I've really liked tinkering on this one and I think the owner is going to enjoy the finished product.

If you stand the axle shaft on end with the shaft in a loose hole you can spin the whole shaft. Hold a torch close on the race and the bearing while spinning; they will just fall down the shaft when they expand.

Pretty slick idea. I don't have a torch outfit though sadly. Have tanks... just missing gauges and hoses. I'll snag some one of these days.

@@NotSoGrandGarage yeah I’m pretty spoiled as ii have access to torches at work! It does work well though; I liked your work! I am working on a samurai and haven’t worked on drum brakes since I had a 67 fastback mustang in the 80’s😆

@voxromantic3340 yeah they aren't as bad as most think. Just more springs and clips but pretty simple when you get what everything does.

Ive always liked those little samurai's its worth fixing them up. I was wondering if/when you're going to throw that air over hydraulic harbor freight jack on that press. LOL

For sure... and as far as the press upgrade... it wont take long. Lol. For now, it works but it can certainly be improved.

My 87 suzuki i hit brakes pulls to the left.

I'd bet the front right caliper is stuck or not working. Left is doing all the work.

@@NotSoGrandGarage dont think they are stuck

@@christophermunoz205 check the pads and make sure they aren't binding up. Pull the caliper and make sure the piston moves freely. If all looks good, replace the rubber hoses to both fronts and bleed everything.

@@NotSoGrandGarage just did new pads rotors. Ok.

@@christophermunoz205 Did the problem just start after changing pads and rotors? The rubber lines will break down over time and hold pressure on the caliper when you release the pedal causing it to hang. Check the pad contact points and if all looks good and the piston in the caliper isn't sticking, I'd replace the soft lines to the calipers.
