We want for nothing living in Hua Hin. We moved from the US where we had a very good life and plenty of money, and coming here we’ve compromised nothing in our lifestyle, but have improved our quality of life significantly in terms of experiences. You cannot go wrong here. If you want to meet nice women go to Market Village and just walk up to one you want to talk with. The app ladies here are mostly bar girls and massage girls. Not the way to go. Lots of good educated ladies all over town here.

I own condo's in three different Hua Hin developments. They are full of foreigners married to Thai women that have lasted 10 to 20+ years. its very quiet and foreigners come to stay long term or retire there. Girls looking for green cards are not traveling to Hua Hin looking for bachelor parties, they go to Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, etc.. Always have to be careful, but HH is a great place to meet a family based woman.

I lived in Chiang Mai for 3 years yet Hua Hin is where I plan to retire. You've nailed the feeling down there & don't forget, there's more of the same to explore down that way with Cha-am & Prachuap Khiri Khan close by.

Hua Hin is full of women who have real jobs, and seem to be very high quality on average. Very few working girls so you eliminate that element that other tourist cities have loads of. Best town in all of Thailand for retirement in my opinion.

I spent a year in Phuket and now in Bali for 6 months. Really hard to find a good lady in Phuket, so when I go back I"m going to Hua Hin for sure.
Give Hua Hin a try, you still need to filter out a good lady but it seems a nice place.

@@WalkAboutWayne Thanks Wayne. And to be honest, not much is well here in America's weird and woke riot capital, and it's still going down hill. It's time past time to get out Wayne, but the long term visa situation forThailand or Malaysia is an obstacle. I'm Looking at southern France as the Visa seems possible, but I'd prefer the cost of living in Malay or Thai rather then the the French Riviera, which seems about 30% less than America. If you do any more videos on how and why to escape I can provide some perspectives and reasons that might be worth mentioning.
@@jackoneil3933 Depends what you want for a visa, Jack. I had a retirement visa for 7 years while living in Chiang Mai, then let it expire and went walkabout during the covid fiasco. Now, at the ripe age of 76, I find the health insurance requirement prohibitively expensive so am going to just do the old visa run dance and spend 6 months in KL and 6 in HH.

I'm an old guy (61) but would still prefer Chiang Mai. Not a beach guy so much and more about the food, coffee, and things going on more than women. Heck, I got divorced in 90 and have been single since. Don't know that I'm ready to change that.
Chiang Mai is still my home . I've not seen anythi g yet that beats Chiang Mai. I love the North but I've been very surprised by Hua Hin. I will be returning .

Noticed hua hin and thought it’d be nice to see cause well I don’t see ppl going there majorly. That's a tough one man. DaNang is great, but Vietnam women like the long game (unless you looking for services). Hua Hin is great for finding a girlfriend. It all depends what you want. I would choose Hua Hin.

Hua hin looks good for retirement purposes, more chilled and laid back and nicer than pattaya
I've never been to Pattaya, but from what I've seen, Hua Hin is a much more chilled place. 👍

Regardless where you meet a Thai woman for the first few months don’t give here much money to see what she’s really interested in. That’s what I did with my Thai wife and to this day she does not ask me for money and now we have a beautiful 4 year old daughter. We are planning to move to Hua Hin as they have a number of very good private international schools and the quality of life is good and inexpensive as you can buy a very high quality 3 bedroom home for less than $200,000.
