    For $260 that is a marvellous vehicle. Stylish, reliable, easy to park and load onto your car, fun to ride and maintenance free (zero gas-cost worries, no oil changing, no parking meter tensions, etc) So much fun.

    Sounds like the perfect ebike for someone in a big city that could take it on a subway, bus, etc and use it to go that last mile. Even if you parked a bit further out and used it to go a mile at 12mph that's a lot better than walking!

    Reliable, light weight enough to carry up a flight of stairs, yet powerful enough for bigger riders and no more than $500 - $600. Whoever can do this will become wealthy beyond belief. Great channel. I prefer yours over EBR because he usually goes for $2,000 ebikes. With that kind of money, I would get a used motorcycle.

    I’d LOVE something like that. Remember, not everyone lives in cities. For me, based on what you’ve estimated for mileage, in my town, it could easily get me to work and back all week and maybe a trip into the town centre too before a recharge. I think for people like myself who live in smaller places, it would be great.

      Good point. I bought a cheaper scooter for my commutes. Only gets 12 miles with optimal conditions. Not many people are fans of it. But my application it works great. My jobs an my home are all 2.2 miles from each other. Works great for ME and MY NEEDs. Prob not best for others who need to travel far

    20 years ago I had a Chinese bicycle, 3 speed. It was well made. It also had a decal in Chinese and in English which said " Bicycle Is My Good Friend". 🐼😸

    Most e-bikes and e-scooters from China come pre set in a beginner/ insurance friendly power limitation. Most can be taken out of this mode by using a combination involving the power button. Might be the case with this one, give it a Google and see you can get it some more juice lol

      and seems to work by itself, you don't need to pedal at all for it to assist you, so you don't get tired.
      Another very good advantage over electric scooter is you can put your legs on the ground if you get unbalanced. On a e-scooter you have greater chance of falling, especially at low speed.

    When I lived in Shenzhen about a decade ago, I used a similar ebike. It was perfect for my daily commute, and it fit in the elevator as you mentioned. It was perfect. Too bad they don't sell them stateside for a reasonable price.

      You can get bikes like this from Dyu, Dohiker, Jetson, Fiido or other rebrands of the above. Maybe for ~50-100USD more than in Shenzhen. I've got a Dyu rebrand (Jetson) and love zipping around the city with it. I think I got it for 270 bucks refurbed.

      I recommend a Jetson Bolt Pro $299 Costco. Love mine! Fantastic deal and had I known then what I know now I'd have bought another one as well. Unfortunately they seem sold out already at least at the moment.

    Just bought Himo v1 plus model and i`ll have to say it is pretty sturdy for it`s price. I am 175cm long and it is not too small for me. It has 14" wheels and bigger battery when comparing to non plus model. It costed 399 euros for me and i`ll have to say that money well spent! It`s still winter here in finland but highly anticipating dry, sunny weather.

    For "car dingy" usage, Do the seat and handlebar quick releases work fine to fold up quick?

      I've owned one. The handle bar quick release is easy to put into the riding position but VERY hard to fold down.

    That rear fender being askew really bugged me LOL. Yeah, I know it's a 15 second fix. That's why it bugged me. :-)
    Looks like a cool little bike for smaller people who would take it on a train etc. Not so much for 6'2"/188cm 210lb/95kg me.

      It got smushed in shipping and so the plastic is permanently bent to the side. I tried clamping it straight and it just goes off to the side. I need to heat it and push it back.

    I'm 6'1" tall, ride an (E)Haibike annually 4000 miles yearly. I'm also 225 lbs. I also own a Giant fold up non-electric 😭😫. The Giant is quite accommodating considering, great for crowded area's places.

    For less than 300 bucks, that's really good. I couldn't even find a good solid drive train for an e-bike at that price, much less the whole thing.

    It's a bicycle why didn't you test speed and range while pedaling along?
    I would guess you can go a lot faster while pedaling since I usualy go above as fast without an electirc motor

    When you dont pedal 12 miles are decent range. When using the motor just as support, the range should increase signicantly

    The charger is wonderful.But when that lubricated chain gets just a little use. You'll need a glove to avoid black fingers. It looks about the same size as the little yellow folding bike you did a video on. Except just a bit more comfortable faster, capable, cheaper and durable.

    I own the Plus (bigger battery, wheels, and breaks at each wheels) and it is really better! Used it as a serious commuter for one year, the problem is that the components are very hard to replace..

    note sure if anyone asked in the extensive comments already - would the range be longer if you pedalled or only used the electric motor for uphill sections? In Australia, we can only legally ride electrically assisted bikes on public roads, which means you have to pedal to get some degree of electrical assistance

    I think for $361 it's a nice little bike to commute in towns with, I think more people need to switch to bikes of any type, especially those in city's.

      @@lxh22 Sorry for being picky but this legal aspect is actually very important (you could be in very deep shit in case of an accident!) and completely ignored in this video.
      it's not because it drives below the limit (25 km/h) that it's street legal! ;-) In most countries, (motor) vehicles have to be certified for the street and I assume it's also the case for Finland.- Since there is no official importer for this bike, no one has done the certification (my guess).

    If they brought that product over to the west, it could be a game changer. I'd take this anytime over a Walmart bike. Great price!
