As a train artist, teacher and a Vietnam War Combat Veteran (2/502 Inf, 101st Airborne with 9 years Army) I grew up LOVING Sci-Fi and on recon missions (on the DMZ, the "A Shau Valley" area) I was the team sniper ... which meant I would move to a location I could cover my fellow Troopers. The rear command unit would send out cigs and sometimes paperback books... I'd always grab the Sci-Fi books... to kill time listening for any sounds. I've been in war and I've ended men's lives and also lost some fellow Troopers .... this short video brought tears to my eyes .... it's what war is about, loss!
There was no welcome home, just a quiet flight into Chicago ... and the whole airport was seemly unaware of all the death and carnage. At least this touches two of those. I took out a trail watcher, who was to slow so I ended him before he ended one of my guys. In his pocket was a leather picture holder with a pic of a woman in a traditional Vietnamese dress holding a baby .... My wife was pregnant when I left for that war, and had just given birth to my son 3 weeks before this happened. Looking at that photo I lost my humanity, excellent film...thank you.
I hear you loud and clear same forward recon, you are not then nor now alone.
I've always been a sci-fi/adventure fan but as I've grown older (I'm pushing 70) I've become more and more open to the emotional content of a film and the deeper psycho/ philosophical side of stories and for that very reason I've been attracted to your films. I haven't quite figured out the backstories of the different factions but I'm completely open to picking that up piecemeal as the films progress because, well, because that's how life works. Anyway, you have my blessings to continue (not that you need the permission of a foolish old man...), that's for sure and I'm going to go check out the rest of your films if I can find them and I do that without any fear of being disappointed, you folks are doing an outstanding job, especially if your goal is to get me sitting forward in my chair one moment, and dissolved in a pool of tears the next...
(*P.S. Let your actors know that they're acting circles around the pompous, overpayed Hollywood bums we're forced to watch in the so-called blockbuster movies they cram down our throats nowadays...bravo!*)

@@joggersgunajog My friend, it's not my place to say this but you seem kind of cynical and fatalistic for a guy who's only 39. Of course, when I read your post a dozen questions leaped to mind, like: CAN you get a liver, are you on the list? If you COULD get one are you saying you'd turn it down? A friend of mine got a liver and his quality of life shot right up to 100% after about a year-and-a-half and he's alive to this day, as far as I know. But even more than all that (You don't owe me an explanation so tell me to fuck-off if you want to.) I'm curious, don't you WANT to live, are you in pain, have you lost faith with the world?
Finally, and this is a sensitive subject, I know but I've gone this far, so: What is causing your liver to fail, are you an alcoholic (I am.)? However, despite my failings I STILL want to live, in fact, surrounded by a world that has become corrupted and dangerous and nearly hopeless I still cling to life like an infant to it's mothers breast, I don't want to die, although I understand if young people these days, or actually, ANY people these days see nothing but hardship and destruction and storm-clouds on the horizon but I'm kind of a self-taught historian and I know that we've been through worse than this...mankind has dodged the bullet several times over the last 100,000 years and we can dodge it again if we must, although this time around it's beginning to seem like it will be a more deliberate and self-inflicted wound we're going to face but, still, it's not a completely hopeless situation...grim but not hopeless.
Anyway, sorry for getting all philosophical on you but that's just me and you're permitted to just ignore me if you want, my curiosity does not require that you explain anything...quite frankly I don't recall ever hearing someone express a desire or a plan to cut their life short...it seems like a tragic place to be in your own head...what does your family say and (last question.) do you believe in God? There I go again, I've already generated another half-dozen questions but I'll just leave things where they are and not pressure you, feel free to respond, or not...Peace.

Killed her liver over a toothache 2 days later I had to make the decision to kill my daughters mom and my wife, this is after her mom died 7 months before and my mother a week after that, found my mother dead in the morning and she was my best friend and just so many more years of 💔,my liver and spleen have been enlarged for years now I have Hep C and years of not living a healthy life hasn't helped ..no im not on list and my only fears are something happening to my kids and surgery especially after my mom had anesthesia awareness and heard other people go through that.. and God panel wouldn't even put down on the list most likely,

Excellent. I appreciate the deep seated conflicts in your universe. It's in a sub genre that often gets under served. You do it justice.
Storyline, characters, world, sound, design, storyboard, costume, makeup, props, cinematography, and development are all well represented. One of the most delightful aspects for me is how you make extensive use of implied context.

It was good film but with so many surplus military helmets available, next time just use those instead of the bicycle helmets full of holes which look really funny for a helmet to prevent bullet and shrapnel wounds. Sometimes those small details that distract a bit but overall, good movie.
I understood the use of bicycle helmets by the civilians that were unable to be issued military equipment. Kinds like a homegrown militia. Therefore it was a small detail that brought realism about a civil war.
@@canufi6my Well, I am not taking away from the movie at all. I suspect "homegrown militia" would forego a plastic bump helmet with holes altogether and either just wear camo/dark hats or maybe even find some old steel "piss pots" like they used in WWII and Vietnam. Interesting side note, some snipers revealed they had a easier time shooting enemy combatants when they had helmets on than when they just had hats. Something about the "target" looks less human when they are all geared up.

THIS IS SO GOOD TOO! My headcanon is this is a modern version of the Star Wars universe set around Mandalorians but they're called Dragoons... It's a reach, I know 😆.

Is it a post apocalyptic world, after mankind nuked itself or invaders and protectors defending mankind, zero birth rate inferred covered all the grounds.
