@clareparks5157 Yeah, man, not to mention being instantly transported to 7th grade! I wore these three songs out year FGTH and Depeche Mode! Great year!
@@Bassman1969 I do know he was the original bassist for FGTH from 82. You could try Googling him: English bassist Mark O’Toole, he was born the same year as my husband 64.
I love the way all those other groups were talking smack about FGTH. The LOL petshop boys said it's just sad before the concert. Then they are asked to close the show!
@@SleepSoundsAndBabyLullabies he did for a very short time but the other members had prior entanglements and for a while certain members, at different times, performed with the Trevor Horn band. Everyone wanted to go on, but fate had other plans... then Ryan became the favorite, longest running, most awarded Frankie Valli in the West End production of Jersey Boys. They've never said outright but by piecing together over 50 interviews from both the real FV and Ryan.... ONE of the reasons FV doesn't care for the movie is the choice of lead actors , that he preferred Ryan but Clint Eastwood, the director, f-ed it up. As I said, FV never said it outright, but if you watch as many interviews as I have in the past 5 years, it's pretty evident Ryan was FV choice for not only the movie, but more of the album although Ryan does sing Beggin' on the album
Ryan's voice is closer to Holly's live voice I guess. You might also want to check out the casting video here on YT when Paul Rutherford et al were looking for a new front man because Holly Johnson couldn't be persuaded to perform at this event. Just search for 'Casting 2004, Frankie goes to Hollywood' 😉
As far as I remember, there was a fuss between Holly and Ryan. The previous front man (Holly) couldn't get on with the new one (Ryan). Anyhow, here we see a tremendous stage success of the whole lot of the band. Playing nonstop this particular music piece is a long sweaty job for the substructure (drums, guitars- especially base guitar, percussions and so). But they did so well, it was a very very good live performance. I wish those times could come back and the world be happy again😊

I come back to this when i need an energy boost. Dynamic, energising, uplifting, doesnt get better than this.

Ryan Molloy ABSOLUTELY ROCKED IT🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Siiii
Still one of the BEST LIVE performances of these songs .
Couldn’t agree more. Ryan Molloy’s vocal is brilliant. Don’t think Holly ever sounded like that live.
Mark O’Toole’s bass performance is amazing.
Totally agree Ryan Molloy was just fantastic 🎉🎉
@@peterlip8 my sentiments exactly
Second that, freakin' awesome
BEST VERSION EVER!!.. Ryan's higher pitch, combined with the lower pitch of the original band members, I MEAN, WOW = SUBLIME set...
The bass sound is a Marvel!
THE bassline of the 80's. Mark O'Toole is a monster! 🎸Ryan Molloy hot 🔥🔥🔥
The bassman is the sound of this song!😊
That’s Mark O’Toole.
@@UnderTheMilkyWay-mc8md Oh Yes. I did not find much about him in the internet exept these projects.

Wow, Mr. Steve Howe! 👏👏👏
This should be titled FGTH ft. RYAN MOLLOY! 🎙️🎤💯🔥 Steve Howe (90) was seen for 5 seconds on his steel guitar 🙄
1. The bass makes this
2. Is that Curt Smith from Tears for Fears out front?
3. Ryan is The Bomb
❤❤❤❤❤
The alomost bald, tall guy? That's Paul Rutherford, one of FGTH's founders so to say.

Singing' Relax ' to a charity event is the biggest lack of awareness of the given situation!
A S/M song at a charity event? Gees louise! 😶
Who cares? The performance kicked ass.
