I stumbled upon your work quite by accident, but as they say: “When the student is ready, the master shall appear.” In my opinion, your videos are perfect the way they are. I appreciate your candor, your humor, and most of all your passion for sleight of hand magic and your enthusiasm for sharing your incredible knowledge. Thank you so much for what you do.
Man , I subscribed to this channel because you give a VERY CLEAR AND CLEVER LONG TUTORIALS , you do care about how we should learn sleight of hand and I appreciate that... Thank you, you are awesome and so funny!!!!!!!!! PERFECT
don't shorten your videos.. because the main part ist not the technique of the sleight but the deceptive art and your thoughts on being a deceptive artist for life. because I think the the more natural a deception looks, the more it gets invisible. If I want the participant to think that nothing is happening, it has to look like nothing is happening. So the perfect deception looks 100% natural and if you want your deceptions to look like they are 100% natural, you have to be a deceptive artist 100% and that's why I love your tutorials, because you are the only one who talks about it as an artform and it sure is. because it is so much more than the technique. it is such a powerful tool and a beautiful way to connect to other people. you can change other people's lives with magic, if you present it the right way und and if you tell a story with magic in which they can believe. And we have to be thankful that there are still people outside, even today, which listen to a guy playing with poker cards and than question their reality to experience a beautiful moment together. And I even think that magic is more powerful then it ever was, because today, in times of Facebook, whatsapp and Instagram, everybody knows everything about everybody else and that's why the people are so happy and thankful for every magic moment we magicians share with them.
Omg I can't even begin to tell you how much fun I'm having with this one. I've got several different handlings and variations already, for different scenarios. Plus many different presentations for the reveal. I absolutely love it. It's beautiful and elegant.
Keep doing what your doing, its gotten you this far. The people that want shorter videos dont care to ever perform the trick, they want a 5 min video to see how it done and move on. You have some of the best tutorial on TH-cam. People that want to learn, want as much info as possible
I really appreciate how passionate you are about your craft and your videos and it shows because your videos are longer than other tutorials. It shows that you actually care. And that your knowledgeable about the craft instead of just showing a move and peacing out.
Daniel Madison,.... I just wanna say THANK YOU. I'm from Pakistan and there are no books available here that teaches sleight of hand. For you to teach that jaw dropping sleights, I'm truly thankful.
I really appreciate you sharing your thought processes on the origin of the effect. Your original thought and intent and then how it progressed to it’s current state.
Oh man, this last month was amazing. The things you thought are so beautifully challenging that when I start practicing I get lost in it. When you teach sleight of hand, when I see a notification that says Daniel Madison just posted a video, I get so excited. When I had a shitty day I just come here. I forget what happened and just...feel free. I'm really happy you're doing youtube full time now to be honest, congratulations. By the way, I don't think the videos are long. I'm glad that you're explaining every little subtlety...when you're done explaining I don't have any questions about the mechanics of the move. So FANX! Take care man...Mad love✌🏽
Yeah, I love that your videos are longer. You get into EVERYTHING, including the psychology of the trick, which I very much appreciate! You and Charlie do what you do!! x
Daniel Madison don't think your videos are boring and dragged out. People look so hard for videos that go into such depth in card sleights like you do. Keep on posting videos longer than 7 minutes. It allows people to learn and you to teach them everything they need to know.
This is one of youtubes most precious gems, for sure. I bought one of your decks, and I do have the duplicates you mentioned. Thank you, Daniel and Charlie. Also Susan.
I love the in-depth explanation, you get to appreciate every aspect of the trick. Instead of just knowing how it's done, you get to know how it is supposed to be performed.
Cheers Daniel.I follow you for about 14 years now .Master in misdirection and even flashing the card in front of audience with complete confidence. Can we see some recents performance in front of audience.Street and table. What kind of sleights do you prefer(card to pocket, transpos, index, bottom deal, palm based tricks). You teach realitve simple slights but the performance needs to be powerfull, so a general bodylanguage and behavior video by you can open many peoples eyes about the art itself.
