. I also like the Maysama panel because it doesn't produce as much heat as my Mito does. I don't think my Mito panel ever really exasperated my roseaca per se, but the Maysama feels more comfortable for me when I am using it, not having the extra warmth. Now I have to be honest that I keep going back and forth on whether it is clearly safe to use red light on your eyes or not. I wish I could find clear guidelines from an expert on the timing, frequency and safety of treating eyes with red light, but I haven't yet. But I will say that when I want to treat the skin on my eyelids, I cannot use my Mito panel. It is just too bright for me and my sensitive eyes. Now I can use the Maysama panel (with my eyes closed) and I don't have that problem. But again, I am not a doctor or expert, so I can't recommend anyone treat their eyes with red light. But that is what I do sometimes. You also mentioned about what you could travel with. My Mito panel is too big to travel with. It is heavy and I would not trust it would be safe in checked luggage and it would too big and heavy for my carry on. Now I have never traveled with my Maysama panel, but it is much thinner and light weight, so it would fit much easier in a carry on bag. (I don't think I would trust leaving it in a checked bag). And you also asked if I thought the Maysama panels is as effective as the Mito. I saw the greatest improvement in my skin that first 6 months of using red light and that was with the Mito Pro. I wish I could somehow do a "re-do" and use the Maysama panel with the pulsed light for my first 6 months and see what the results would be, but I obviously that is not possible. I will say that continuing to use the Maysama panel the most now of tall he red light devices I own, my skin has not gotten worse. I am maintaining my results, which I am actually thrilled about because I am now 3 years older and have gone through menopuase.(which just ravages your skin...) So maintaining for me is great! Again, I am so sorry for the length of this comment, but I do hope it could be helpful. I am like you and research big purchases A LOT before I make them. Hope you have a great day!
@@tinasbestmidlife Tina, I really do appreciate the detailed response and all the research you have done. I have decided to go with the Mayasama panel based on my research and reviews from SMEs that I trust such as yourself. I think consistency is key and I strongly believe that the Mayasama panel being so lightweight and compact means I do not have to invest in another travel sized red light device when I travel, which I do quite often. I also believe if the Mayasama panel based on your response was not able to produce comparable results to te Mito Pro panel, in the last 6 months you would've seen diminishing results and you have not. Due to mostly genetics, I have no wrinkles yet but I have noticed this year, my upper eyelids are beginning to show some noticeable laxity. I'm excited based on your results and another reviewer's with the Mayasama panel because it seems like I do not need to use the goggles for the continuous mode which means I can treat my whole face and the upper eyelids. I also do not need to stop treatment when I'm not home since I can travel with it so that means continuous improvement. I think it says a lot that you have access to all these RLT devices and still choose to use the Mayasama panel. I think when one first delves into RLT, one believes we should get the strongest panel or device but the application of the device is paramount. Mayasama devices are designed for anti-aging primarily and they provide guidance on how to achieve results for this area of concern. Mito while an excellent brand, is not a beauty brand so yes their devices might be stronger if you need them for pain relief etc. but for anti-aging less joules are better. Thanks so much for your advice.
Hello Tina and the RLT community. I wanted to update everyone that I just received my Mayasama panel and used it for the first time. So far, it has exceeded my expectations. Very well built and compact. I can confirm you can easily travel with this panel no question. It folds very nicely and will fit in a carry on bag or small bag without a problem. Which means you don't have to stop your treatment when you travel or buy another device. I also used it with the Mayasama Green Rooiibos serum which I've never used before. It was easy to apply on a damp face which I recommend. It caused some facial flushing which I sometimes get with new products but no discomfort. Since my main area of concern are my upper eyelids, I've decided to not use the goggles. It states in the user manual using the goggles is not necessary and they are provided for comfort. I used the quick start guide and did one minute of continuous red and near infrared light followed by 6 minutes in the 30 hz pulsing mode. It did startle me for a few seconds but I then settled down and was comfortable. The panel is big enough in my opinion for your entire face, neck, and chest. The most amazing thing was after I was done with my 7 minute treatment, I looked in the mirror and the facial flushing from the serum was almost entirely gone. I am floored. I took before and after photos and I still can't believe it. I also have some facial redness I would like to treat and after this first experience I am feeling confident red light therapy with the Mayasama panel will be a game changer for me. Just to compare, I also recently tried one of the new LED face masks and it was very uncomfortable to use and left dents and marks on my face that would not go away even the next day. A panel in my opinion is the way to go. Many thanks Tina for your kind response to my inquiry. I definitely picked the right red light therapy panel and understand why you wouldn't want to go back to a bigger and bulkier panel when you have this one. If anyone has any questions on this panel. please feel free to ask me.
@@tinasbestmidlife awe Thank you ❤, I just purchased the CurrentBody mask using your discount code!Super excited for it!Thanks again for making these videos!
I’m 56 and haven’t dealt with any neck issues yet, but I know that will change and it’s good to see the red light helps with that. I have been slacking this year doing my red light panel due to so much going on with my family. I hope I can get back on a regular routine soon. Thank you for sharing your great results. 💜
Hi Holly! I think my neck looked so bad compared to my face because for many years I neglected it! Whenever I see a young women in a video applying skincare or sunscreen and she only applies it to her face. I am screaming at the screen "put it on your neck!!" Lol! But, I am so thankful to have found things that help. I know you had mentioned a while back your Dad's health was not good. I hope he is doing ok. It sounds like you have a lot going on, so don't beat yourself up about not sticking with routines. Sometimes our focus needs to be where it needs to be and that is ok. Take care of yourself my friend and I hope you have a good day💕
I know what you mean. I’m surprised mine isn’t bad because I grew in the surf culture, lived on the beach in Hawaii and was constantly in the sun with no sunscreen. I also worked at tanning salons at one point. Ugh.. I’m guessing generics play a role here also. Regardless, yes always take the skincare down to your neck and chest. I started that in my 30’s I think and I’m sure that helped reverse any damage. Thanks for mentioning my dad, he’s still in the hospital and my almost 31 year old son isn’t well. It’s been a hard hard year so far.
New subscriber here. I came to watch this video and decided to subscribe. I love how you explain things so well, and, by the way, you look fantastic! I thought you were in your 30s.
Hi Kathy! Your comment absolutely made my day!! Thank you! I am really happy you found me and decided to subscribe! ❤️ I love my red light and and happy to hear you are interested in that as well. I really hope you enjoy my channel!
Hi Pam! Mainly I use panels, but it's really just a personal preference. A lot of the masks you can still place on your neck to treat. I have found the longer you own a mask the more flexible it becomes and it is easier to manipulate and treat your neck. I hope that helps!
Wow, incredible results! I'm curious if you noticed a big difference just seeing yourself in the mirror or if you had to see the pics before you realized how drastic the changes were.
Hi Shelly! What a great question! I did notice changes in the mirror. About 3 months in, it looked like I had less loose skin under my chin. Then seeing the after pictures, it confirmed that what I was seeing was not just in my head! My neck is still far from perfect, but I still can't believe how much better it looks now!
Hi Jade. Thank you! I can completely understand your hesitation. I do know for me personally that this serum has helped my redness from my rosacea immensely. For that reason alone, it is a repeat buy for me and I use it every time I treat with red light.
Hi my sweet friend. Your neck looks fabulous. (I didn't think it looked bad before!) It must be genetics, but that's one area I don't have an issue with. I'm sure I've aged my neck faster since the invention of cell phones (tech neck). My brother is 70, and has nothing on his neck either. And he doesn't even wear sunscreen. Yes, I yell at him all of the time. Your face and skin are incredibly youthful looking. I'd swear that you are no older than 40. You have zero lines on your face. I'm so happy that you are pleased with your results. You are gorgeous! ❤❤❤
Oh Rene! You just made my day! You honestly say the kindest things! Thank you! You are lucky your neck matches your beautiful face. It is such a tricky spot for some of us. Hope you are having a fabulous week my sweet friend! Until next time!😘

