      Also please don’t make the same mistake that I did and only start fasting when you’re 18 or older 😫😫
      I remember being lightheaded all the time and my insomnia wasn’t helping. Just eat. And also get enough sleep. If you don’t, it gets pretty hard to tell when you’re hungry or full (I’ve been there and still am). Learn from my mistakes.
      If you’re not 18 yet it’s alright, you’re still growing and need all the nutrients you can get. These rules still apply even when you’re not fasting. 18 is still a young age, so don’t feel like you’re “missing out” or “falling behind” if you can’t fast at your age. I’d recommend exercise if you’re really looking to be healthy before 18. But if you really just want that dream body, follow these rules and you’ll be in good shape. Don’t eat too much or too little, listen to your body

      @@gamerbutnotforrealtho7834 if you get lightheaded or you feel like it might be decreasing your energy throughout the day, then definitely. Even if you aren’t experiencing any of these, there are better ways to lose weight than intermittent fasting at a young age. Exercise is good, and eating healthy. Having fun throughout your journey is a very good motivator, so don’t have it feel like a chore, but rather a way to better yourself and lead a healthy, clear minded life.

    for those who think they cant: try the 14 hour fast. simply eat between 10am~8pm most of the time you are sleeping, you might actually start sleeping the 8 hours you need! it helped me control my weight and maintain it! you can still have the three meals, in case you are one of those people that dont have much energy in the morning and need breakfast!

      also, a little update, your body will slowly br more and more used to fasting! frim 14-10 I went to the 16-8, and currently I am on the 18-6!

      I was wondering if 6:30 to 4:30 would work? Cause I have school and the bus arrives at 7. Rn I'm having summer break so it's not necessarily but I figured it'll be hard to break habit and despite being provided lunch at 12 at school I doubt my parents would allow me to go to school without breakfast

    I was always hungry and had snacks every hour IF seemed impossible for me but ever since i started i dont feel like eating all the time it helped with my fake hunger a lot

      @@lilydarak3368 lmao no I’m speaking from personal experience here - totally appreciate the care in your reply it’s so sweet - but I’m constantly fluctuating between dehydrated and barley just enough water and for whatever reason often confuse my need for water as need for food :/ I’ve never heard of it being used in diet culture or anything like that honest, i was just giving a suggestion based on my own experiences :)

      Same! When I learned what intermittent fasting was, I realised that that's what I was doing for years without realising it, and that's how I was able to maintain a very stable weight, but since covid hit and the way we study changed, and so I gained a few pounds :(

    I've also lost 9kg from intermittent fasting but also remember to drink lots of water and if you're really craving something, just eat but only a small amount. The important thing is to have a good relationship with food.

      @@成如 it's basically not eating for a period of time to avoid overeating. People usually fast for 16 to 18 hours but feel free to adjust according to your own needs. By fasting, your body will have enough time to digest the foods and burn the remaining calories. This is just a simple explanation but if you want more info, there's tons of helpful videos on TH-cam ^.^

    Omg your food looks so yummy! I wish I could IF, but I have GERD and it gives me acid reflux to not eat for extended periods of time. Also, I work in the hospital (7am to 7pm) and it’s very physically demanding so I have to have a protein shake at 5am, then eat another breakfast during one of my breaks between 10am and 11am, lunch at 2pm, and dinner when I get home at 8pm. I’d probably faint at work if I waited until my lunch break to eat. 😅 But this gave me so many meal ideas and all of the meals look so balanced!!

      you can try eat at your breaks on 10 - 11 am and dinner before you got home, im sorry if this not suits your schedule , its just my suggestion

    Intermittent fasting is hard for me because of my job so I can't fast 16:8 but I can do 13:11 sadly. But girl the food you eat looks so good and I'm the same with bread I like it crispy. Also, I was so used to waiting for Friday for Zoe to upload a video but now we are getting new content even sooner...and girl I'm not complaining :D

    I'm actually a lil bit afraid of doing IF since I've got ED, like I'd literally throw up even if I just eat a little, but I constantly feels hungry so I tend to snack, and maybe that's why I gain some weight this year. But, since you have or had ED too, I'd like to try, THANKS ZOE FOR SHARING

    What i do is when i dont have school; i eat ‚breakfast‘ at 11pm and around 2-3pm i have a small snack like dried fruit and healthy fats (nuts). Around 5 to 6pm I eat my dinner. Then around 7-8pm i eat my fruits. Its not restricting and that way your metabolism does not slow down since its always working.

    Before I knew what intermittent fasting was, I already did it, without knowing it. I do ballet in the evening (3 to 4 times a week), so I can’t eat after 6pm, because eating before doing sport is not a good idea. I also eat slowly and only while eating breakfast and lunch (but enough so I feel full, but not like I over did it). I never struggled with weight or with loosing weight, when I wanted to. (I was always a healthy skinny, but with curves, so I am not flat chested and I have a bigger booty. I have a natural hourglass shape body, which is a curse sometimes hahaha I hate the fact that most of the time either my waist or my bottom part of a trouser does not fit, because it’s to loose (waist part) or to tight (bottom part)).
    Your video is great, I will just do it without meat or fish, because I am a vegetarian. (Who is lactose intolerant 🥲) 😂💖

    I need some help. I reached my weight loss goal but all I see is wobbly fat around my belly and not a lot of muscles. How to tone it and gain muscles? Also I workout a LOT and barely eat (I did eat correctly until like 1.5 weeks ago, that's when stress and unscheduled life hit me and I started to barely eat) so how to start eating more and workout less without gaining weight. I'm terrified of weight gain as I worked SO hard for it. I workout for 1.5-3 hours daily, walk for 1-2 hours, and I try to stay up and active as much as possible, I get around 300-900 cals a day (I often starve myself when I feel heavy and get depressed over a minor weight gain). Help me out please.

      I think she did maybe avoid processed sugar but have fruits too

      According to me I'd say it's ok to eat sugar fruit but eat them less most likely eat like apple green apple banana

      @@wh8wjwhwbwb berries are low in sugar so they are the best. Also, having a banana when it is not fully ripe (ie. it isn’t very soft with lots of brown spots) means it has less sugar in it, so it is better.

      You can eat anything to loose weight! You just need to be in a calorie deficit
