Understanding the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)

Participants will be able to identify strategies for navigating intersectional, survivor-centered, empowerment-based dynamics with domestic violence survivors within homelessness systems. Participants will walk away with a basic understanding of the history of VAWA, and a basic understanding of housing barriers for survivors of domestic violence.
