You're likely not going to be able to take benefit for a measly $300 charitable contribution claim.
It's an itemized deduction and the vast majority of Americans are better suited for the standard deduction.
If you're among the small group of people who do benefit to itemize, then you likely have lots of income and donate regularly to charities/dispose of old household items to be able to claim the charitable contribution deductions.

That's a 50k write off that didn't cost nearly that much. So not only do the rich stay rich, now there's a painting that isn't worth 50k a charity needs to sell. Rich stay rich, poor get poorer

When I was going to college I got a ticket for parking without a parking pass.. it cost me 60$, parking pass for the year was 400$. I kept the ticket and just put it on the windshield everyday, parked in different lots.. they never caught on.

Unethical life hack: whenever you get fuel tell them you work at the same fuel station only say its in a different town. If they ask for a card just say your manager said you only need a store number. 10c per gallon off with an employee discount.

The one about parking at a university is so true.
If you don't register your car don't pay a ticket. They can't track which student it is to threaten to stop your schooling if they don't know who it is.
Granted, after $500 of tickets, they start to check.
Teacher's assistant got screwed at a show we were running.
3 students got tickets cause no one told them we were going to be there all night so we parked by the door where we always do in the private lot.
Well, he wasn't registered, but his license plate had about 25 or 30 tickets or something like that over the years starting back 6 years ago when he graduated our program. So they booted him.
(It was after hours so he couldn't pay to take it off, so they had to take it off and he promised to pay the next morning. Never did. Screw overpriced college parking! whahaha!)
Depends on the size of the university. The university I attend have ACTUAL police officers and they have unrestricted access to NCIC (which is the database that officers use to look up license plates, drivers licenses, etc.)...
Here is what they will do:
They issue you a ticket based on whether you have a student account with your license plate registered. If you don't, then they will look the name of the owner of the vehicle up in NCIC, and will issue a ticket to that individual. If it's your parent, they will receive a ticket in the mail. If it's your name, then they will trace it to the same student name in their university database and just add it to your account.

I've put so much money into parking, not even just at the school but downtown when we are in the theatre the last 2 weeks of every semester, school I can deal with having to walk or paying $8 for a couple hours every once in a while but theatre is $10 a day, every day... But of course, the teachers have access to the lot connected.. Because letting the 3 or sometimes 4 students out of a whopping 6 of us park there is so unreasonable.

If there's self checkout, get multiple of one item, scan only one of them and you walk out with the rest for free. The ppl who check your receipt don't notice the quantity on the receipt

In the end, I only had to pay for the stuff I wanted to steal (which worth like 3 bucks, I guess I did it more for the adrenaline), but the whole situation was super embarrassing. Grab something from the store, go to customer service to return it. They'll inform you that you can't return the item without a receipt, and you can walk out of there without drawing any suspicion.
Never tried it (really not worth the risk in my humble opinion), but I feel it would work.
Theres one I heard from someone that I actually used once and it worked: Reusing old parking tickets by flipping them upside down in the dash or obscuring their real date/time

Umar Aslam free vpn’s are mostly based on each individual user.. meaning that they randomize your virtual location based on another users location. This means that other users can also possibly use your location as their own, bringing huge security risks. (E.g. if another user uses your location and proceeds to hack some gov. There could be legal actions against you)
On the first one, you can also email the authors directly! Most of them receive little compensation for their work so it’s nice to appreciate their work
Return ANYTHING from Costco......worked there for a while, heard/saw a guy returned a 15-year-old play structure for the price he initially bought it. I buy stuff for one time uses all the time. Need straps for a big move, buy em and return em after use, need to clean your gutters out with a pressure washer, buy it and return it the after use, wanna make a smoothie, buy a blender, return it in a week. Only thing you can't do it with is electronics, at least in Canada. They do it because they can afford it, if you cant, abuse it. One of my favourites is to buy a prepaid credit card, use it all up on whatever and then sign up for literally anything that has a free trial. you can’t go into the negatives on a prepaid card so the subscription will just cancel. It’s great for Spotify cuz you get 3 months then you can make a new account

