+Puddingfuzz Nah, that isn't cheap. What's really cheap is when Gore Magala flies in the air, stun-locks you with wind and then shoots a Frenzy ball at you. Unless you have Negate Wind Pressure (Hi) on your armor, you WILL get hit by that attack and you WILL contract the Frenzy Virus. And if you don't have good armor and you've let the Frenzy Virus go full course, you WILL die from that attack, or at least you'll be screwed.
+Rachel 'Rathian Special-K' Klusky sounds like what he said but with something that can be easily turned into an affinity boost rather than being a bad thing, and only a bad thing (fireblight)
+Puddingfuzz I personally don't like Rathaos because of the poison homing attack and because every one of his sub classes has the same attack. I hate poison as an ailment with a burning passion because I just feel so helpless with it. I don't really care about burning or slime because you can just roll quickly and you'll be fine. I don't care about water, thunder, or dragon blight because they don't really affect you directly(you're not going to die just because you got hit with one of them). But poison, on the other hand, poison kills me more than anything else and I loathe it. I feel so helpless because, ESPECIALLY at g and even high rank, you NEED to drink an antidote or you will die. You will always take damage, no matter what, and you need to cure it before you run the risk of getting stunned or paralyzed, take loads of poison damage while immobile, then get hit once and die. It's infuriating. You need to cure it and then leave yourself open while doing so, THEN flex for some reason while a giant monster ready to crush your bones between your teeth barrels down at you, and then always finish the animation a second too late and get hit again, usually by another poison move(it's mostly random, but I find that I get hit with poison attacks a LOT after just curing poison). I can't even do how much I hate poison justice as I'm now just rambling on in a near rage because everything from the stupid animation you do after curing it to the sense of panic you feel while it injures you(I'll feel panicked when I test a new weapon out in the LOW RANK EXPEDITION zone and get poisoned. Low rank poison can barely do visible damage but just the fact that I'm poisoned makes me feel uncomfortable. I still to this day carry around antidotes to every fight just in case I forgot something and I could possibly get poisoned by the terrain or something, unless it's absolutely necessary that I leave that item slot open). *Phew* I hate poison. Rathalos uses poison. I now can't like Rathalos the same as I could if it just didn't have that one attack. Also, I hate Rathians and all their subspecies. Poison. I hate it. I think I might need help XD
Interesting it of trivia about the Gore Magala: When it frenzies and exposes its horns, it gains a couple of new attacks, but it doesn't actually hit any harder. The only difference is IT CAN SEE YOU. Gore Magala is blind (if you look closely, there's no eyes on its model) and in its normal form will only actually aim its attacks if you're standing in a virus pool (according to the lore, spreading those are how it "sees", the frenzy virus is an unfortunate side-effect). But its horns are sensory organs, when it's spread enough scales/virus and exposes them, it can track you accurately at all times. It doesn't do more damage per strike - it just becomes vastly more likely to connect.
WTF? Rathalos line in 4U just got a lot cheaper. He's not balanced, they just go "Oh, let's make Rathalos less boring. Let's make his wind knockdown very long so when hunters recover Rathalos can use poison claw. But it's not enough let's make his rage roar chain into fly back fireball that takes 1/2 of hunter's hp. What else, aha, let's keep him airborne all the time and make sure he avoids flashbombs by not looking into hunters or landing ASAP. But we need to make him more annoying, let's chain his attacks so hunters can die in 3 hits, 2 hits to stun him and the killing blow delivered while his head spins. But wait there's more, tackle Rathalos now and you can get Azure and Silver Rathalos abso-FUCKING-lutely free. Azure Rathalos hits harder, moves faster, chains more moves, and flies longer than Rathalos; while Silver Rathalos is a total upgrade from these two juveniles assholes and all you weapons bounce, isn't that a fucking bargain!?"
+Jan M Yeah I seriously felt that Rathalos got significantly more difficult in the past game. I thought it was just me, but it has become one the of the absolute hardest monsters for me to fight now especially it's variants. I'm just like since when did Ratholos get so hard?
Duelboy123 I have to disagree, Los in MHFU stays on land longer, Los in 3U is quite balanced (although his rage roar-back jump-fireball always takes 1/2 of your hp, super cheap). 4U is different, that wind knockdown animation is very long, long enough for him to follow up with homing poison claw (and fireball in G Rank, making you die immediately). Bad thing about wind knockdown is that you don't get MOI so you really are a sitting duck.
+Jan M And of course any armor I know off with windproof high is weak to fire. Best way to take it down, Instect glaive or gunner or just be patients and block or dodge. But year especieally silver rathalos is annoying, but if you ever need to fight something with firelements its armor is probably the best for the job, while Azure rathalos seems to be more rounded. IT does look cool, but it's a pain in the ass.
crash, man, this is probably my personal favourite lust you've done so far. the monster hunter series means so much to me and i am so glad that you finally covered it. i never suggested it as a countdown topic due to the fact that i didn't know if you played it, the gore magala clips from the zelda bosses list gave me hope, and this list was what i planned to request after the top ten FE supports. As i said the monster hunter series is very near and dear to me, as it got me through a time in my life where i honestly didn't know if i still wanted to continue living, i had just moved shcools and did a whole year where all i did was grind slowly though textbooks and get made fun because i played a game called fire emblem awakening, which, as the other students put it was "a stupid time waster for weeaboo assholes" that summer, i strolled into gamester with my brother and bought a used copy of tri, that was the beginning of the best summer of my life, and subsequently the summer i burned out my the hard drive on my wii. someday, when i get a decent desktop and a good video editor, i play to upload some monster hunter content. but until then i'll just have to sit here watching one of my favorite youtubers. Sorry this was a little bit long winded. Congrats on 1k subs crash, -Zerk
+ZerkMonsterHunter 4 Thanks man glad you enjoyed it. I never knew monster hunter was so dear to you, I mean I knew you liked because you name is zerk'MONSTERHUNTER4' but I never would have thought that it had such an impact on you. Though I'm very glad it did because you're one of my favourite subscribers and I always look forward to hearing from you. Funny enough Monster hunter tri was my first monster hunter game and though the situation isn't the same as yours it did help me when I was just started college and was having a VERY hard time keeping up with all the work and stress, thanks to tri I was able to keep on pushing forward since that game was always there for me when I need to unwind and relax. In fact the sole reason I got a Wii U was for Monster hunter 3 ultimate, hell I didn't even care that smash bros was coming out monster hunter was all that mattered. If you do get around to uploading monster hunter content I'll definitely look forward to seeing :)
+CRASHX500 no problem, i feel everyone should be encouraged to do something they love doing, i ended up staying at that school for another 2 years, over time the bullying stopped, and i even found a few other people who played monster hunter , and no amount of being made fun of quelled our hype for 4 ultimate. again, congrats on the 1k, and i'm pretty sure i'll be here to comment on your channel for a long time coming.
