I did that with lurantis with contrary where the strat was to use memento on it and moves like leaf storm and superpower then psych-up with a powerful Pokémon like mewtwo lol

What does no retreat do? Make so you can't switch out?

It boost all stats by +1, it can only be used once and the user cannot switch out. With Simple as the user's ability it becomes +2, but for whatever reason, Mean Look apparently remove the "No Retreat" affect, (the affect that simultaneously trap the user and make the move only usable once.) Allowing the user to use the move No Retreat once more for a +4 Boost in all stats.
