Thank you!!! I just finished mine! I could not believe how easy it was. I used FLEXIBLE CUTTING BOARD. My wife got them at Ross in California. They were so cheap, and they come in yellow, green, red and blue. 4 in a pack! And you can easily make 2 out of each piece. You could match the color of your jacket ;-) I haven't tried it because I live in Los Angeles where it rains about 4 or 5 times a year, maybe more, but almost never. I just hope I can find it when I need it. It's perfect. I was going to buy one, but I saw a video in which they mention that sometimes, if you don't put them on your bike right, they can fly away without you noticing, so you need to have a way to make another one and let someone else find the one you lost.

thanks so much. I used plastic (projector?) paper, added a print I liked then took a spine from a folder to run down the middle. saved me a tener.

It's not gonna work... the guard is to far away from the back wheel, so the water spray will have spread out too far by the time it hits the guard and will still wet your back

I was thinking... If you have disk brakes, maybe you could modify the design to fit on the seat stay brace ("brake bridge"). I was going to try it with an old milk carton. I expect I'll have to put a bend in it to secure it with a couple of zip ties.

If you wanted to use a cardboard folder, you could cover it completely with the tape to make it waterproof.
