Over 3 decades ago, Toyota was looking to land a punch in the world of luxury cars that at the time, was dominated by those from Europe and the US. Their solution was #Lexus, a fleet of cars that aimed to provide top quality luxury and presence, with the bulletproof reliability of Toyota engineering. The first of their heavyweights to hit the ground was the #LexusLS, with an aim to take on the likes of the Mercedes S-Class and BMW 7-Series. Now in its 5th Generation, the #LS500 is far more sculpted and more powerful than ever. But can this new twin turbocharged 400+hp ultra luxury limo still hold a candle to the Europeans? Watch the review to find out!

The LS500 is absolutely the most elegant and luxurious large sedan that has it all: luxury, quality, ride, comfort, attention to detail, value. For $100K, Lexus LS is the winner hand down making the Sedan Model S feels like cheap ride.

This guy’s review was so good 😊. He was 100% professional and concise and informative. He was extremely worth my 30 mins and I loved his attention to detail. All in All an excellent experience with this reviewer. Now I am glad I bought this car! I have the Inspiration Series and it will be delivered 1/6/2022! Woohoo!

No doubt the best luxury sedan for under $100,000. Also owned every LS since it's introduction. And guess what? They are all still running today. Amazing.

I own 2019 LS 500 and I absolutely love it BUT! Two small tiny issues or complaints I have are 1. the RFTs. Since the battery is located inside beneath the trunk where a spare tire is stored, it runs on run flat tires so the ride isn't as smooth or comfortable as its previous models that ran on regular tires. 2. The touchpad to control the infotainment system...Hopefully Lexus will change that to a dial/knob style control because after going thru few menus such as turn on the AC or change the media or to turn on the massage functions using the touchpad, my fingers cramp! Other than those two small complaints, I love my LS 500!

Love your review, thank you! I got a 19 very much like this last spring and am very much in heaven behind the wheel! Sold my 17 LS460L, last year of the 8s and my 500 is much faster. Keep up the great work! Bob in Vero

No one ever shows how that air suspension button on this model works, I want to see how much you can lift it and lower it

@Iowan, excellent choice sir! I have the ‘20 LS F Sport in Rwd, atomic silver, and it’s an exceptional vehicle. Long, lean and lethal, it will move out and draw fire when summoned👍🏻👍🏻

That was a great and very comprehensive review.
I like the detail you go into describing each of the features and you name each feature correctly (not as easy as it sounds because all manufacturers have their own name for a particular feature, especially safety features).

I feel sad that you said that basically one should buy a car like this only to show off and taunt other people! That’s not how one should be thinking in the first place. I wanna get this car because I like it and for myself not wanting to show off because why should I do that. Life should not be about how others see you. That’s sad and disgusting. But I love LS and always have and wanna get it next year.

I was adding these comments in for a bit of humor :)
I try to be a bit more silly now, instead of some boring monotone journalist. I know that's not what this car is all about. I was moreso playing on the stereotypes that people give these cars, but if I had one, it's not to show off, its simply because its a big comfy car with a potent engine and all the luxury you could want.

A8 is better car but lexus more reliable. If money not a problem and i only plan to keep the car for 1 or two years, get a8. If you want a car to last, get the lexus.

I'm not even considering a Lexus until they get rid of that stupid remote mouse infotainment interface. Not that it's unique to them, but I really can't stand it.

Keep driving mediocre money hog vehicles. Remember BMW and the infamous iDrive🤔? That was decision point to buy a 7 series for an engineering marvel like myself. In fact, that was the only thing that didn’t cost me extra money to keep the vehicle running.