Heres mine: I am used to sleeping in the bed of a pickup truck. With a shell, foam pads, lots of pillows and blankets it can be a cozy place to sleep for two people, and I still had room for luggage. I went to an anime convention 3 times in San Jose, CA, for 2 years I would camp out in my pickup truck a block away from the convention center in a parking garage. Well lit, and reasonably safe. When you walked out of the garage there was a nice park across from the convention center which made it convenient. When I pulled in on a Friday, I'd take the ticket to park, and on Memorial Day monday the parking attendant would have the day off and nobody would be there to collect, so the gate was left up. So I had a free place to sleep and park a block away from a major convention which otherwise would cost several hundred dollars. That worked for 2 of the 3 years, on the third year the parking attendant was replaced with a vending machine that took cash or credit and worked 24/7. Even with paying the all-day parking fee though it was still very cheap.

I worked at the book store in my university. Find out all the rules regarding returning books and due dates to do so. Look at your syllabi of your classes and see what chapters you will need, also, ask around if the professor actually used the book. If your professor will only use a small fraction from the books, buy or rent the book, scan the pages you will need, and return it before the due date. Also! You will be surprised how many books are offered for free online and at the library to borrow at campus or for checkout.
If you eat at a restaurant that has a salad bar, there is a pretty good chance you can just get up and use it and they won't challenge you on it because they don't care enough or don't pay attention to it.
I go to the local gym usually 6 times a week, been like this for 3 years. First year payed for whole membership, since they dont scan the card and everyone knows me in there they suppose I always pay. Havent payed for 2 years.
When I lived in the Netherlands some officers stopped me because the lights on my bike were off, I pretend I didn't knew how to speak Dutch or English - basically just sprout a mix of Spanish and Portuguese (my native language) with some broken English words here and there. My school every semester uploads an entire list of every single student's ID (digits) on their website so you could look for your classes for the semester. Each student also gets 7$ per semester on their ID which they can use to print at the library. I always download these lists so I could get free prints at the library and have been doing it successfully for the past 3 years.

Ed Hollamon well me as a regular person has wrote off union pay as charity because I didn’t know where to fill it out when I was doing my taxes last year and I got all $560 back without having to prove how much much I paid to them. I’ve donated a bunch of my stuff before I moved half way across the country at the end of last year and got a receipt for it so I’m adding itemized deductions to my taxes this year and I am in no way running a business, the government allows you to submit your charity donations as a regular person so that what I’m doing and I write off all my school expenses so I get half of that back too

While backpacking In Australia a couple of my roommates realised that the store Woolworths in Sydney sold hot food. Rotisserie chicken and breaded chicken and stuff like that. Thing is it’s bar code was stuck on and doesn’t have a weight value. So every now and then he’d get a few extra portions and bring us all food in the room. What he did t tell us is that he only paid for a fried every time, the 3 other fries and 5 portions of chicken were never scanned in self service and he’d just walk out having only spent around 3 dollars for about 30 dollars worth of food. This guy ended up robbing my wallet for 20 bucks however to buy weed so that friendship didnt last.

On a Crosswalk, when the light turns red for cars, there is a slight delay before a green light turns on to allow you to cross the street. The life hack is to walk when the light is red for cars, living the dangerous life by crossing the street before anyone else while the light is still red for you but red for vehicles as well.
I used to jump the curb and drive over grass to get into a parking lot at my university to park free. I felt bad about leaving tread marks on the grass, but I kept doing it for two years. Never got caught, but one day I saw they installed it boulders to prevent people from jumping the curb, so that was the end of that.

At a shopping mall I go to you need exact change in cash or a card to exit the parking lot. I never have exact change so I press the help button and tell them that. They let me right out every time.
A couple of years ago, me and my friends found out that if you paid for a app on your apple id, you would be able to log in on multiple devices and download the app on it. Then after you did that you could just log out, and log in to the account that did not pay for the app. So we ended up buying like one game each and sharing it with each other.

Surprised no one talked about getting free upgrades on concert tickets. I live in the Philippines, but most of the bands I see/hear about where this is applicable are known worldwide. Anyway, when a concert doesn't sell all its seats, organizers would have people from the back move closer up front so the show would look full in videos. You just have to come early and usually the cheapest tickets. For example, in a U2 concert, my aunt and uncle got their $40 tickets upgraded to $360 ones.