+Dominic Butters Well there aren't that many monster in monster hunter I dislike but I can name a few in no particular order. they are: nibelsnarf, congalala, Nargacuga, Lagombi, gypceros, Arzuros, plesioth, gigginox (FUCKING RED POISON!!!), rajang and the tigrex.
Generation 3 was so good. I swear every list has Lagiacrus, Zinogre, Deviljho and Brachydios. And from other generations, Gore Magala and Rathalos are also pretty much obligatory.
Alfonso ST Rathalos is one of my least favorites tbh And I've always thought Zinogre was overrated. But that's just my opinion. I love almost every monster in this series. And I love to hate the ones that I hate.
When i first met rathalos I really annoy with his move but when i learn his attack patterns its really fun to fight with it... but my favorite is nargacuga...
I think my favorite monster in the series by far is the Kushala Daora, followed by Shagaru/Gore Magala and then Rathalos Love'd you're list and I love Monster Hunter. You sir have earned a sub :3
God I love monster hunter, my personal favorite in the serious is 3U. Soooo many hours logged into that shit. Great list though! You seriously deserve more subs, I wouldn't be surprised if you get BIG soon, very great lists bro!
+LloydFreakingIrving Fukin love 3U, and miss nearly everything from the game, even underwater combat. It probably wont be in another game ever, but it would be awesome to be able to mount monsters and have underwater fights, although i'm not so sure how those two would mix..
Unlike a lot of youtubers, I quite like your countdowns. Keep up the good work! : ) Here's my feedback on the video. 3:14 SPIDERS AREN'T INSECTS 3:39 Nercylla was easy. I'm a newcomer to the series, (only having played MH4U), but I killed Nercylla with an Insect Glaive (A weapon i don't even main) and shit armor. At the time I didn't even know not to attack monsters being mounted. Maybe its just my playstyle or i'm just MLG or something or my DLC palicoes or something along the lines of that. Normally, I'm actually scared of spiders, but for some reason, Nercylla was different. It actually taught me how to mount reliably and use the IG. Though I have to admit, the sleep status was annoying as hell and killed me a few times. 8:07 When Zamitros uses his armor, flinching him IS THE EASIEST THING EVER 10:28 When I was fighting Gravios in Black Rock Down, my reaction was: *HOLYFUCKITSADEVILJORUNFORYOURLIVES* *hm meybe i can get a powertalon or armortalon* RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN* 15:38 The fight is mainly about getting on top of him, and wailing on him with a Charge Blade or a Great Sword or a weapon with good damage output and occasionily shooting some Ballistas and Cannonballs and Binders and getting a ' nator when he gets too close to the front of the boat, because he basically stands still half of the fight. He also barely moves during the Showdown. 19:43 Zinogre is pretty easy to keep from charging. Except HR Stygian Zinogre, which is basically invincible while charging. I mean, seriously how am I supposed to attack him when he's shooting FUCKIN LIGHTNING AROUND HIM. He's also relatively easy to read. 24:52 From my experience, Sergios spends most of it's time spamming scales everywhere, which happen to be aimed at me. I usually end up Dung Bombing the guy, because he shows up in almost every quest in High Rank and bleeding sums up to make a pretty big amount of deaths for me. I realize that i could just block the last hit, but often times i trick up and get myself bleeding, which is awful hard to get out of. It's a lot of fun fighting the beast, and i find myself grinding it quite a lot. 27:58 The ending twist in Tri was pretty interesting 31:13 I love Gore Magala, but HOLY FUCK THAT FIGHT WAS FRUSTRATING. Turns out that I beat Gore with the EXACT SAME EQUIPMENT as Shagaru. 32:05 Smash Music? 39:17 Sure, Rathy is the posterboy of the first game, but his fights are rather bleak except...... *cough* Silver. Rathalos. 40:34 BRO HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF AZURE RATHALOS? HIS POISONS ARE CHEAP AS FUCK. DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE FUCKING STUNS. 41:01 *uses gore equipment* 41:06 *talks about rathalos weapons as he uses Dahren weapons*
+Simon Levenston Silver Los is just basic Los with armor and less flighty AI, at least in 4U. Also, ALL versions of Los have that poison quickscope which is *SO FUCKING ANNOYING*. If I have *no choice* but to Superman jump every time they decide to do that move just to escape from it, that's not fucking fair, Capcom. And it's even worse when they follow it up immediately with another atack. PS: I fucking despise all kinds of Rathalos, by the way.
Hi dude, Good video but you should really ask permission to use my footage and other youtubers content. Using a lot of small sections throughout, adds up to a lot of content used in total. I appreciate that you left the watermark in, but you should put credit in your video descriptions with links to the channels that you took the content from. I understand that you have put a lot of work into this, and I'm not knocking that. Editing, commentary and information is great on it. Sure, asking for permission is a risk because the youtuber may say no, but that doesn't mean you should just use content without permission. Next time just drop me a message. Take care
Thanks very much and I apologize for doing so, this is one of my older videos so i'm sorry for not crediting you properly a the time. I have been putting links to other channels who footage I've used in the description my more recent videos, so i'll be sure to ask you next time I would like to use your footage and not make the same mistake again. Once again I apologize for not crediting you properly.
Lao Shan Lung from the original Monster Hunter (PS) was EPIC. The canyon you fight it in was the main reason. Between the thin, winding canyon with a clearly limited range and the slow, but inexorable crawl of the massive mountain of a monster, which hardly even notices the fleas of hunters trying to stop it, this fight gave the most incredible feeling of an epic fight that will go down in legend. The overall feel is the same as the Jhen Moran from Tri, except the field for the fight actually made it feel like a last-ditch, epic defense.
Brachydios is not cheap, once you have learned the attack patterns, you can solo it so easily, even when you are fighting raging brachydios, just use the kushala daora charge blade or the seregios bow with a power setup
Well there is one cheap move up its slime coated sleeves. The lunging punch when it's in rage will more often than not catch you, not with the physical punch but with the explosion which causes a lot of damage. And to make it worse, it does this move twice
Very good top 10 but buddy please next time ask to use people's content people can get really pissed off if you use it without asking( personally doesn't bother me) at least put there channels in the bottom ;)
I’m doing a binge on peoples’ favourite monster videos, I love hearing peoples’ opinions on this series which I care so much for. I remember way back when I was first discovering MH content creators on youtube and this was one of the first videos I stumbled upon. I’d be interested to see an updated list, one that takes into account additions and updates made by Generations and World/Iceborne.
