Well done Mark. I remember watching your video, some 5 or 6 yrs ago, on how to dress a Matthew Walker. That helped me quite a bit when I started knotting.
Nice design, I've also found if you leave one end long you can easily girth hitch it to your other key rings and so no metal ring is needed and its secure and super easy to detach when needed, such as taking the house key off the car keys or anything else.
I like that use of a footrope knot for making the final loops of a double ended project. I usually just end up counting strands going each direction and tying a knot with a couple of dummy strands that I replace as I go back through the other direction.
