Happy Birthday! My birthday is the 28th! I will be 68....yikes! lol. I never get used to it but I don't think I look as old as my age but I do have some physical limitations now mainly due to knee replacements and one that isn't that great. I still workout every day though. My sister's birthday is the 24th so it was weird in our family and I think we always felt shortchanged! Now I really don't care!

We could get some sewing machines, start designing our own custom tailored outfits, everything would be fitted perfectly to all our elegant shapes. We could show you off on trips, photograph you modeling in prime locations, I'd have to show you how excited I am to have the best looking mom in town! I just turned 25 near the beginning of fall. When my Bday would roll around school was always starting, Halloween was always around the corner, all the vibrant foliage would be changing color, just the best time of the year for me, loved it! I've always been more advanced and matured than my peers, psychologically and physically. If I continue to take good care of myself I'm sure I'll still feel in my prime when I'm 80, like your dad. You seem to still be quite energetic, perky, and youthful. You deserve to do something today that makes you happy and satisfying to your soul, heck, everyday from now on. Happy birthday, dear friend!!! At 59, I feel like I'm about 32. Every birthday present I wrap gets wrapped in Christmas paper, even in May. Lol, if I've been to a wedding or baby shower, you might get lucky and get that. You just need to institute a birthday month. Something special at least once a week leading up to your birthday. We are waiting on 3 packages. But still have everything to wrap. Hubby and I usually have one big wrapping session and just get it done. Often on Christmas eve. Oh my goodness on the rat story. 😂😂 Louie and grandkitty are so cute. I'm so excited about Christmas with my kids and grandbaby. She's 16 mos now and is just at such a wonder filled age. I know that having a birthday so close to Christmas can be tough (my son's birthday is the 29th and he didn't love it as a kid either, especially since he never got to take treats to school!). I totally 'get it' on the birthday wrapping paper too. I loved you sharing how your dad felt in his mid-thirties even in his 80's, and when you got teary-eyed it made me get a little teary-eyed too. Sweet memories. LOL on the Christmas Rat! It reminds me of your cat/hat story last year. 😂 Today I'm getting caught up on holiday baking as I haven't done any and other than that, I'm as ready as I can be for Christmas.