My experience when I hunted the Savage Deviljho was "Oh crap I'm basically fighting the Deviljho only it's now a 100x worse I'm either going to die or barely win." And this is due to the fact the Savage Deviljho is in basically perma-rage mode.
Wow she's that old. For something 100-years old she's definitely earned her reputation if I recall the cut-scene when you first see her correctly she's so powerful she's got the regular Lagiacrus swimming away in terror.
So is it just me or is the Rathalos overrated? The fight is okay, kinda boring and bs at times but what fight isn't, and the equipment is great but i feel like other monsters just do things better. May be just me
@King Ghidorah75 dude come down that just he opinion no need to get mad over it and me personally the overrated word don't bother me that much no offense or anything also opinion is an subjective think it can't be mostly right or mostly wrong, that is just how they feel
+Jay WingsOfFire Not just yet! Europe still hasn't got an official release date for fates.. but when it does that game is going to become my life both in and outside of TH-cam :D
+CRASHX500 really? I thought you got it when Canada does! I feel so bad for you!!! I hope you get the game close to when we do! I understand the thing about it being your life, when I got awakening for my birthday I had over 40 gameplay hours in one week! (It was summer so I could play it all day) Thanks again for the awesome videos!
+Raimundo Pilotto Don't like fight him... And ugly design. But yes, it's really a challenge to kill him ! Nargacuga is one of the best monster of the game : I hope see him back in mhx
Cool video. I've never actually played any of the Monster Hunter games, so this was all new to me lol. I'm really looking forward to seeing what your next Fire Emblem video is going to be :3
Did I hear you right? Slime is ALMOST broken? Those weapons are broken as shit. Using that armour and those weapons together basically activates easy mode. What's that, there are weapons with different elements than slime? Why should I give a fuck? Slime is basically the best thing to use against any monster, even better than using their weakness.
My top 10 : 10. Great Wroggi - Easy enough to deal with and has amazing armor set. 9. Glaveanus - Monster that fights with a sword. Enough said. 8. Vaal Hazak - His mechanic and appereance are amazing. 7. Gore Magala + Shaguru Magala - Story they used to build his background made him even more impressive. 6. Zinogre - He looks amazing, and his fight is great. 5. Lagiacrus - He was truly a shocking experience :D 4. Seregios - Who does not like him? 3. Nerscylla - Just because I like Spiders, and way he fights! 2. Bazelgeuse - I know, some MHW don't agree, but he can be useful, and I like his weapons. 1. Mizutsune - ...I really, REALLY love its design, battle, music... ...Shortly, EVERYTHING!
cool list bro! enjoy it greatly! you deserve the sub that you have earned. I going to cross my fingers your next list will be the top 10 Avatar/Robin support conversations in FE awakening. if not, well I am fine w it lookong forward to more of your countdowns!
We are getting an English dubbed version of Monster Hunter Stories later this year and the release date for the dubbed version of Monster Hunter Stories on 3DS is the 4th quarter of this year which means it'll come out either in late September, October, November, or December.
I played the demo for stories. It was fun and is why I just got into Monster Hunter. I wanted more so I picked up Generations. So glad I did! So far my favorite monster is the Yian Kut Ku while my least favorite is a tie between that giant Snow Monkey.and Gyrocephos, that poison Whyvern.
Gotta love Stygian Zinogre armor. It's a really high-skill armor with Evade and Peak Performance - because if you manage to evade the attacks, you keep PP and the benefits. Love it! Plus Focus really fits my love for Longswords.
i hate the rathalos he is flying all the time has an aimbot poision claw attack thing it took me 27 tries to get 1 plate for the his armor set and he is just a normal dragon "!!!!!you said it your self "is that an electric dragon? FUCK YES i just find him soooooo annoying to fight and the fact that he will be in every monster hunter game just annoys me even more
I'm glad to see you enjoy this series so much. I've only played MH4U at this point, and I've already clocked in over a thousand hours. Yeah, I love the game. A LOT. Anywho, here are my thoughts on your entries. 10. I will agree that the Nercsylla can give you a lot of trouble early on, but he's piss easy later on with the right equipment and weapons. Hell, I used the Nercsylla armor in High Rank for a time. By the way, the Shrouded Nerscylla's armor is a little more offensive, thanks to Crit Status and Evade Extender. The armor also has points in Carving, allowing you to gem in Carving Celebrity/God. Very useful for grinding. 9. Ah, Zammy. He is pretty fun and his weapons are pretty solid, like you said. Though he can be very annoying to grind at times. Also, his Tigerstripe subspecies can give you some trouble because he tends to bounce and try to bite you far more often. 8. The Mutant Tyrannosaurus Pickle, everyone! The first time I saw the Deviljho, my friends made me attempt to fight that thing on an item quest and I screamed like a girl. As for his weapons, aside from piss poor locked Dragon, they are very strong raw damage weapons you can get. Plus his armor is fantastic for offensive hunters. However, you need a Handicraft talisman of 6 or 7 in order to have Razor Sharp and Sharpness +1 work together. 7. I can't speak much for Jhen since I haven't fought him, but Dah'ren is quite the challenge to go up against. Especially once you hit G Rank. Dah'ren's armor is not too shabby and can be rather useful. If you want to, you can gem in light eater for Rationer, which sometimes allows you to re-use an item you consumed. Dah'ren's weapons for Blademaster are solid water weapons and have a considerable defense boost by the time you get them. 6. THE LIGHTENING HYPE WOLF!!! *ahem* Sorry. Couldn't help myself. Any who, Zinogre and Stygian are pretty great monsters to fight, let alone their kickass theme song. And I will agree that the Zinny Dual Blades are freaking amazing. But it would be some sh*t if they could stand on their hind legs. 5. I don't have much to say about Lagi, but I can say the Abyssal Switch Axe and Gunlance are some of the best Thunder weapons conceived. 4. Glad to see my spirit animal on the list. While he does offer an interesting fighting style and great armor and theme, Seregios can sadly become one of the easier monsters once you lock him down and keep striking his legs, since that is his weakness. This could be just me, but the Seregios weapons sort of drop off the map once you start getting more and more powerful raw damage weapons. 3. I remember back when I played the demo, I called Gore the Xenomorph Dragon. And guess what? According to the lore of the game, the Frenzy Virus it spreads is actually its children. When a monster becomes infected and is not cured, baby Gore Magalas pop out of the chests ala Xenomorph style. Well, damn. O_O Also, Shagaru has my favorite song in the game.