Been here since you first started Daniel Madison. I’ve been a fan since your theory 11 days. Anywho. Your videos aren’t too long. They’re perfect 👌! And btw, FANKS for this and all your teaching. Your brain is like The Expert at The Card Table, Expert Card Technique, and The Royal Road to Card Magic all rolled into one set of hands that are exquisite with the art of sleights. Keep it up. You too Charlie!
Insane as always Daniel! The quality and attention to detail in your videos and work is absolutely unmatched. I have no idea who in their right mind would want shorter videos from you. If you have more you are wanting to share on a topic then I for one am all ears. The subtleties, ideas, and advice you offer is priceless.
The introduction to this transposition blew me away. I had no clue what was going on. Totally agree with you on overproving. It's been done on TH-cam by other magicians and it just invites the mind to say.. there's something fishy going on. There's an art to going at a proper speed. Too fast invites those that are trying to decipher what went on. I've got more with to do. Thanks for this one!
This is when Daniel was absolutely brilliant. I'm not just on about the lessons, which everyone must concede are exceptional. No, I'm talking about Susan Sausage, and, if I'm honest, my personal favourite, the Dancing Walking Stick Man. A touch of genius. I commented on his most recent video about how all he does now is overhype his products. I stand by that. I'm not after free lessons, hell, I've paid for quite a few Madison products in my time, and they all are excellent. It's the constant product pushing these days that gets me down. I wish he'd return to his golden era. Maybe I'm just old.
Yeeeeessss! Love it bro, love it. All the changes you've made, even the most subtle ones, definitely are making each video that much better. Thanks for sharing with us. So proud to call you a friend.
If you really want to learn properly something as complicated as the genius sleight-of-hand moves you have came up with, you will have the time for it! Your videos are not too long! I personally love the time and effort you put in your vids! 🙏🏼 Thank you Daniel Madison! K♦️
The lenght of your videos have always been perfect. It's an art and its learning shouldn't be rushed or condensed, I believe it should cover every detail NECESSARY All you do is necessary. Cheers!
The videos aren't too long. I appreciate all of your comments, tips, addendums and Charlie saying iiiii. Make 1h long videos if you want, I'm sure the smart folks here are gonna squeeze every drop of knowledge shared. Thanks for doing this for free.
I like the length of the videos man your stuff is KILLER. Best tricks on TH-cam and you are an amazing teacher! Never thought I could pull off some of the deceptions that I’ve been able to learn through your channel! Thank you so much n keep it comin!!!!
I like your presentation style, I like how the theory of illusion combines with practice and the 25 minutes of video are good. Everything on your channel is good and done with dedication, script, scenery, editing and obvious your brutal technique. We learn a lot from your theory just as Ramsay does, spads, pandrea. You are the best.
Daniel man I've been following you for a long time and its a true pleasure, keep on doing the good work, your donation to the magic world is huge and I wish you the best!!
I know it's wise to listen to your subs, but... This is how you do stuff, you take your time, but some of us enjoy every single minute, if you can make short videos as good as you do them right now... You're indeed talented Sr. Love your vids and what you do! Good day ❤️
I definitely appreciate this channel and your magic. The clarity of ur instructions and the teaching of different approaches to the trick are absolutely amazing to learn off of and to make our own.
This video is absolute genius. I love that you teach a few different variations giving each artist options that work for them. I look each day for your channels notifications and watch every video and learn so much each time. I say keep them long as magic theory is just as important as the technique IMHO. Love this move!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful deception with us Daniel, for free no less. Original, unique, and so impossible looking to the uninitiated eye. Thank you thank you thank you
Have you tried to do the second switch face up? When pointing to the card on the table if you tell them to turn it over that's more than enough to tenkai the one in your hand without even tilting it to hide its face. That also allows you to have the card change its back since you never show it, so first they switch places and then one of them changes colour. Bold thing to do but I can perfectly see if working, the moment you tell them to turn over the card on the table is perfect misdirection.