Thankyou so much.Ive spent 15 grand for my neck.I am turning 57 and yes yr before better is better tjan mine. The afternshot could pass as a neck lift. Please can you tell the brand of the red light panel.

@@tinasbestmidlife thankyou for sharing.❤
@joannacotsios9620 thank YOU for watching!❤️

Your skin looks terrific. I’m using the omnilux mask to help with aging and my eczema. I hope my results are as great as yours!

What kind of lotion or serum do you use on your skin with it
@marjoriecentore9072 sometimes I use vit C serum but you can just do it without any lotion
Another thing that I am doing now is face yoga and massages and that also makes miracles
You’ve had wonderful results, you look great. Thanks for the update 🙂 xx
Thank you Betty! You’re the best!❤️
Wow.... wonderful! Been considering red light therapy. Thankyou.❤
Hi Gretta! Thank you! Obviously from watching my video, you can tell and I am huge fan!

Hi Stephanie! I so appreciate you sharing this with me. I am going to do this! Thank you !!!
Do you still lean the head back when you turn right and left? And thank you!
Also, when you say to lift eh jaw as you close, do you mean to use the lower mouth/jaw to make the closing motion, rather than having the top of the mouth move down to meet it?
@@MeghanMakesaComment-st1st yes. when you lift the bottom to match the top you'll feel all the muscles in your neck stretch...that's the goal.
yes, keep your head tilted back as far as you can when you move to the right and left...you want to feel the muscles in your neck stretch on each side.
Wow. Wow. Wow. The results are fantastic
Thank you!

Clinique does animal testing. I wish people would consider buying cruelty-free products. No animal should have to be tortured so people can have nice skin. There are so many amazing skin care and make-up products out there.....

This lady is telling the truth 😮 I had a specialist tell me if you buy ONE thing make it a handheld red light device to improve your skin.
Thanks Elaine! I whole heartedly believe in red light!❤️
Your skin looks absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you so much for making my day!❤️
This is the only testimonial I need - your skin looks so youthful!

