Thanks a lot I really like your Saturn vidz. I did a coolant flush last year after watching your video. I hope you make more 100,000 mile tune up, for the 2002 Saturn Sc2.
Bad bearings and seal which causes it to become loose and than it no longer can hold the coolant. On rwd vehicles you also run the risk of the bearings going out so badly the fan launches itself right into the radiator, that is if you got an engine driven fan. Fwd vehicles dont have an engine driven fan typically which in result would cause your serpentine belt to start travelling back and forth causing it to squeal. Another reason is shown here in the video where the gasket just wears out causing the seal to no longer hold back coolant like it should. And all water pumps typically share the same job, circulate coolant throughout the system so most of them share a simmilar design, hence all of them have an impeller, bearing, and gasket, so symtoms can be shared between vehicles, even the ones driven by the timing belt. Rule of thumb, if theres a leak, and you hear a rattling sound its the water pump, if you see only a leak coming from the pump but no rattling, its a gasket.
Could you tell me what wobble socket or adapter you used? For bolt? Could you get them from top.?

Why would it start leaking in the first place?

Help!... Can I rebuild a power steering pump, on this vehicle? Do you think it's complicated? What's your thoughts?
did i see you using green fluid, all G.M engines use orange color fluid.
Nicely shot with clear instructions. Well done!
thank you
Good video!
Doesn't look like a fun job