+Spencer Blais I've tried each weapon type but I only use five in total, great swords, dual blades, hammers, switch axes and insect glaives (I used to use sword and shield plus long swords but they didn't work out in the end). Hammers and great swords I use the least since I only use hammers for monster like zamitros, brachyidos, gypecros, and tescuabra, and I use the great sword for really big monsters like, Akanator and Ukanlos, Gravious, Narjarala, dah'ren mohran etc. Insect glaive I used quite often but have the least amount of experience with since they were in three, put I really like them and find the to be best against monsters like gore magala, congalala, kecha'wacha, seregios, khezu, and nerscylla. Dual baldes are my most used wepaons since the attacks are fast and the give me a lot of movement speed and agility comapred to most other weapons and I use them for the faster monsters like Zingore, the jaggias, tigrex and kirin. The switch axe is my favourite and overall best weapon, as I find it work well against any monster and actually is great against flying monsters like rathalos, seltas queen, as well as other like deviljho and overall the switch axes is the weapon I used when I fight a brand new monster for the first time. I'm very happy you enjoyed the video :)
Great choice of weaponry you have there. And your very welcome. As for my weapons of choice, I also use the Switch Axe and Dual Blades, however I also use the Lance, Gunlance and Charge Blade. The Lance I use if the mission calls for someone tanking a couple of hits and having a decent offense. Or just to poke the monsters from a safe distance. :P The Gunlance I use whenever I need more fire power (pun intended) and to break parts that are harder to destroy, like the Rajang's horns or Shah Dalamadur's back. Also, Partbreaker is extremely helpful with Gunlancers, as it just begs for parts to be snapped like twigs. The Charge Blade for me is my most used weapon and one I frequently use due to how versatile and powerful it is. Not only does it pack great power, but it also sports some decent defence to boot. Not only that, but the Charge Blade can fill a few roles itself, due to it being able to score KOs with ease with the Impact Phail. It's no wonder it and the Insect Glaive are some of the most popular weapons as of late. On a side note about Long Swords, I tried using it a few times and it didn't pan out as well I thought it would.
***** A friend of mine informed me about how Gore makes its babies. And given how said friend has played Monster Hunter ever since the beginning, I am pretty sure he knows what he is doing with his research. And yes, I am fully aware of how the Frenzy Virus works. Speaking of the Frenzy Virus (and an excuse to provide some trivia of the game), have you ever wondered why the Tidal Najarala jumps right into its Apex state instead of a normal Frenzied state when infected? Well it turns out that the Tidal Najarala has a surprisingly high amount of intelligence to be able to suppress the Frenzy long enough, in order to enter the Apex state immediately. Now to be fair, you really need to dig deep into other sources to find some of this obscure information to begin with.
the coolest thing about jho weapons is that, as well as weapons from some other monsters, represent the features of the monster you have to get the materials from. In jho's case, they lack of sharp but have some tasty damage; if you use them with artisan+1, youll run out of purple sharp and you will have to sharpen them often, exactly the same that happens with deviljho and its hunger. It will cease its rage often to eat.
21:47 I absolutely LOVE this monster. Not only does he look badass, but I always..ALWAYS have fun hunting Lagiacrus and that's why it's my fav Monster Hunter monster of all time. Brachydios and Rathalos are some of my other favs
Personally I find your list need some more thought. It isn't that I disagree with you but it seems that you haven't put as much time into monster hunter as you think. You missed some major factors about monsters and their G ranked versions/subspecies such as not saying anything at all about Tiger Striped Zamtrios and the fact the slime blight became blast blight in MH4U. Also the fact that you said the Seregios armor and insect glaive is one of your best sets makes me think you didn't really play at a high level like G rank because that armor is quickly outgrown (it isn't even close to end game not even its G rank version). I have to say though you missed something special in the first monster hunter "yian kut ku" the newbie crusher (in later games he became really easy).
There are sooooo many things wrong with this 1. Subspecies are technically different monsters have different attacks and have DIFFERENT ARMOR AND WEAPONS which was a factor in this list. 2. It's very common for people to make armors last a long while 3. What does something special mean? Isn't this list opinionated? He may not like Kut Ku like you do.
+The WB_013 I agree with you except on the armor part. G rank seregios armor is an ok transition armor but not something you should keep using in G special. The're is just way better stuff out there.
+The WB_013 I just want to mention I've been using the Nersyclla Armor for quite a while(When I crafted it after fighting it a bunch in online) and I still have found very few armor that best it. Maybe because I always upgrade it when I get the chance, maybe not that, it kinda've depends, I'm focusing most of my power on killing things that have parts that I need, so in the end, I can say I agree on the armor statement.
My top 5 favorite! (It is really hard to decide these...) 5. Nargacuga (Fun fight, nice gear.) 4. Mizutsune (We are related. It has a great theme, beautiful design, interesting attacks, and pretty gear.) 3. Zinogre (CrashX500 already explained this.) 2. Yian Kut-Ku (ERMAHGURRR, It's so derpily adorable.) 1. Brachydios. (Brach is just plain awesome.)
This was a really well made list and I found that some of your choices to be amazing cough*Brachydios*cough and even though there were a few mishaps they were just a slip of the tongue good job and I'll now be a subscriber due to the great content you produce. My personal list of favorites would be 10. Seregios the monster is pretty easy but his bow, bowguns, and Great Sword are amazing. 9. Diablos this monster has a badass roar and it can be a fun monster to hunt. 8. Brute Tigrex in freedom unite normal Tigrex was the bane of my existence but in 4u when I encountered Brute my expectations were blown away due to him having a different attack pattern than normal Tigrex. 7. Azure Rathalos I like normal Rathalos but I found it to be quite easy but Azure Rath. gave me the kind of difficulty boost I wanted and you may ask why not Silver Rathalos well because you bounce off him when attacking the head or tail. 6. Yian Garuga in my opinion Yian Garuga is probably the hardest monster to fight and I will always be grateful for a good challenge. 5. Nargacuga the bat, wyvern, & jaguar mix is a fun fight and the monster I learned to evade without evasion skill. 4. Chaotic Gore Magala normal Gore was a bit easy Shagaru would have been a great fight without the random explosions but alas that could not have been but Chaos is an amazing monster that has the attacks of both Shagaru and normal Gore but with an extra kick in his attack power. 3. Rajang a monster many people hate due to it's difficulty but after a while it's attack pattern is pretty easy to read and counter but as you may have seen I love monsters that are difficult for all the right reasons and rajang fits the criteria perfectly. 2. Deviljho this monster was once one I could not stand due to it constantly interrupting a quest in 3u but then I found joy in hunting the giant pickle tyrannosaurus and it slowly became one of my favorites. 1. Brachydios/Zinogre the number one spot has to be split into the two monster that provide me with the most joy. First, Brachydios has an amazing design and just look at that pompadour and he has explosions that are not random and when he goes into rage mode the fight becomes amazing. Now for Zinogre he is my most hunted monster with both 3u and 4u combined I have hunted him a bit over 400 times and I've grown attached to Zin over all the hunts.
