      lol, yah she drove it home super slow. I was in my Z like COMMON lets go haha. Its just a key fob like my Z. No more key, as long as its In proximity, it starts right up!

      Technology is sweet, i can only imagine your frustration in the z LOL but i would drive the same if my car was literally that spanking new! :D

      yup, soon im sure. They put the initial meguiars stuff on it. Ill wait awhile before I go over it, though I might clay it to show just how bad brand new cars can need attention!

      yah, I mean if it wasn't for the very minor accident in her accent, she would still be driving it!

    I got this car in October, limited model in silver. I got all wheel drive since I live in PA and have snow to deal with. I love everything about it except the mpg but I knew that would suffer with all wheel drive. I have a short commute to work so it doesn't matter too much. I noticed when you turn on the heat, AC or defroster it automatically goes up to a high fan speed and you have to turn it down unless you want it that high. Strange. But it's a great car.

    • @Acc0rd79

      yah, my wife loves hers. she has about 10k miles on it now. she gets about 28mpg it shows on the highway.

      oh don't remind me! Now she wants to be all careful with it etc....finally. However I still have to clean it etc. But, at least shes finally parking a mile away like I do with my cars:)

      @Acc0rd79  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yup, I know right? If I didn't find my Z, I was going to buy a Genesis Coupe instead. We got into the New 15 Genesis sedan and Equus last night....mind blowing quality and luxury. Love em.

    • @Mocchanfk8
      @Mocchanfk8 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Acc0rd79 Man, I've been eyeballing the Genesis sedan and Equus for awhile now (not that I can afford it). They look so classy and executive, haha. My family has always had Japanese cars, but I have a feeling whenever it comes time to purchase a new car, I'll be considering some of these Korean options!

    • @Acc0rd79
      @Acc0rd79  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Katsu Ito yah, don't overlook them. Hondas/Toyota have made uglier and uglier cars the last 10 plus years. Also, seems like their quality is going down as well, a bit cheaper than they used to be. When the Sonata was going head to head and beating the camry for awhile there in sales, you know theres a problem. It ended up in 3rd for the year but hey, that's one HUGE jump up to be right behind Honda/Toyota.

    • @Mocchanfk8
      @Mocchanfk8 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's so true! The prices on Japanese cars seem to be going up while their quality seems to be either staying the same or going down. I admit, they're coming back to where they used to be nowadays but the years they didn't improve dramatically have let the Koreans catch up (or exceed) them!

    • @GTAEmergencyVideography
      @GTAEmergencyVideography 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Acc0rd79 OMG the equus is pure luxury i love it! If you actually bought it that would've been SICK!!! :D

      Diflexster12 yah, its parked next to the Z right now In the garage, my blue prelude is kicked out in the driveway for now.

    • @GTAEmergencyVideography
      @GTAEmergencyVideography 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      lol that's what happened when my older sister got her first car she insisted we keep it in the garage because it was going to get stolen. XD

    • @Acc0rd79
      @Acc0rd79  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Diflexster12 she scared to pull it in there next to the Z so most of the time it will just sit in the driveway by the front door where her old car was. My white car is there now.

    Great review, I'm close to buying one of these. An issue I have is the beige interior I don't like. They don't make the blue one with any other color interior. The only missing feature is blind spot alerts. Otherwise love this car. Like the sportage too. Keep up the good videos!

    • @Acc0rd79
      @Acc0rd79  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      ctflocco well the backup camera is great for people nervous of backing up this but its no issues to see around, I don't even look at the camera many times as none of my cars have them.

    • @ctflocco
      @ctflocco 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree the blind spot alert isn't a big deal, just noticed the cx-5, rogue, and rav4 all have it or at least their highest trims do. So hard to choose a car in this segment, many competitive options.

  • @antoniogunn3338

    Thanks for this video man. My mom is considering this car even in 2018. This one looks amazing though and blue is my favorite color. My brother and I will help her get it if she chooses this one over the 2010 Toyota Highlander. I guess it comes down to a larger older Toyota vs a newer, smaller Hyundai. We will see what happens. Again, very nice car ;-)

    • @Acc0rd79
      @Acc0rd79  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      drive both, and shop around. We contact all dealers in the area and just ask for their best price and then email the lowest price back to them and if they can beat it we go to that dealer to buy!

