I commuted on a Luna apocalypse a few years back. It easily cruised at 35mph but the ride felt dangerous. Most drivers out there don't expect how fast you're going and would cut you off making a turn. Also you have to be real careful making emergency stops as too much front brake would throw you over the handlebar. The scooter form factor was nice to take on the train but I feel safer on a electric bike any day of the week.
Maybe not the guy on the video says it takes more the. 4 months to get he even said just forget bout it and one day it will show up like yea ok let me spend 7k like a bozo and just wait for it to show up lmfaoooo
Y’all should review Real Scooters scooter. It’d be on the list, faster than the emove with stats closer to the dualtron. Biggest issue I’ve with mine is the head light is a bit weak for my taste and it’s proven a bit fragile. But 30mph, 40 mile range, wide deck and it’s doing all I need.
E move cruiser seems very sensible if you can get up to 50 miles on 1 charge. I'd go with range and safety to be honest. And the price is pretty damn good also.
I have the Hiboy as my first scooter. The Emove is my next. It has a ton of features. 25mph is neighborhood traffic speed. Quite fast enough I'll take range over speed
scooters dont get the range they advertise on their website, always cut that figure in half. Also, if you want to maintain 25 mph, you need a 35 mph scooter and dual motors to handle inclines.
Man, I love your sense of humor. "Im not your "mother" to tell you what not to do", LMAO. "but just informing you to ride safely". I respect that brother! :D
@mixflip Hi, I just watched this video so it is a bit of a late response. But I think that the second scooter would be a decent choice for what you are looking for. I forgot the name of the scooter but in the beginning of the clip where they show the second scooter it shows it riding on grass and having pretty good suspension. There are other great off-road scooters and just to go around campus you just have to look for one. But out of these I think the second one is your best bet.
Samsun O.O I approve of your enthusiasm, but at that price point, I won’t opt for an electric scooter as such, but more for an actual motorcycle lol such as a Honda CB650R for $2000 more than the $6500 sticker price of that RION electric scooter lol, or a Yamaha FZ-07 which the MSRP is $6900. So you tell me the comfort level of the logic situation here pal!!
Wish I had these at 18 yrs old back in early 2000s to go in between my first job after high school. However, I had no money so I rode a single speed bicycle made for middle schoolers and lost 1lbs a week riding 6miles per day. Would be fun to have one of these now. Best if these are used in Cali or in suburbs.
I have done 500+km on my Currus NF, it is blast to drive and has better material and built than comparable Dualtron. Make sure to install the grip tape on the deck (missing on this video). Hydraulic brakes are powerful and easy to modulate. ALWAYS wear your helmet and pads!!

They are obviously very anti Kaabo. Or anti China. I don't know what's going on but I've checked their channel, and in the last 5 years, ever since they started their channel, they have not featured a single model from Kaabo. That says something to me. Something very strong. >

Much better review. This is the type of video I was looking for. Just watched a video entitled “Top 10 best electric scooters” and it pretty much felt like a long commercial about some of the electric scooters out there.... pretty Pathetic - it mentioned specs but that was it... Great review on this video though. Thanks for posting !!!
Curious, where this was filmed. I live in the Orlando area and this looks like it was filmed in my neighborhood, almost literally. But then the license plates at the end are clearly not in the United States. So the conclusion was probably filmed somewhere else.
FUNK BOOGIE yeah it pretty simple , just take your slow and short range scooter and ... throw it in the trash , Then go buy a fast and long range scooter . These “normal scooters” aren’t hiding anything from you , their performance is based on the manufacturer balancing the range , and top speed with the parts available at the lower price point .. sure you can mod a slow scooter to be fast , but it kills the range , or you can get more distance .. going suuuper slow .. you can’t have both . It’s simple economics. If you want both in an electric scooter you have to pay for it .. or get a gasoline scooter.
The video was great! In Japan, you can't easily ride an Electric scooters yet. The law is troublesome. I'm looking forward to the video! With love from Japan :)

I have the Emove Cruiser and top speed approaches 30 on flat ground with a 150+ lb rider. Not too shabby. But even at 52lbs (the scooter), it seems quite large. Micah - how does the acceleration of the E-TWOW GT compare to the Cruiser? That 26lb weight seems appealing - especially when trying to sneak it past the door man in my office building. @Whuts Uhp Yeah... Remembered going 70mph on my 250cc Super motard and that was quite a thrill! Guess my fault...Brought my wife up to 100mph+ quite a few times in the car.So she knows I have a speed addiction... ;-p
True about the mopeds...But considering a super scooter like these cause I want to bring it in my car...Then bring it out for use during my lunch break to go out to the restaurants/shops near my workplace & leave my car in the shade of the office parking complex&avoid the traffic jam. :-)
One of the problems with these scooters is the wheel size, they put you at greater risk because they are more likely to catch and sink or impact your control when hitting small bumps , protruding ground, holes , objects on the ground that is no issue with a larger tire. These small scooter tires will sink into Gravel and common landscaping rock with ease and send you to greet the earth with your face. Much attention should be given to the terrains you are driving on especially new.
Is there a way to hack the eMove to get 5 mph more? I probably would've jumped on it by now if could squeeze at least 30 mph out of it. I'd easily give up distance for that.
You must ride in an area where the roads and paths are well maintained: good neighborhoods in communities where taxes are maintained at the level needed for public services. Those areas are few and far between. In most cities, you would be well advised to ride in a German Tiger tank!
Micah, Love your reviews. I'm looking for a good commuter scooter, I have a 7mi commute to work and I'm considering the Turbowheel lightning and Mantis. Do you have a preference? Which one feels better at high speed? Which one has the smoothest ride? Also, just curious. Why are 40mph scooters allowed on city roads, but ebikes speeds are limited? Usually to 20-28mph?
Depends on state...in California your limited to 15 mph, need a helmet, and you need a driver license and can't use them on side walks. Laws are still catching up with newer tech

Can I ride them on a rainy day? Can I attach external headlamp and taillamps?
@james braselton I can't translate it into English.
anybody i need help who can suggest which is better scooter zero10x or mantis pro?
Is licence required?
Is there a way to hack the eMove to get 5 mph more? I probably would've jumped on it by now if could squeeze at least 30 mph out of it. I'd easily give up distance for that.
Seen plenty of reviews saying the eMove goes more than 30
You must ride in an area where the roads and paths are well maintained: good neighborhoods in communities where taxes are maintained at the level needed for public services. Those areas are few and far between. In most cities, you would be well advised to ride in a German Tiger tank!
Goedelite Kurt facts. I ate shit hard on a pothole last week and was only going about 10mph
Are they water proof?
My electric scooter goes 15mph/ 25kmh.. :/ how do I increase the speed limit?
Very nice video! Cheers from Costa Rica
I built my own and have touched 86mph on my custom build. Totally exhilarating!