+Doickls At the end of every video I make I always say that all the content featured is not mine and all the credit/copyright goes to the original owners.
I don't find that the same as giving them credit. Octane, Omega, and all the others would appreciate you maybe linking to their channels? Helping them out a bit? They essentially helped you by providing you footage, so it's only natural you'd give them something in return.
Everybody relates to that deviljho fight... such a great one. I always ran, except for one time, I decided to try to fight back. Landed a few hits, got hit a few times, died, done with that. Never fought again. Until the quest to slay him came up, and my heart sank. Grinded for some better gear, fully upgraded, inventory filled with max potions, ancientpotions, mega potions, dash juice, EVERYTHING. Then came the fight. Got my A game on, turned my hat backwards, and charged right in. Got a few hits in, dodged a few, few more hits, got hit a few times, back on my feet, few more hits, and oh my god I felt like a GOD. This thing that I've feared for so long, I am finally evenly matched with it. Was truly an amazing fight. Despite all this, I still don't rank him in my favorite monsters. That first fight would definitely be #1 in individual fights, but in the long run, once you get used to him, he isn't really much fun to hunt. In fact, he's pretty annoying, because all you hit 90% of the time is his legs. Cool monster, epic fight, but not a favorite, unfortunately.
I'm surprised the Dalamadur didn't turn up on this list, I seriously think it deserved a spot. In all fairness, I think that the fight with the King of Snakes was one of the hardest in the game (along with Fatalis and fucking Tar-tar Gogmaios, though Fatalis is all about adjusting to the weird style). Personally me and my group got wiped, seven goddamn times, by the Dalamadur, no thanks to Snake Bite, the Breath attack, and those damn meteors (I'm a Hunting Horn person, and I ALWAYS get hit by one of those little meteors just as I'm about to play my tune), especially since you can't normally roll through the Breath attack and have to put weapon away and dive through it. Although the fight mechanic was awesome, climbing the body, climbing the vines, jump on the head, plant bomb, break head, and then break claws, oh and that weird pool of burning water. Also, the weapons and equipment was pretty damn amazing, especially that Hunting Horn Guitar (I may be a bit biased regarding this particular point). Finally, in terms of subspecies, Shah Dalamadur is both annoying and amazing to fight, I swear it made me paranoid about walking on anything that was either red, yellow, or orange for quite a while.
The Rathalos is my favourite. It looks badass, the fight is always fun & the armour & weapons look & are incredible. It was the original flagship monster from the very first game & was the first real challenge in it. It has appeared in every single Monster Hunter game since & as such I have gained quite a lot of good memories around it.
I actually have a bit of an idea of monsters myself (And yes i will do concept art) First is the Icthycus, which is an underwater dinosaur swordfish, it darts around in the water, tries to harm you with it's nose and even shoots sharp spikes at you. Next is the Ursala which is a mix between a fox and a bear. mixing both it's speed and strength. it attacks similar to the Arzuros but it is much faster, it has pounce attacks, charge attacks, can create giant rocks and will attempt to bite you, it isn't that big though, in fact it and the Icthycus are only double your size. but the next monster is where it gets big. Last is the Head Jaggia. i know it's a Jaggi enemy but hear me out, it is double the size of a Great Jaggi which is slightly bigger than the Tetsucabra (i mean the Jaggia). she behaves similar to a Jaggia, sits around and doesn't attack unless provoked. in fact she actually sends the Great Jaggi out to hunt instead, in fact she'll let out a long screech to call it, but she is easy to hit and interupt. she also attacks with tackles, bites and all that similar to a Great Jaggi, but when enraged, the frill that's folded will then puff out and it has red vein like marks on it. she gains more attacks, like a fast run and falls to crush you under its weight, jump to stomp you (which does a fuckton of damage, still does a fair bit even with the best armor), a lot of tail whips and call other Jaggi's and Great Jaggi's more quickly. So those are some monster ideas (I will of course draw them and think of more). also a headcannon is that the Head Jaggia is the mother for most of the pack, while the Jaggia's nurse some of her babies. they have children themselves but the ones the Head Jaggia has are a fair bit bigger. but if you kill 2 or more Great Jaggi's in the same mission, she has a chance to arrive, getting higher the more are killed, and she automatically goes in rage mode if she sees they are dead, but the starting rage is short.
Deviljho I remember when I encounter that thing for the first time in MH Tri. A full team of four I don't remember what we were supposed to be hunting just the utter terror and bewilderment of what happened to us upon entering the area and encountering that thing. It one shot my companions and me and we lost not even three minutes into the quest. All four of us dead just like that. This is one of the few monsters I hate going up against
Little over the top with the "this and that stuff is SOOOO GOOOOD!". Okay, we get it, the armor or weapons etc from that monster are really great. Other than that however, fantastic video & nice choices on your list. I honestly was highly impressed & surprised that your #1 spot went to Rathalos; figured it'd be one of the Elder Dragons for once because you never actually picked any of them (but I also kinda liked that about your video too! I think picking any of them might've seemed a bit overrated or w/e, myself). Oh, and don't mind it, dude, wouldn't bash on ya for calling Rath a dragon even though it's a Wyvern. Technically Wyverns are dragons, or are at least related to them. Would've liked to see Tigrex from MH4U in your list or perhaps in the honorable mentions because ALL variants of that monster have good skills and stats too, but oh well. Funny though how you had Zammy in there. It's my personal fav monster & you didn't even cover the subspecies of that one! Anyway, good job & happy hunting!
If i can recommend one thing. Your editing is good and your presentation is good but one thing that would make your videos better is sound quality. Your voice sounds muffled but other than that keep up this awesome work.
Rathalos is fun, I agree. But the variant in X? Different case, he's such a pain to fight, he likes flying around so damn much, especially when he's pissed, and you can't flash him on air until you break one of his wings, I can barely hit him when he's flying, so frustrating!
My favorite monster has to be Akantor. Fighting him for the first time in MH4U, I was going to get the Heroic Blade from Cheeko Sands, but mostly only to help the Cowardly Feline. He is now on my team forever and ever and I will never let go. He was my favorite character, and Akantor, the GOD, was destroyed for his and his father's sake. It felt amazing. Not to mention the fact I started experimenting with Great Swords at the time and oh my gosh, it looks amazing. Thank you, Akantor. A fight using skill, preparation (and a lot of it), and the fury to avenge Cowardly Feline's father. Thank you.
