This is one of 3 songs that I danced with my wife last Christmas night. She is ill .not sure how long she will be with me but making the best of it. Love you baby.
An individual that i once worked with...told me of a vauge idea of his experiences being on the battle field as a medic, and then as a paramedic on the hoepey fields in Arizona i believe it was. He was taking too much from a lonely boss who seemed to have problems facing the lack of control under his own roof, and was power tripping in a way...this co worker stood his ground and i witnessed this as a younger man (24, and 36 now), and the situation got heated and the co worker told our boss he's quitting right then and there! (believe he finished his shift, but quit very shortly after) I asked him why he would just leave and talk as he did, and his response still resinates with me, to this day. (Only paraphrasing) He told me, "i have seen men on their death beds (similar to a scence from saving private Ryan, is the way i imagined what he was saying...as Tom Hank's character, told one of the soilders to stop administrating any more Morphine) and many of their final words are regrets that they had...such as i should have asked a particular girl out, or i should have told my mom i loved her." After saying all of that...he told me that, he will not take anything from people, as it was a way to avoid having unneccesary regrets, that were avoidable. I personally do not know who you are feeling...as only one could imagine every other persons pain that they are individually facing. Hope my experience can help guide both of you and all those around her, to give that angel back to where she came from.

Half s century ago this song was released. My close friend bought Goats Head Soup and we'd sing this song together. Sadly, a few years later she passed unexpectedly. This song still resonates and brings me to tears.
My mom's favorite song. Nothing topped it. We sang it in the car, the house, everywhere we went. Although it had nothing to do with a mother/daughter relationship, it was our song. When CD's first came out I looked for Goats Head Soup for 11 years for my mom. It took that long for The Stones to release it. She never wanted anything from me for a gift. Girls... How many beautiful songs and poems have been written, and tears shed, for these soft, warm beings... Nothing in the world comes close to the feeling a guy gets, loving a beautiful girl...
***** been there myself, Anthony. There's nothing that makes it better. Time goes on and you learn how to adjust... I'm still adjusting from the only girl I ever asked to marry me in 1984, turning me down... So I know how you feel brother. And I went the whole drinking and drugs route... And that just made everything worse. In the end it's all about adjusting... and that's about all that can be done, unless someone else has a better way....
'Angie' is The Rolling Stones simmering ballad - a deeply moving track built on melancholy acoustics, haunting piano lines and most importantly, Mick Jagger's anguished, passionate vocal delivery.
No-one else could have brought this song to life like Sir Mick. A timeless classic. The Rolling Stones - Just perfect, nothing short of legendary. When these AWESOME guys leave this planet, there music will go on forever. They will NEVER ever be forgotten. EVER. We will never forget the immeasurable contributions these legends gave to the music world. Performance's nothing short of ELECTRIFYING, captivating audiences around the world again and again. Thanks guys for the music, unforgettable memories. Just AWESOME.💋 🔥❤🔥
I love this performance, it's got everything from great suits to roses, hair and makeup done, and the band themselves - totally lit. Each and everyone of them is on fire. The Rolling Stones are the total vibe that we all wish we could be.
My sister passed away nine years ago today. This song was played at her funeral. I think about her all the time and this song reminds me of her beautiful smile
I was 15 yrs old when this song came out. I thought it was so cool to have a song w my name in it. I love it when I tell people my name and ,to this day, many people will start singing this song.
I was 18 or 19 when this song came out. It was the fall of 1973 and I heard on the radio on commute to classes to a nearby junior college. In my search for original 45 rpm records. I found a pretty clean sounding original pressing of "Angie". The Stones did a number of slower tempo emotional songs. This was my personal favorites.
This is my favorite Stones song. Mick sings fom his heart in this song. It brings me back to 1973. I was 10 years old and my cousin was listening to this song in the car. To me....the Rolling Stone's will be the greatest Rock and Roll groups of all time. I love how they all wore makeup in this video. My biggest regret is not seeing them live in concert. Long live the UK 🇬🇧 for creating the best singers in the world.
This video you realize is faked.... right? Back then thru the first few years of MTV and VH1 it was not uncommon for artists to do a video for a song while they were NOT actually playing it live at the time. Just look at Keith's and Mick Taylor's (right) rhythm hand and what you can 'see' with your eyes that they're doing you don't 'hear' with your ears. And the true giveaway -- Charlie Watts has a smirk, an expression of boredom and general disinterest/dislike of the deal.
Me too. We all turn 50 this year! This song is so incredibly sad. I feel like it's the reason my dad gave himself permission to abandon me. He sang it to me when I was 3 and then I never saw him again.
YES! Back then Mick had an ever so slightly androgynous beauty that I wasn't aware of at the time. One of the great gifts of TH-cam is to be able to see them all again as they were. They were all gorgeous!
They had a reputation as a gritty rock and roll band but the Rolling Stones had some of the most beautiful songs of all time..Ruby Tuesday, As Tears Go By, Wild Horses, and of course.. Angie.
This song is my earliest memory of the The Stones. It came out just before I turned 8, and my older brother bought the album right away. I've been a huge Stones fan ever since!

