      Destiny,
Check out Peter's interview with Mrs. Dansky. When he tells you her story, he says the woman followed her in the restroom and that's why she gave the 9 out of 10 for women being in danger. However, if you go to 27 minutes in to the interview with Kara Dansky, you find out she went in to the bathroom after the woman went in there. Kara Danksy basically followed that woman in to the bathroom and saw her in there and freaked out.

I'm posting two parts because TH-cam really doesn't like long comments (They often don't post):
Her story has that she was at a restaurant/bar where she knew the owner. The owner had three daughters who were there (Odd detail). She felt a male presence next to her (Because she says women can feel that). It was a guy (her words) with pink nail polish, blond hair, and tote bags (7 total). They ordered their drink and sat down at a table behind her. She then saw that they were gone after awhile and went to the restroom. She saw his pink toenail polish under the stale and freaked out. She went and told the owner who was also freaked out but he couldn't do anything.
Compare this to Peter's version where she is followed in to the restroom: *"She told me a story about this trans woman in other words a man who followed her into a bathroom"*
It seems Peter hears something and either lies or morphs it in to what he wants the story to be.

Debates worked when you had a mostly homogenous nation that shared the same foundational characteristics: christianity and being european.
Two disagreeing parties can debate before an audience of fellow countrymen who might disagree on whether or not the nation should have an official Church or have complete sepparation of Church and state.
However, no one in the past would argue that the State should be devoid of christianity.
If you have someone who wants a liberal atheistic society, then there's no debate to he had with christians because their positions are fundamentaly incompatible.
Should they press christians on it, there would and there should be a civil war.
Revolutionaties knew that which is why they went out of their way to subvert and weaken not just christianity but european identity itself, so then europeans would not resist being subjugated.
The conclusion we should draw from it is that debates are not be held between enemies, but between friends. With enemies, you wage war.

      Pretty much
Truth has to be the center of a good debate. That becomes the issue if you believe as these two do that there are literally nothing that can be accepted as truth. It’s the endless discussion to establish what terms mean to even begin the discussion.
And I get the pitfall of the logic I proposed but to assume nothing can be true unless you as an individual can prove it has no end and nothing is true

The paradox of tolerance is a legitimate idea though. You can abuse it with where you take it. But it's true. It's kind of like that one quote about any community pretending to be regarded just becomes a community where regards will think they've found their home.
Rape for example or racism are examples of ideas that have been socially cancelled because they violate the paradox of tolerance and would corrode the social fabric such that intolerant, transgressive energy ends up targeting women or minorities.
The paradox of tolerance is a legitimate consideration. But, as with all things needs to balance against other considerations.

    • @ataraxia7439

I'm a Conservative, not some Far Right religious wacko, just a normal guy that values free speech, free markets, reward for effort/merit, minimal government etc. Being Australian I also value traditionally Left leaning policies like taxpayer funded healthcare and education both for moral reasons and also an educated and healthy population are more valuable to the country, pay more tax and pay for those things in time anyway. I've always been tolerant of other people like most Aussies are, I honestly couldn't care less what you do with your body as long as it doesn't interfere with my life or work. Live and Let Live is my simple live motto. Personally, I don't like the word tolerant, that makes it sound like I have to constantly be vigilant or something, no, I just literally don't care so it takes no effort. When it comes to Trans people as far as I'm concerned if a workplace has a uniform or expected kind of dress, everyone must follow the rules, zero exceptions. Don't like it, quit. Right now, I'm sick of talking about these things. I have better things to spend my valuable time on.
People on the Left think they're right about everything. I believe a society thrives when people can talk. If people are at polar opposites of a conversation, no consensus can ever be reached.

The truth is worth caring about because it's the most long term way to have a shared reality which is important for social cohesion and decision making.
Reality is the truth. The truth is recurrent. Want a long term shared reality, share the truth. It's just that the truth isn't the only idea about reality we can share, it's just the only one that doesn't fall appart under long term scrutiny.