I like this count down and why you may like the Rathalos the most I hate him with a burning passion but to be fare most of this hate comes from the silver rathalos you have no idea how frustrating his fight was for me but other then that I think your list is a good one
I have my own theory as to how Brachydios slime works in battle. Brachydios has armor of obsidian, and the saliva/slime has a special acid that allows it to not explode on its own hands and then eventually explode when it leaves the obsidian. And when the monster becomes enraged, the slime can feel it's rage hormones and becomes much more volatile.
Honestly, I only found the Brachydios cheap when he became frenzied, but I understand your point. The only problem I with this video I think you should fix next time is the audio balancing. The transition music was really loud in comparison to the rest of the video.
True at number 2 Brachy was broken, but not half as bad as the every so evil Kelbi. Referring to the keli bow. As the gunner of my team, it was my job to para, sleep, poison, and or break stuff not reachable by teammates. And found this bow was broken, and this was before we started seeing 4 man kelbi gunner groups. But after eating and stacking blast damage with other skills like bombardair, parts breaker, and what-not...made this to op and rarely used unless grinding a farm monster. And true that Jhen is a very fun battle, my first epic huge monster battle was Lao-Shan Lung in the original mh and yeah I was wearing Rathalos armor when I faced it the first time.
this actually made me feel a lot better, I always feel like an idiot saying rathalos is my favorite considering its the poster child of the franchise and I seem like a lazy fan, but theres obviously reasons, like it being the monster that got me to try the series and it has an amazing design, good to see someone else like that
Blazing Knight, could you by any chance tell me what is the name of the song that is playing when you introduced Rathalos as your number one monster? I would appreciate it considering I have this song stuck in my head and I've been trying to figure out what it is but to no avail.
...Ive never seen the seregios attack other monsters. In fact, in the quest where it showed the seregios fighting the red rathalos, the moment i appeared, both started fighting me together and i was really hoping to finally have a 3-way fight. In my experience, seregios ignores other monsters, just like all monsters do
the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw the brachydios is that it's blood/slime is similar to a xenomorphfrom alien except it explodes instead of melt
In Monster Hunter Stories, they also have the deviljo (sorry if I spelled that wrong) sometimes appear out of nowhere during an encounter. And in the monster dens it can be in any monster den, in any part of the world. Also even tho MHS is a turn based JRPG, this thing still hits like a semi-truck being pushed by a freight train. It does feel awesome when you eventually ride it tho 😈
here is my top 10: 10.teostra/chameleos/kushala daora/fatalis/crimson fatalis/ white fatalis/ g crimson fatalis mh4u 9.deviljho 8.gamuto (gammoth) 7.nakarkos 6.tigrex/nargacuga 5.astalos 4.rathalos/rathian 3.brachydios 2.mizutsune 1.hellblade glavenus monsters that almost made the list: nakarkos zinogre dalamandur (i hate the fight but love his set) dire miralis
CRASHX500 forgot to mention that Seregios weapons also have the unique ability to either resharpen or reload automatically whenever you roll while you have the weapon unsheathed. ;)
you forgot to mention how the Seregios blade weapons can regain sharpness when you dodge with them unsheathed which almost completely eliminates the need to use whetstones, as you could just continuously dodge to regain sharpness.
When you were measuring the Jhen/Dah'ren Mohran to other monsters with length, I do believe you meant CM, not M. God, if Dalamadur was 44000 M, instead of CM, Jhen would be the size of a single scale.
I don't know if you understand how big meters are. You just described the average size of these monsters as between 3-4 Kilometers... I'm sure it was just a typo on your part, but the game measures monsters in centimetres lengthwise. In which case, most non-elder-dragons measure between 300 to 700cm.
I personally didn't have trouble with Nercylla, as I grinded to get the Gypceros armor to make me immune to the poison. With the immunity to poison he was pretty easy for me :)
Nice list I do have one or two things that kinda annoys me 1: rathalos is very cheap on me and he always gets me with the poison claw attack but still a good monster 2: seregios armor doesn't have minds eye it's steady blade
"What is the point of the Sand Barioth?" Well, personally, I like it's armor more than regular Barioth's because of Attack up M and Evade Extender, not to mention the 15 gem slots in the armor, so I could easily gem in Attack up L and Speed sharpening (btw, not entirely related, but back in MH3U I had a Psychic+11 OO_ charm, so that added Auto Tracker in the mix).
I felt everytime rathalos fly off the ground and stuns you with it's wind and then a fireball straight away before you can recover was very cheap :/
+Puddingfuzz dont forget its homing poison stab.
+David Bruder yeah, that damn attack is definitely another reason I just didn't think od
I'm just like since when did Ratholos get so hard?
that is literally los in every my game ever, not just 4u
+Jan M Thank you.
As i said the monster hunter series is very near and dear to me, as it got me through a time in my life where i honestly didn't know if i still wanted to continue living, i had just moved shcools and did a whole year where all i did was grind slowly though textbooks and get made fun because i played a game called fire emblem awakening, which, as the other students put it was
"a stupid time waster for weeaboo assholes" that summer, i strolled into gamester with my brother and bought a used copy of tri, that was the beginning of the best summer of my life, and subsequently the summer i burned out my the hard drive on my wii. someday, when i get a decent desktop and a good video editor, i play to upload some monster hunter content. but until then i'll just have to sit here watching one of my favorite youtubers.
Sorry this was a little bit long winded. Congrats on 1k subs crash,
-Zerk
+ZerkMonsterHunter 4 dammit, i meant to say gamestop
+CRASHX500 What are your top 10 least favourite monsters?
+Dominic Butters Well there aren't that many monster in monster hunter I dislike but I can name a few in no particular order. they are:
nibelsnarf, congalala, Nargacuga, Lagombi, gypceros, Arzuros, plesioth, gigginox (FUCKING RED POISON!!!), rajang and the tigrex.
I'm honored to be on the list.
DonTrump huh.
+Lagiacrus why I never let me break your horns? :c
Hahahahahahahahahahaha.
+Lagiacrus I never went up agent you but I will In monster hunter generations, if your in it. So if you are cans I farm you
Hahahahahahahahahahaha.
Generation 3 was so good. I swear every list has Lagiacrus, Zinogre, Deviljho and Brachydios. And from other generations, Gore Magala and Rathalos are also pretty much obligatory.
Those guys plus the new glavenus and a couple elder dragons are my list
Dang it... Now I don't feel creative about Brach being my favorite. My new favorite is Yian Kut-Ku.