Girls... How many beautiful songs and poems have been written, and tears shed, for these soft, warm beings... Nothing in the world comes close to the feeling a guy gets, loving a beautiful girl...
I loved a beautiful women once.
Jerry Kennedy he was spot on....
***** this song hits you where you live sometimes....
Paul Bourgeois
It has hit me. She dumped me.
Beautifully done by the greatest rock band in the world.
R.I.P. Charlie! We will missing you. Thank you for be an Rolling Stone and my alltime favorite drummer!
👍👍👍
Rest in peace Charlie. Thank you for everything.
Arguably the most beautiful song Mick has ever sung. 😊
Exactly....it's relatable to almost everything
I think it would be a toss up with Wild Horses.
His live vocals in this video is incredible!
Let it Loose comes to mind. This one a close second though.
Arguably....it is connection, Andy! sad Charlie!
Wonderful! Timeless song! Until 3024, 4024...this song's still one of the most beautiful song!
Beautiful song with meaningful lyrics. It's so difficult to say 'goodbye' to someone that you love, knowing that they love someone else 💔
This is one of those timeless classic rock ballads that hopefully, if you like it and play it around your kids ,they'll pass it down.
'Angie' is The Rolling Stones simmering ballad - a deeply moving track built on melancholy acoustics, haunting piano lines and most importantly, Mick Jagger's anguished, passionate vocal delivery.
The Seventies and Eighties were such great decades for music and Angie is one of the Best
Your correct.the stones.ilike the song
Sway.mick Taylor destroyed that guitar.he can play .him and Kieth didn't get along to well.
I wanted to see th.em in 1981.at JFK t stadium in my home town of Philly.

I love this performance, it's got everything from great suits to roses, hair and makeup done, and the band themselves - totally lit. Each and everyone of them is on fire. The Rolling Stones are the total vibe that we all wish we could be.
Me encantó tu respuesta , es así .👌
Would have liked to see the Piano player Ian Stewart since the Piano is the main instrument other than Mick's vocals
@The Burbles she was backstage covered in them just singing along ;)
Usually shirtless and sweating
slow rock but deep .
One of THE most beautiful songs of all time.

You're very lucky, it's such a beautiful song!
Hey, I made and animated video of Angie using A.I. Wanna check it out? th-cam.com/video/FcUjGP3498E/w-d-xo.html
I love that❤
I was 18 or 19 when this song came out. It was the fall of 1973 and I heard on the radio on commute to classes to a nearby junior college. In my search for original 45 rpm records. I found a pretty clean sounding original pressing of "Angie". The Stones did a number of slower tempo emotional songs. This was my personal favorites.
O rock sempre fez parte da minha vida.Amo!!!!❤
This is my favorite Stones song. Mick sings fom his heart in this song. It brings me back to 1973. I was 10 years old and my cousin was listening to this song in the car. To me....the Rolling Stone's will be the greatest Rock and Roll groups of all time. I love how they all wore makeup in this video. My biggest regret is not seeing them live in concert. Long live the UK 🇬🇧 for creating the best singers in the world.
Thank you, genuinely, for giving us a callout for one, no one ever does! 🇬🇧
Such a compelling voice he has
My husband of 37 years died four months a go he sang this to me on our 2nd date at whitby having fish & chips ,it feels like yesterday
I'm so sorry for your loss, may the love of Jesus fill your heart with love and peace so there is no room for pain and loneliness.

The Taylor years were absolutely magical. Some of the deepest sounding rock songs of all time.
Absolutely agree.

I heard Keith got rid of him
Keith couldn't hold his jockstap
Rip Charlie. 🖤 Understated elegance and one of the greatest drummers of all time. Say hi to Moon, Baker, and Bonham for us.
Best comment yet
And give Neil a shout out, too.
"Everywhere I look I see your eyes". One of the all-time great lyrics
I think that it is one of the most beautiful phrases ever put together.
This song never gets old.
you do.
Amazing acoustic guitars and piano combination. These guitars licks are unforgettable.
Happy 80 th b' day Mick ! Keep on rockin - Greatest rock n roll band of all time! End of story ! 7/26/43 😅😅🥃🚬👍

My mom named me after this song in 1973, she passed away in 2019 so it's pretty special to me..always will be. ❤
Hello, how are you doing? It is nice seeing you here.
@@mickjagger6465 Hi Mick. So nice to see you value your fans so much. . Great.
@@susanjones4980 Hello Susan, good day to you and it’s a pleasure to have you here.
Me too. We all turn 50 this year! This song is so incredibly sad. I feel like it's the reason my dad gave himself permission to abandon me. He sang it to me when I was 3 and then I never saw him again.
@Mick Jagger this song ruined my life!
Heartbreaking Beautiful
I love the Stones! They have always struck a chord in my heart that no other band can hit.
Very sweet and intense and unexpected ballad from a rage and electric band as The Stones have been. A true masterpiece
Okay that's weird because your name is Sylvia.

I'm so happy that my father introduced this song when I was young. What a beautiful song.
a very very beautiful song. Mick Jagger is absolutely amazing. What a voice, what a beauty ! and this song is very powerful. Truly awesome !
YES! Back then Mick had an ever so slightly androgynous beauty that I wasn't aware of at the time.
One of the great gifts of TH-cam is to be able to see them all again as they were. They were all gorgeous!
a masterpiece ballad!
Absolutely amazing song, will never get old
Jes of course😊😊👏👏🇷🇸🇷🇸
Such a beautiful song, after all these years... whenever I listen to it... it still so nice !
They had a reputation as a gritty rock and roll band but the Rolling Stones had some of the most beautiful songs of all time..Ruby Tuesday, As Tears Go By, Wild Horses, and of course.. Angie.
Fool To Cry..1976💔
ánd for me...the best one...."Gimme Shelter"...
This song is my earliest memory of the The Stones. It came out just before I turned 8, and my older brother bought the album right away. I've been a huge Stones fan ever since!
Absolutely love this song. ❤It brings me to tears. “Angie” will be my future daughter’s nickname.
Honestly one of the most beautiful songs.