    I sold my Honda Civic 2012 for a new Hyundai Tucson 2015 Limited Edition. Had hard time to adjust in steering wheel, its kinda hard compared to Honda Civic or CRV, Hyundai should give importance to this issue. Otherwise its the best compact SUV.

      Hey now, I gotta save some of that for me! IT has some meguiars stuff on it now. I might hit it with the Gold class though. Carnuba really makes the darker colors just come to life. However, shes always at work so I might see the car much.

      Yah, I think it will treat my wife good for many years to come! We bought the added 10 year warranty on all parts too. The Hyundai standard warranty is 10years on engine and transmission alone, inside parts are like 3 years, Computers 5 years. WE paid for all 10 years on ALL parts haha. Were not gonna get rid of it for many years to come!

      yah buddy, she showed it to me on the ipad the night before I checked it out. Saw it in person and was like DAMN! I love a great blue. I love my Electron blue pearl on my old Honda prelude. Ive had a few blue cars myself. If the Daytona blue was still an option on our 370z cars, I woulda bought it instead of red. I didn't like that light blue they have now.

    • @zerokool327
      @zerokool327 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I like the blue on the 370z when it's polished up. The dark blue that they have now is also a nice color. I think the blue on that hyundai would look amazing on the Z.

    • @Acc0rd79
      @Acc0rd79  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      not a single problem at all:) Ok here is what I do, I go online and email every single dealer within 50 miles of me the exact same email, tell them to send me their lowest offer and told them I was doing this to all the local dealers so give me their best. Then after each one responded, I took the lowest offer and re-emailed all of them with the email the other dealer sent me and then the one who beat it is who we bought from.

    Okay.... two years in, what is the verdict on this Tucson? My wife and I are looking at a 2014 Tucson right now and would be interested in your thoughts. Good, bad, and otherwise. We live over near New Port Richey. Thanks for your impending reply. Peace, John

    • @Acc0rd79

      It's a great car! Sorry we were out of state. This SUV is about to get traded in as we need a minivan now with a kid. Nothing wrong with it at all just need the room and regular SUV's are cutting it anymore for us. If Hyundai still had a minivan, we would consider trading this car in for one!

    • @nabilm2941
      @nabilm2941 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Did you test out the Honda CRV before buying that?? I'm buying one or the other soon. Can't decide. I'm 6ft 220lbs.... The CRV seems to have more room for me??

    • @Acc0rd79
      @Acc0rd79  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      falcondriver100 no, this is for my wife. She was a Hyundai owner before our wreck we got into earlier this year and the insurance totaled out her car. I have owned many a Honda in the past but I feel their quality and looks have taken a massive nose dive since the early 2000's so I don't mind trying the Hyundai and it works great. I'm 5'10" and have no issues at all and the seat lowers you know:)

    • @falcondriver100
      @falcondriver100 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Acc0rd79 Thanks for the info. I hate to hear that about the Honda's. I have an 02 Civic I bought new and it now has 156,000 miles on it. Never needed anything but oil changes, tires, brakes and of course the timing belt. That's why I wanted to stick with the Honda's. Reliable as hell!

    • @Acc0rd79
      @Acc0rd79  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      falcondriver100 Ive had 4 Hondas but since the early 2000s when they went to bland generic designs, the quality has also started to slip. There was a big deal against the old CEO of Honda from the 80's/90s who talked about the current CEO saying you are letting Honda go downhill, somewhere on the internet! I own a 370z now, still 100% Japanese made and its solid as hell:) Still, we have put over 8k on this Hyundai now and no issues whatsoever!

      no way! The power is too easy to get away from and want to show off. My first car was an 88 Hyundai Excel, like 100hp haha. Then I went to a Chevy Beretta and it had about 160hp. The Z is so easy to get the tail loose with, its ridiculous. So much power you can get into trouble very fast.

    • @Acc0rd79
      @Acc0rd79  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      it has that stock meguiars stuff on it, but maybe in a month or so ill go over it good! Its gotta go in tomorrow to get the windshield replaced. It was straight scratched at the dealer like a foot long scratch into the glass! Like wow, new. He said they get cars in with parts broken straight off the boat etc. Sad but they didn't have another fully loaded one in blue there so we woulda had to wait. So this was easier, they fixed all damage of course free of charge.

      Hyundai isn't the 80s and 90s Hyundai anymore. Quality and resale value has skyrocketed in the last 10 years. Ive had loads of Hondas and I feel they are going downhill somewhat and their looks have tanked heavily in the last 10 plus years now.