Alfonso ST Rathalos is one of my least favorites tbh
And I've always thought Zinogre was overrated. But that's just my opinion. I love almost every monster in this series. And I love to hate the ones that I hate.
Aether Kitsune iipqhbh1wwprssffçdddsccg
Alfonso ST What's this? A mention of Deviljho with no JhoJho memes?
What is the world coming to?
When i first met rathalos I really annoy with his move but when i learn his attack patterns its really fun to fight with it... but my favorite is nargacuga...
I think my favorite monster in the series by far is the Kushala Daora, followed by Shagaru/Gore Magala and then Rathalos
Love'd you're list and I love Monster Hunter.
Ok my favourite: the Zinorge. Phenomenal theme song, amazing armour and weapons and such a rewarding fight
Unlike a lot of youtubers, I quite like your countdowns. Keep up the good work! : )
Here's my feedback on the video.
3:14 SPIDERS AREN'T INSECTS
3:39 Nercylla was easy.
8:07 When Zamitros uses his armor, flinching him IS THE EASIEST THING EVER
10:28 When I was fighting Gravios in Black Rock Down, my reaction was: *HOLYFUCKITSADEVILJORUNFORYOURLIVES* *hm meybe i can get a powertalon or armortalon* RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN*
15:38 The fight is mainly about getting on top of him, and wailing on him with a Charge Blade or a Great Sword or a weapon with good damage output and occasionily shooting some Ballistas and Cannonballs and Binders and getting a ' nator when he gets too close to the front of the boat, because he basically stands still half of the fight.
27:58 The ending twist in Tri was pretty interesting
31:13 I love Gore Magala, but HOLY FUCK THAT FIGHT WAS FRUSTRATING.
+Simon Levenston Thanks very much I'm glad you enjoy my work :)
Np :) You don't have to take everything i said to heart, mostly because im only HR 9 in the Caravan and my playstyle is....... different..............
+Simon Levenston lol that wasn't his play style, it was random other utubers
I know, but maybe it's *my* playstyle
+Simon Levenston
Silver Los is just basic Los with armor and less flighty AI, at least in 4U.
"Taking out the boogeyman with a sledgehammer to the face"
I've heard that somewhere before
SomecallmeJohnny said it in his review of metroid fusion.
'If you live in Australia these things are out to kill you.' That's just what I wanted to hear mate.
BLAZINGKNIGHT Thanks for the apology and for being so pleasant and understanding about it :) i appreciate that.
Not a problem, I appreciate you pointing out the mistake I made as well as being very relaxed about the issue. :)
I love you dude I may be 11 but I look up to you man
Thanks very much i'm flatter that you do.
does anyone realize that the brachydios basically covered in creeper spores
Dahren's 12000 cm. You said meters. Imagine that for a sec. :3
Oh lord!
+James McDaid (Coolcat) No... .. I'm not going to say it.
+James McDaid (Coolcat) He'd be the real world eater.
This isn't a Drill! I repeat: THIS ISN'T A DRILL!!!!
BUT THIS IS. *Holds up Seltas hammer*
The very first time deviljo showed up I had excessive levels of "NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE!"
My experience when I hunted the Savage Deviljho was "Oh crap I'm basically fighting the Deviljho only it's now a 100x worse I'm either going to die or barely win." And this is due to the fact the Savage Deviljho is in basically perma-rage mode.
This is a pretty good list, well researched, explained and performed. I look forward to watching your other countdowns.
Lol I thought #1 would be the Kelbi bow, because stun-locking.
You should get more subs for the effort you put in your vids :)
I could not agree more!
the abisal Lagiacrus is a 100 year old Ivory or normal Lagiacrus.
Wow she's that old. For something 100-years old she's definitely earned her reputation if I recall the cut-scene when you first see her correctly she's so powerful she's got the regular Lagiacrus swimming away in terror.
Awesome video! Really enjoy watching this!
So is it just me or is the Rathalos overrated? The fight is okay, kinda boring and bs at times but what fight isn't, and the equipment is great but i feel like other monsters just do things better. May be just me
@King Ghidorah75 dude come down that just he opinion no need to get mad over it and me personally the overrated word don't bother me that much no offense or anything
also opinion is an subjective think it can't be mostly right or mostly wrong, that is just how they feel
I love Gore's switch axe so much, It's a bad ass scythe in axe mode!
No Tigrex? or Tigrex subs species?
Tiggy was on his most hated list...
Happy holidays crashx500! Thanks for all the amazing videos! Let the countdown for fire emblem fates begin!
No love for Nargacuga and Rajang???
+Raimundo Pilotto Right? No mention of my favorite monster, the Dalamadur.
+Raimundo Pilotto
Fuck Rajang.
+Raimundo Pilotto Don't like fight him... And ugly design. But yes, it's really a challenge to kill him ! Nargacuga is one of the best monster of the game : I hope see him back in mhx
+Frejito the Emissary of Joy Yeah :D thanks for the info ;)
Those two were on his most HATED list...
Cool video. I've never actually played any of the Monster Hunter games, so this was all new to me lol. I'm really looking forward to seeing what your next Fire Emblem video is going to be :3
3 to 4 THOUSAND metres! i wouldnt even want to hunt a kelbi that big!!!
yeah he forgot its CENImeters.
Jhen/Dahren Morhan: 11446.5 cm
Dalamandur: 44039.7 cm
Whoa.
I am very honored to be mentioned on this list of yours.
My top 10 :
5. Lagiacrus - He was truly a shocking experience :D
4. Seregios - Who does not like him?
3. Nerscylla - Just because I like Spiders, and way he fights!
2. Bazelgeuse - I know, some MHW don't agree, but he can be useful, and I like his weapons.
1. Mizutsune - ...I really, REALLY love its design, battle, music... ...Shortly, EVERYTHING!
wyvern are really just a category of dragons.
cool list bro! enjoy it greatly! you deserve the sub that you have earned.
I going to cross my fingers your next list will be the top 10 Avatar/Robin support conversations in FE awakening.
if not, well I am fine w it
lookong forward to more of your countdowns!
I hope we get Monster Hunter stories too in western, and I want to see a tameable seregios and name it "pinecone"
Brachydios armor? You mean Evangelion armor right?
I can picture it now: "put on the fucking armour Shinji"!!!
+CRASHX500 lol
You ever considered calling the zamtrios the Big Zam when it inflates?
