Sold my APPL before it tanked, will buy at next major drop. I’d definitely need to make use of the $250k liquidity elsewhere. So what should I be looking at? Large cap or small cap stocks? Maybe crypto?

Compared to the whole value of my portfolio during the last three years, I have no debt and a very little amount of money in retirement accounts. To be completely honest, the information provided by invt-advisors can only be ignored but not neglected. Simply undertake research to choose a trustworthy one.
could you recommend some good advisers? don’t get me wrong, I already have an asset manager for my $5m portfolio, but he seems not to know much about crypto.
There are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Colleen Rose Mccaffery” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.

BTC can disregard techincals when in a bull, did that in 2020 when it crossed previous ATH... stayed there a few weeks and continued pumping like crazy to 60k. Also, there is one constant... when around 90 on monthly RSI, the end is near. And don't expect crazy price targets of 500k... expect around 100k at most and be happy if there's more after that. If you believe big boys and CEO's of big invesment firms saying targets like 1M this cycle.. you deserve to be their exit liquidity..It's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3B'tc to a decent 21B'tc in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Donna Mikalonis, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

Doomberg, the green chicken guy, suggested that there is direct link in btu's (energy measurement) between natural gas and oil. So if you want to see what the real price of oil should be, check natural gas price and scale accordingly. So if not for geopolitical complexity oil should be now priced at 50$ per barrel.
Doomberg over-homogenizes energy mediums with BTU commoditization. Put coal in your car… try to heat your home with wind… he completely ignores energy-consumption mediums and infrastructure. I get how thinking about all of energy in BTUs can be helpful in some respects, but there’s much more nuance to the energy market than that. Similarly, you can boil real estate down to sqft measurements… but that doesn’t come close to telling the full story; not all sqft are created equal.

Mr. Gromen is not a big fan of shale from other interviews I have seen. The price of oil will not be too high too long because shale is a relief valve. Liquidity will continue as countries like Brazil and Switzerland are already cutting and the CCB is doing its best to reflate there. US is also still accommodative. All of this world wide debt must be refi'd and so rates cannot go too high.

BTC grew up in the free money era. There is no data outside of that. BTC is QQQ on steroids: 4 times the volatility. Find something from the past comparable to this volatility, and see how it did.

BTC Small blocks require off-chain solutions that look to eventually be run by Banks with custodial wallets (accounts), those solution fees are not close to zero so are people being corralled into a new system that is actually the same as the old system or potentially worse ?
Bitcoin Cash 1 year chart looks like the 2014 to 2018 Bitcoin chart.
Priced at $630 a coin BCH has the same genesis block as BTC, same 21M total supply, same halvings and the same miners.
Bitcoin went from $600 a coin to $18,000 back in 2018.
Maybe holding a few BCH through the next halving cycles could deliver big returns.
If BCH follows BTC it could go from $600 to $70,000 a coin so maybe it's an 8 year retirement plan
It might not, but there is little risk in holding a few, just in case.
Call it insurance, with the added bonus of it being a fast, peer to peer electronic cash system and almost free to transact on-chain

Most western analysts display a poor understanding of geo politics including Alden. They are limited by their US centric view of the world. American aggression towards its geo political opponents is driving tensions to levels not seen since the Cuban Missile Crisis. The response of Russia and China to this aggression is a driver behind gold prices.
Don't forget that now there is a gold fix at the shanghai gold exchange so gold prices cannot be manipulated by the corrupt bullion banks in London and new York many of which have been fined for rigging the price.
Russia as chair of the BRICS this year is pushing for a gold backed trade currency for its members to use amongst themselves.
Plus China and Russia are buying huge amounts of gold as part of their de dollarisation strategy.
Meanwhile, the US is heading towards interest payments of over a trillion this year. Confidence in US debt is going to increasingly wane leaving the fed in a predicament if being forced to go back to monetising US government debt which will be inflationary.
