    Lots of pros will tell you to rub them shiney baits dull.
    Sand cast molds I have.
    The ES 5 and 6 inch Senko molds which are pretty much identical to Gary Yamamoto Senko's.
    The ES 4.5 inch Beaver Bug.
    The ES 3.5 inch Ripper
    Billet molds I have.
    The Caney Creek croaker (Do-it).
    Epic jerkbait.
    Bait Molds finesse worm.
    AI jerkbait open pour.
    The billet molds all shoot great and do laminates well and catch lots of fish!
    My Do-it ES molds are all proven, solid baits. I have caught more bass on them than any other bait I make. When I go out I have one of each bait I make tied on. I fish them through the same areas.
    The best one is the ES Beaver Bug. My PB @ 11.3lb came on it in March 2020. But it's best because it can be rigged and fished more ways than all the rest.
    I'm sure bass don't care one way or another. It's rigging and presentation.

      That’s rad man! I think they all will catch fish. The hard part is that a lot of tackle craftsman take pride in the presentation, and the cnc makes a difference there.

    How many ways can you guys rig a "Beaver" bait?

    • @MattLunaFishing
      @MattLunaFishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tons of ways! Can go on all jigs, flip it, drag it, Carolina rig, Texas, all kinds of ways.

      Thanks for watching and I’m glad you like the channel! What do you mean by squid skirt? Can you tell me a specific bait you’re referring to?

    If you take a toothbrush and lightly coat the rock molds or essential series molds every third time it will really smooth out plastic look and inhances the smooth pour.

    Maxscent baits are all the rage and they are dull and rough. Believe you are correct regarding texture. The fish don't care. And actually for someone like me who is a big proponent of scent products. The slightly rougher texture should hold scent better.
    Also there are many people who like to take their salt impregnated baits and stretch them and roughen the surface prior to fishing.
    Smooth is to catch the fisherman!
    Thanks for the video

      I agree! Smooth is to catch fisherman! The roughing up of baits is the Randy blauket deal!

    Paint the cast & you get slicker baits.

      An easier way to do that is with Pam cooking spray!

    I pour for only myself so the Sand cast mold is plenty good for me.
    I do like CNC a lot more but again it’s a no brained since cost is an issue me
    Since I’m not making a dime.

      @MattLunaFishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Right on man! I think CNC catches more fisherman!

    there is no diffrace , if you ever pulled a craw out of the river its not glossy , i have the 3.5 swimbait and by buddy bought himself a same mold just a diffrent size for 5 times what i pay for and we put the baits in the test there was no difference in bites.

      That’s awesome! Glad to hear that. It’s good they made both molds because some people are sticklers for a cnc!
