As usual mark you showed a excellent tutorial this knot I have litterly pulled my hair out on other tutorials with you first time. That speaks volume about your tutorials thanks for this tutorial and thanks for sharing
Hey! I am using a nylon maul. It is commonly used in leatherwork for stamping, punching holes etc. It is quite affordable. The heavier the better :). Mark
Interesting tying method. I like the structural understanding it shows. Tightening the top box to that extent midway seems like a recipe for tension problems, but ymmv. 8-)
Interesting insight! So far I have had good success with this technique. Like in most knots, it is the tightening and dressing that determines the look of the knot.
@@Paracordguild of course you should do what works for you. For me, however, I find balanced tension comes from carefully removing slack from my knots at bit at a time as evenly as possible. When I’ve over-tightened structurally (ears are a different story 8-) and need to reintroduce slack back, it’s a fraught activity.
Hi my friend. Excepcional work as usual. Only I have a question, please can you tell me where I can get a tool as you show in this video? Thank you in advance
Hi Marco , do you know how to expand this knot ? Do i need to simply repeat the entire knot with the slaq or do i need to expand it on the first part of the knot ?

I dont know where u find the motivation to keep going with knots like these!
Awesome video!
I tied this know and was wondering, what is the mallet or hammer you use to flatten this knot?

I understand. I do this intuitively with many knots. I find doing this systematically quite interesting. Need to pay attention and see how it works!

Hey!
The spike was made by Rick Case over at Utah paracord and supplies.
Have a great day,
Mark
@@Paracordguild Thank you very much my friend! Very kind

I tried to tie this once I failed. This tutorial seems more clear
So ... what DO U DO with this knot? Lol. Thats what i wana know
Knife lanyard, zipper pull etc.
Geez, if I had been responsible for inventing this knot, it would still be unknown today! 🙄
Revenge!
Who disliked this video? What is here that someone could dislike?
They probably could not tighten it and disliked in frustration🤭
They envied the knot when it got mauled...
Too difficult.
