I don’t usually comment on YT videos, but just wanted to ‘thank you’ for producing this video. I was having the same issues you described. After checking, it turns out the supplied adapter I have been using for the last 8 years was only suitable for 4 cameras whereas I am running 6. I have had intermittent issues over the years but recently got very bad. Flickering and turning off. I nearly spent over $600 on a new system until I saw this video, and after purchasing a new suitable adapter for $15 problem solved. Thanks again 🎉.

switch the adapter with an old computer plug and received power back. thx

is that the power cord for the camera or for the antenna ? I have one camera that goes in and out . Thanks

OK I have a different scenario. I have a Lorex DVR and I could hear the fan running I could see a front the blue power label was lit, but I can’t get it to display on my monitor almost as if it’s not turning on Jen for my aunts cancer treatments, is there any then I could do to salvage this unit as I am very tight on money as it is

It is the power adapter.I have replaced 2. There is enough power to see lights and run the fan but not enough to properly run the whole system. I find new used ones at the flea market.Need at least 2.0 amps.
