It’s easy to get rattled with rumors and mis-information. Until my dealer and/or Honda Corp communicates, I don’t invest a whole of time worrying about it. There are no issues with my 22 DCT Tour Airbag. As has been the case with my two prior Wings. If a company has been around long enough they will invariably experience a Recall(s). These bikes designed today are better than ever before. But they are still mass produced and from time to time there might be a hiccup. But don’t throw the baby out with bath water ya’ll. Honda will get it right. Trust that. You take care of your motorcycle and it will take care of you. Welcome back Chris! Great seeing you out there. Video quality is pristine. Nice job. I bought an 18' GW Tour with 10k miles last Aug.. I put 5.5k miles in 4 months before it got put up for the winter. The Wing run flawlessly, I'm looking forward to putting many, many more miles it. I was in touch with the dealer I bought it from for an unrelated issue, while I was on with them, the service manager looked up my bike and said it was part of the fuel pump recall. The new fuel pumps will be available in April.

Failures happen and sometimes mistakes get made. We are all human, yet it seems whenever an issue comes up, Goldwingdocs posts a video suggesting an isolated failure for one person is a reason for all of us Wing owners to fear the worst. His DCT failure video is another example. I can't fully make it through any video he posts. If he had any credibility whatsoever, it would reflect in his view count. I'm surprised Cruiseman let himself get sucked into this too.
The Fuel Pump recall is for the 18-19 GL1800. I received an email from Honda. If you have one, you should have gotten an email. But I don't see that as a big deal. Sometimes there are recalls on parts, etc.
When I bought my Hayabusa, I read the same kind of thing about them. People are pretty hard on the net. Most commenters don’t even own the bike they comment on.. ha .
Chris what gloves are you using. I’ve tried many pairs of fingerless gloves only to send them back. I had a pair of Indian ones I liked and had them shoved in the dash. Well going through St. Louis one went flying and it was crazy traffic so.

Hey ya'll! I had a flashing ABS light on my 06 airbag Goldwing caused by interference from a just then installed hard wired Bluetooth aux cable adapter from Electrical Connection. Once I removed it, issue never came back, so be aware of issues like that. That bike was solid to say the least! After hitting a deer with the '06 airbag model (total loss)🥲, I now own a bought used '21 Goldwing 6spd. tour and after some intital clunky hard shifting/ getting it out of neutral issues, I had switched to Honda synthetic oil and all has been going well so far the last ~2K miles Also still on its original battery as far as I can tell.
I had some trouble a few months ago with my 23 DCT Tour. It won't start. Took it to the dealership. They kept it for a month. They couldn't figure out what was wrong. One morning it started? They don't know why. The dealership and Honda weren't up to the standards everyone claims about these Gold Wings. I'm going to just ride it and enjoy it.
He Chris i have the same problem, they change the abs sensor front weel and also the motor for the windshield. ( windshield just jam)2k for the job work😮

I had a 2005 Goldwing and I traded it for a 2019 Indian Roadmaster you write heats up on the right side I kept that bike for one year and I went back to the Gold Wing 2020 Goldwing only thing I don't like about the 2020 Goldwing is the seat and I wish you was the same size as my 2005 Goldwing

I bought a brand new 2018 standard tour. I now have 46000 miles on it. So far not one mechanical issue. It’s a great machine. So far so good.

I have an 08 it had a recall brake system got it fixed last summer good video
On the 2014 Goldwing I owned, I also had the rear brake recall. It seem to stop better before they ever changed the rear caliper!
@chriscaliente5033 hate to say mechanic's some ofthem don't do good work . For me it's like crossing your fingers.

Any custom seat is better than the stock Goldwing seat on the 2018+ Goldwing.
