    10440 is a game changer. Short distance yes but it can't compete with throw.

      @PardonMyEnglish  ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Good point. The i3t with 10440 also cannot compete when it comes to runtime. Still cool to see that little light perform so well for its price and size/weight class, though!

    Yes you can put a slightly higher volt cell, but you’re altering the design. I recommend to check your running time when using or you probably melt the circuit board inside.Great lights I own a few of them. 👍

      @@TG1980 yes sir it takes it like a champ 🏆 I'm daily using the stainless steel i3t with a10440 and it loves it. The only one I would be careful with is the carbon fiber version, I don't know how well it would dissipate the heat. It would work fine you would just have to make sure it don't over heat. Is there a way to eliminate the low mode making it high mode only ? Like the old stream light microstream

    • @PardonMyEnglish
      @PardonMyEnglish  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Good question. Unfortunately there is no way to remove the low mode on the i3T. I will say that the low mode when using a 10440 is about as bright as the high mode is when using a AAA battery.
      Using a 14500 in the i5T does remove the low mode but the light gets hot quickly, so it is not recommended by Olight.

    • @PyroAficionado
      @PyroAficionado 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You can reprogram the board so that it goes high mode first. That’s about as close as you can get to removing the low mode.

  • @SoCalKev

    If you have the i3t plus and i5t plus you can run a enlongated cell from acebeam 10900 or from Nicron 10840 or you can run a 10440+ Dummy Cell and a 14509+ dummy cell! That’s what I use on my cateye kinetic tight rear lights they put out more lumens then their stated 150 lumens.

  • @randomescu
    @randomescu 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I bought an i5t eos, StarDust but i dont like it. The switch hard to press and the body is too long. Its probably the same for i3...
    Imo they should continue with the former L15 and S1A Baton AA powered, with magnetic tail and side switch.
    Also, the sustained output time on high is laughable.
    But i love these one from them: Baton4, Seeker4Pro, iMini2, Javelot Mini. I also dislike the Baton3ProMax. It get hot very fast on high. Small head flashlights with high lumen output are bad.

    Do you think this would be a bad idea with a titanium version of this light?

    • @PardonMyEnglish
      @PardonMyEnglish  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Good question. The titanium version would probably not handle the heat the same as the aluminum version. I believe aluminum is more heat conductive.

    • @TheMagicalSock
      @TheMagicalSock ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the super quick reply. I’m gonna pick up the titanium version they’re releasing tonight.
      Titanium is not nearly as good a conductor as aluminium, so I feel like I may do some heat damage to the emitter if I try to up the output. Though the light does go a lot longer before stepping down than I would guess.
