Deviljho - Theme song, and the premise of a prehistoric-dino looking monster that will actually resort to eating it's own tail to maintain it's body heat requirement is the most badass thing i can think of. 6. Seltas Queen - Such an amazing monster, resembling an armored tank that also resorts to cannabilism, and uses its spawn as a kind of "turret". 5. Zinogre - Peerless hunter and keeps you on your toes. goes into rage mode that resembles super saiyan. 4. Lao Shan Lung - First ever elder dragon fight in the series, It feels EPIC to repel and finally kill this massive beast. And not to mention awesome theme and the first dragonator instance. 3. Rathalos - The "king of the skies". apex predator. 2. Fatalis - Old school bias here, but nothing beats your first fatalis fight. And back in MH for ps2, it wasn't easy to reach... 1. RAJANG. I've never played Monster Hunter before. I've wanted to, and I've watched other people play it, but I clicked on this video fully anticipating that I wouldn't watch the full half hour because of this. I was wrong. I don't know if it was your pacing, directing, editing, or the monsters themselves certainly deserve some credit, but I was so completely lost in this video, I hardly realized it had ended. +NoName13Thirteen Good question. Now in my opinion it could go either way, as in one of them fucks up in the slightest and it is pretty much dead, since they are pretty even. Dala may be resistant against Ravientes fire attack (yes it has those) but Rav has (fluff wise) REALLY thick shells. Now if we take the game and circumstances into the equation Dala would probably loose. Not because it's weak but because Rav is made for Frontier and is a multi-party encounter. This means that up to 16 hunters fight against it and it still takes freaking long to die, it can apparently take up to 3 (in game) days to kill it no prove here so don't quote me on it. Those same hunters vs Dala? Short fight. So gamewise Rav would probably stomp (heh) Dala but fluffwise it would be most likely really close.
Okay, with that in mind, what if it's a Dalamadur or Shah Dalamadur at the same level of power as the average Raviente. With the odds evened out, a Shah Dalamadur has harder skin, plus more firepower--it can literally carve flames from the earth.

The sand creature reminds me of the Red-Eye boss from Lost Planet 2, except you were on a train going through the desert and the monster was more like a giant sand worm.
Well, the fight against Lao was simply hit, hit, climb up a bridge, set bombs, jump of, hit use draganator, repelled. If you go back to him, he is very boring in my opinion.

Don't know if you know this, but don't stick the bombs in Jhen's mouth. Even though his mouth is his weakpoint, the bombs do fixed damage regardless of where they explode. I personally find it more useful to either place them on his tusks or at the cracks in his spine.
Kalimdori, I have to say that your video is amazing, very well edited and scripted. I would suggest that you try to improve your narration by talking more expressively, I think that would improve your videos a lot. It's just my opinion, as I said earlier your video is great man :)

I gotta say that my favorite monster's music has got to be Kushala Daora. As for my favorite monster, that would go to Rajang if I hadn't gotten so tired of him on 4u. I've killed 91 times, so far, on that game. Since I'm so tired of him, I gotta give the award to Lao Shan (Lao Shan Lung more precisely). Sure it wasn't the most action packed fight but something about wailing on his head through the first 3 zones and trying to time the jump onto his back perfectly to lay the bomb down just felt so satisfying to me. And omg that last zone where the monster hunter theme begins to play!! Such an epic feeling. Oh and I like the color blue lmao

Regarding the Qurupeco, thing about it is that I'm sure those things on its wings are its bones. Scientifically speaking, their either made of the same things flint stones r made of or something else that makes static.
I focused on getting blast weapons from Hellblade Glaive-anus before anything else, only because i have no idea what weapons i should make and i know that blast works well against anything, so i may as well use them in the meantime :P
Man I wish they would bring back the Dire Miralis. Absolutely LOVED that fight. Especially since the music is a remixed and badass version of the monster hunter theme
Your favorite monster is an invisible Narga? I too enjoy punishment! Its a shame that you didn't finish freedom unite. There is an elder dragon called the chameleos that pioneered the invisibility. It's very satisfying to see it go down.

Well, the fight against Lao was simply hit, hit, climb up a bridge, set bombs, jump of, hit use draganator, repelled. If you go back to him, he is very boring in my opinion.

Don't know if you know this, but don't stick the bombs in Jhen's mouth. Even though his mouth is his weakpoint, the bombs do fixed damage regardless of where they explode. I personally find it more useful to either place them on his tusks or at the cracks in his spine.
Kalimdori, I have to say that your video is amazing, very well edited and scripted. I would suggest that you try to improve your narration by talking more expressively, I think that would improve your videos a lot. It's just my opinion, as I said earlier your video is great man :)

I gotta say that my favorite monster's music has got to be Kushala Daora. As for my favorite monster, that would go to Rajang if I hadn't gotten so tired of him on 4u. I've killed 91 times, so far, on that game. Since I'm so tired of him, I gotta give the award to Lao Shan (Lao Shan Lung more precisely). Sure it wasn't the most action packed fight but something about wailing on his head through the first 3 zones and trying to time the jump onto his back perfectly to lay the bomb down just felt so satisfying to me. And omg that last zone where the monster hunter theme begins to play!! Such an epic feeling. Oh and I like the color blue lmao

Greatr video, but lower your game audio in the future, had trouble hearing you often.

I focused on getting blast weapons from Hellblade Glaive-anus before anything else, only because i have no idea what weapons i should make and i know that blast works well against anything, so i may as well use them in the meantime :P

Your favorite monster is an invisible Narga? I too enjoy punishment! Its a shame that you didn't finish freedom unite. There is an elder dragon called the chameleos that pioneered the invisibility. It's very satisfying to see it go down.
Funny thing, the Jhen Mohran is my favorite monster from 3U, but is only my 3rd favorite monster in the series.