Micro needling is not something that should be done at home. It needs to be done in a clean environment with FDA/Health Canada approved devices by trained individuals to avoid skin damage.
what products do you use for micro needling and for microcurrent?
@@captainofmysoul6162 microneedling. Dr. Pen M8s. I love, love, love it.light weight to hold.easy to use. Takes practice to be even handed. Microcurrent is Nuface Trinity. Hi Tina! I was so happy to see another Red Light update video from you!
I'm excited to take my 6-mo photo in July, although I'm going several days (or more) in a row without doing it because of travel. But it's still better than no Red Light, right? 🙂
I hope you have a truly blessed day, my friend!!!
I can't wait to hear about your results!
Hope you have a fantastic day my sweet friend! Take care!❤️
You look amazing! I’m so happy I came across your video, definitely wanna give this a try!
Thank you!! I am happy you found me!

LED light therapy is amazing!!!! I’ve seen so many health benefits, pain relief, skin improvements etc in the 7 months I’ve been doing it regularly
I totally agree!! Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment. I really appreciate it!
Can you tell me which red light therapy you use? Is it a full body panel?
Hi Kris! Glad you are loving red light as much as I am!
And yes, I am doing all "the things"! Lol!
Thanks for watching and I hope you have a good one!

Hi Kim! You look fantastic! If you do try red light, I hope you like it as much as I do!

Addressing knee pain is essential. Red light therapy has been transformative, greatly easing my knee pain. At 46, I feel much more comfortable! I got my RLT panel from Future Form Official, and it’s affordable.
I am glad you are getting relief from your pain. So great to hear!

Thank you!🥰
I will tell you that since adding the Maysama serum to my routine, my redness is so much better. My skin looks the best right after a red light treatment.
I am sorry you suffer from chronic pain. I know that red light is my go-to whenever I strain my back. I am always amazed how quickly it helps! I know there is a tanning salon near me that has a red light bed. I think that would be amazing!

@@tinasbestmidlifeThank you so much for your kind response!

Wow, your skin is excellent ❤
Thank you Maggie! That is so kind of you!❤️
Thanks Tina, very good advice and reviews.
Wow!! that is amazing!! Thank you for sharing that with us!!!❤️
Your skin really does look beautiful - glowy and gorgeous! Have a wonderful day ❤❤❤
I started using red light a year ago abd my skin looks great now. I go to a tanning salon and use a red light bed. Never to late to start.
Thank you Dez! Hope you have a wonderful day too!!❤️
Tami! Using a red light bed sounds amazing!!

I like the Hooga wrap - its easy to use and can be wrapped on face at highest level. You can choose 66nm or 850nm or both.
Never thought of a wrap to treat your face! Interesting!

I. Have used the maysama serum with my red light routine and I find it sticky to use. What I did was purchase rooibos tea and make a cup and after it cools down I apply it. It is more absorbent and does a better job.
Glad to hear this is working for you!
Great video!
Did you notice any changes or improvements to your eyesight? Any other health benefits?

Can’t wait to try the Clinique face spray
Wow , it ilooks much better 🎉🎉
Thank you!

It sounds like it is helping you a lot! I love to hear it!!
@@tinasbestmidlife Your research should concern you: Risks of Red Light Therapy
A recent study in the US suggested that red light therapy with several available red light instruments could cause retinal damage. The researchers warned physicians to treat red light therapy with caution until safety standards can be confirmed.
Unregulated red light devices can be found online, which raises concerns among physicians in the U.S.

Hi there! Thank you for the kind words and for watching. I really appreciate it!💕
I have been using full length red light with caster oil mix with Cerave lotion. My face is so amazing. The reason i use full length because i want to fix my scar on my tummy and cellulite. Less visible but still need more time.
Thanks for sharing what is working for you!
Try this exercise...look up as much as possible and then press as much of your tongue as you can into the roof of your mouth. Leave your jaw closed but not clenched. Also you can do it while looking up and to the left/right. The red light has been very effective for you, I'm looking to get one myself. Thanks
Thank you for the tips! I appreciate it!
You are a blessing❤
Well thank you for making my day!🥰
Hi Tina. It's so great to see your update and I'm so happy you are enjoying your Maysama Pulse40 panel. Your skin does look wonderful and your red light journey is paying dividends. xx
I am really enjoying the panel! I just love red light!!
Your neck looks amazing! Thanks for the video

It’s been a hard hard year so far.

how did you do your neck? was it the maysama? i just ordered a mask one but really need to do my neck.

Until next time!😘
@@tinasbestmidlifenow, if only I could do something for my sagging and morphing body!!! 😮
@@reneklein6049 Stop!! You are so lean and gorgeous!
I'm officially adopting you as my sister. Unfortunately, I've put on weight. Right now, I'm just accepting me as me! 😘@@tinasbestmidlife
Sis! ❤️ I’m trying to be accepting of my body too. I haven’t been able to work out from my surgery and I’m soft 😢
