Every time I watch one of your videos, I wonder why they don’t have a million views. The cinematography alone gets me excited, and your analysis is spot on. Bravo

Your experience confirms to me that we don't want 100% immersion. Even in a movie theater, we want to be aware of the other people, the space, even that annoying exit sign (or maybe not that).

Great analysis on the flight usability. Haven’t seen one like this! 👍 Listening to your experience, wonder how the Quest 3 experience would differ. I feel it would be a much better option. Do you own one? They’ve really come a long way and now the os (not as refined as AVP) allows a lot of MR customization in terms of windows and displays. You could use one of numerous apps to mirror the laptop so it’s all possible. And the best part is that it’s easier to travel with hands down. Maybe next trip, don’t use the Apple travel case and just stuff it in the bag. According to some test reviews, the glass on AVP turns out to be extremely rugged, so might be worth a try to at least help mitigate the space issue.

Agree with the awkwardness on planes. That said, I’ve found movies to be THE killer AVP use case, on planes and off. It’s where I get 99% of the value.

I can imagine that the experience could be different in business or first class and only in a long haul flight where the time being immersed wouldn’t matter. It would also depend on the value and time constraints of the work to be completed. I have heard others mention that flight work is much better with no light seal and no environments.
The only laptop I ever successfully used in economy class was an 11 inch MacBook Air. Apple seems to refer users to iPad Pro/Air for that use case.
Look forward to your review. I personally think this Vision Pro is for Scientists, Engineers and Architects and that Apple knows this and while they mention it, they want to try and create the illusion it is mainstream with the hope that it will create coiled up demand for their inevitable mainstream Air product. This has created another set of users, media consumption geeks.
