- Blacephalon is by far my favorite Ultra Beast so I really wanted to make a team primarily focused on sweeping with Blacephalon and their signature move Mind Blown, the strats became so heat they melted Showdown's code and I found a bug while testing this team, so I just had to make a vid about the glitch. The last guy was surprisingly smart to at least partially address his blace weakness, even if blace is just so strong that it still did work.
and he pulled off his weakness policy with a transformed pokemon, honestly really smart and impressive moves from the opponent (the ice punch to fish for freeze was the highlight tbh)
He played really well in my opinion. Like triggering his weakness policy with Incins power trip is pretty smart actually. I don't think I would have thought of that in that situation.
Playing around the last team after Blacephalon went down was _super_ cool to watch, especially with the Magic Guard recoil cancel. The Drain Punch trades with Mew and the Metagross not having a neutral hit on Incineroar were just icing, hahaha!
What's incredible about WT's teams is the fact that they are supposedly build around a gimmick, but yet, they always have a built in back-up plans. I really don't know how long someone would need to strategize such a team, but it's really big-brain power.

What's funny is that despite the Alakazam in the thumbnail looking like he could bench press a Machamp, his Pokedex entries mention how his muscles are so weak, he relies on psychic powers to move.

I think the reason why Oranguru took damage from using Instruct to have Blacephalon use Mind Blown again is perhaps because Showdown counts an attack from Instruct as Oranguru's own attack, therefore taking 50% from instructing Blacephalon to use Mind Blown.

I actually made a mind blown blacephalon team that had the rest of the team being suicide fodder for blacephalon with it having a shell bell attached.
That's fun but imo blacephalon needs the damage output from life orb/specs to really snowball
@@WeedleTwineedle it was able to full heal in one use a couple of times which actually caused some people to quit since it took out two of their mons and left it with a ×3 beast boost trigger

My goodness, the strate were just insane. I knew blacephelon was strong but didn't realize magic guard blocked the recoil. Great video!
Magic guard also blocks recoil from moves like brave bird and flare blitz which is why you occasionally see stuff like magic guard talonflame or darmanitan in the almost any ability format