That whole opening sequence to the countdown had me getting CHILLS
i hate the rathalos
he is flying all the time
has an aimbot poision claw attack thing
it took me 27 tries to get 1 plate for the his armor set
and he is just a normal dragon
"!!!!!you said it your self "is that an electric dragon? FUCK YES
i just find him soooooo annoying to fight
and the fact that he will be in every monster hunter game just annoys me even more
Good thing someone agrees with me.
Plus the 'roar -fireball to the face true combo' shenanigans
Im sry thats just way am
How about meh
Rathian Queen of the Lands h...h..i *the faptail is the reson im nervous* *hides tail*
Well, damn. O_O
Also, Shagaru has my favorite song in the game.
The Gunlance I use whenever I need more fire power (pun intended) and to break parts that are harder to destroy, like the Rajang's horns or Shah Dalamadur's back.
+Spencer Blais But Gore is a new-ish monster still, I'm sure your friend can't be right 100% of the time.
I was sure you were gotta troll on #7 by mentioning the Kirin after saying the huge monsters of the game.
Technically it is a big monster as it is bigger than your Hunter.
the coolest thing about jho weapons is that, as well as weapons from some other monsters, represent the features of the monster you have to get the materials from. In jho's case, they lack of sharp but have some tasty damage; if you use them with artisan+1, youll run out of purple sharp and you will have to sharpen them often, exactly the same that happens with deviljho and its hunger. It will cease its rage often to eat.
The rathalos is the number one monster in monster Hunter yeah
Tommy Yousey thx
There are sooooo many things wrong with this
1. Subspecies are technically different monsters have different attacks and have DIFFERENT ARMOR AND WEAPONS which was a factor in this list.
2. It's very common for people to make armors last a long while
+TheHasazin also, alot of his entries for tri and 3u are not only the same as but also sound similar to a list made by a youtuber named kalimdori
Duelboy123 maybe they just have similar tastes
My top 5 favorite! (It is really hard to decide these...)
5. Nargacuga (Fun fight, nice gear.)
4. Mizutsune (We are related. It has a great theme, beautiful design, interesting attacks, and pretty gear.)
3. Zinogre (CrashX500 already explained this.)
2. Yian Kut-Ku (ERMAHGURRR, It's so derpily adorable.)
1. Brachydios. (Brach is just plain awesome.)
I beat the nerscylla without dying on my first try. it's not that hard
Yeah but I think he means that for new players
i was one
comments like you are so dumb and annoying
just don't give it the height advantage and you'll be fine
When I said new players I meant new people to the franchise
This was a really well made list and I found that some of your choices to be amazing cough*Brachydios*cough and even though there were a few mishaps they were just a slip of the tongue good job and I'll now be a subscriber due to the great content you produce. My personal list of favorites would be
+Bakushin S Fuck the Diablos.
I hate that thing.
ESPECIALLY in 3U.
a super sayian lightning wolf, FUCK YEAH!!!
Oh yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessss
Just a comment, you sound so much like Tactical Imperialis to me. Btw love your videos. You got me to try out fire emblem
The list is cool, but I don't appreciate you not giving credit to the people whose videos you used :)
20:51 a fanged wyvern that stands up and becomes a werewolf? Where have I heard that one before? Kinda crazy you accidentally predicted it.
39:24 FEMINISTS TRIGGERED
The Rathalos is my favourite.
It looks badass, the fight is always fun & the armour & weapons look & are incredible.
It was the original flagship monster from the very first game & was the first real challenge in it.
It has appeared in every single Monster Hunter game since & as such I have gained quite a lot of good memories around it.
Thx
I actually have a bit of an idea of monsters myself (And yes i will do concept art)
First is the Icthycus, which is an underwater dinosaur swordfish, it darts around in the water, tries to harm you with it's nose and even shoots sharp spikes at you.
I, as well, am honored to be on the list!
I feel as if hunting monsters, and upgrading stuffz is a common idea, but Capcom has made this idea simply spectacular.
Thank you.
that moment when he says bring your potions and you have a ptsd flash back to the time you were fighting apex tigrex and forgot potions
I like this count down and why you may like the Rathalos the most I hate him with a burning passion but to be fare most of this hate comes from the silver rathalos you have no idea how frustrating his fight was for me but other then that I think your list is a good one
My top 20 favorite Monster Hunter Monsters
20. Great Maccao
19. Qurupeco
18. Malfestio
17. Diablos
16. Rajang

2. Astalos
1. Glavenus
"If you think Ridley's too big for smash, this thing is too big for Monster Hunter!"
Raviente and Dalamadur: *How cute*
Sure thing it's the volcano theme from Monster Hunter Tri, here is the link: th-cam.com/video/K6roX3zSIVU/w-d-xo.html
...Ive never seen the seregios attack other monsters. In fact, in the quest where it showed the seregios fighting the red rathalos, the moment i appeared, both started fighting me together and i was really hoping to finally have a 3-way fight. In my experience, seregios ignores other monsters, just like all monsters do
Now that generations is out, Great Maccao and All of the flagship monsters are on my list just because all of them are so good! :D

the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw the brachydios is that it's blood/slime is similar to a xenomorphfrom alien except it explodes instead of melt
Great list, but why was there no mention of Subspecies MOST of the time?
"sudden lighting coming down from the skies while casually walking around like it own the fucking places."
Bit of an odd one but can you perhaps try top 10 Fire Emblem Architypes?
I'm surprised you didn't show footage of Rathalos from earlier games or the MH frontier games.

Omg, someone actually acknowledge chameleos.
15:10
I think you meant centimetres
So is Deviljho basically like the gogols from Xenoblade Chronicles? I haven't actually played these games myself.
have u guys played monster hunter explore yet lol and nice video #subscribed 😊
CRASHX500 forgot to mention that Seregios weapons also have the unique ability to either resharpen or reload automatically whenever you roll while you have the weapon unsheathed. ;)
you forgot to mention how the Seregios blade weapons can regain sharpness when you dodge with them unsheathed which almost completely eliminates the need to use whetstones, as you could just continuously dodge to regain sharpness.
I didn't realize that you knew iceman. He's one of my favorite youtubers
True, but those who are new comers are going to find that one super difficult.
Nice list I do have one or two things that kinda annoys me
1: rathalos is very cheap on me and he always gets me with the poison claw attack but still a good monster
2: seregios armor doesn't have minds eye it's steady blade
"What is the point of the Sand Barioth?" Well, personally, I like it's armor more than regular Barioth's because of Attack up M and Evade Extender, not to mention the 15 gem slots in the armor, so I could easily gem in Attack up L and Speed sharpening (btw, not entirely related, but back in MH3U I had a Psychic+11 OO_ charm, so that added Auto Tracker in the mix).
21:47 So am i the only one whose fight or flight instinct still gets instantly triggred by that song?
