The reason the rear defrost button is there is that in the early tuscon limiteds, the rear defrost button was where the new start/stop button is. The front de-icer button was where the rear defroster button is now.
Maaan, that sound it made at startup! The 4 cylinder Equinox/Terrain models from GM both are known for making a similar noise when they startup. My mom had a. 2011 Equinox once. I don't think 4 cylinders in SUVs doesn't mix well. Too much weight to carry.
I'm sorry but I doubt this car getting fast enough before the engine blew that a crash test would do any good. You have to admit that engine sounds very bad.

That’s how my car sounds right now and turned into a race car noise. I regret it they have tooooooooo many issues and recalls. Now the exhaust pipe is not releasing the smoke properly which is going into the engine. The car burn oil faster than diarrhoea. Just annoying and very bad making. That sound is horrible should be like a new born babies sleep.