👏👏👏 this video made me a big fan my dude. Watching from the hospital & i think i really focused on what you were saying for the first time the way i should have. I am new back into magic & this entire video speaks to me & my performances for spectators. Thank you for articulating much better than i could in a conversation only two weeks ago about why i always keep a double with me. 🙏
I really love you philosophy and just the thoughts behind your effects. The part about magicians overproving is so true and your thoughts on that about how there’s no need to show the ace again because you are already showing the nine so it has to be the ace. Really love your work dude 🔥
I love your videos man, I appreciate how thorough your explanations and tutorials are. Every time I watch one of your vids I feel so much more knowledgeable
Hello Mr. Madison im a magician all the way from Trinidad and Tobago...Wish I could of said this in a voice note but ..Your Sleight of hand teaching is amazing..keep up the tutorials..Ive learned so many things from watching your performances and your in my top 3. Nuff love n respect man
this is probably the best transposition I've ever seen. Even when you SAID you were tenkai palming it and I knew it was coming I missed it. Dead simple routine and techniques... and such a powerful switch.
I enjoy performing this biggest thing I noticed is to bring more attention to the card on the table when lapping the double. Get their framing on the table so the know the card is still in your other hand but it’s seemingly fair. It’s like when you ask a question like are you right handed or left handed because it makes them think for a second and you can get your dirty work done. Overall love this and look forward to doing it more!
SWEET! Simply a flawless slight that packs a punch for the participant. If this is what your teaching now, dam I'm sticking around to see what the future holds. 😎 Great work DM, great work!
For me your videos are good to be longer. The way you teach your magic is very informative and I can see your enthusiasm on sharing magic more to the new generation. More power Daniel
Keep the great work up .. the coolest thing about your videos is the details about every sleight in the trick .. it's really help me to improve my sleight of hand .. Fanx alot man 😀🙌👑
I have to admit I got the wrong impression of you. You are an excellent card handler and so passionate about this art. Thanks for these videos. I haven’t watched the tutorial yet but man this fooled me.
Your tutorials are perfectly explained unlike other tutorials on youtube. On 50K,I am hoping not only tutorials but also street perfomance videos as that will enhance our understanding on the sleights you teach.
Awesome tutorial, I really don’t mind the video length man. I think it is more of a problem for the instant gratification folks out there. This has so many small subtleties so getting to catch as many of them as possible is just great! Expecting anything else would be like telling Eugene Berger to get on with it in one of his lectures :) This is the type of content that I came for when I subbed to Chris Ramsay, so happy that someone took over the torch in such an awesome way and took it to the next level. Would be excited to learn more about your takes on psychology, performance routine etc too! Excited to see the next one! Cheers!
Man you killed it with this video, great tutorial. Good to see someone teaching great techniques properly. I will be perfecting this one! Keep up the great work!
Man!!! The Tenkai Palm Part Was Beautifully Deceptive !!! You Are A Gem In Card Magic !!! Thanks For Sharing Quality Knowledge With Quality Teaching . You Are Awesome Thanks For This .
Your video aren't too long. They are long enough for me to start relaxing while listening. I don't want a learn this trick quickly kind of video their is already a ton of those. I've been doing magic off and on for 10 years this is the first video I've seen of yours and I immediately subscribed.......this dude smoother than peanut butter
I dont think your videos are too long, just remember that you dont have to say things twice, people can always rewind back to that first time if they dont get something ! doing great man! you deserve the 50K !
No more floppy sausages, I'm a TH-camr now! x
nice trick love it
i think im able to make it
Woot!
U rock 🔥🔥🔥
Finally, I’ve been waiting all day for this! Fanx
How about 50% off all Mad Merch for hitting 50K subs?
GAH!!
Chris ramsay I love u man

Dear Daniel Madison, as always you doing poetry with the cards, thank you for sharing your knowledge.

I know this is 8 months old, but this is one of the few channels I actually like having longer videos. Keep up the fantastic production.
I dont think having videos this long is a problem. This man is the most informative, and most passionate sleight of hand teacher i know.
Yeah, I love that your videos are longer. You get into EVERYTHING, including the psychology of the trick, which I very much appreciate! You and Charlie do what you do!! x
don't care about those who say your videos are long
the best part about your videos (in my opinion) is that it's detailed and meticulous

This is honestly the best youtube channel for magicians ever.
I been subbed for a little over 2 years and this past month has been the most entertaining and fun videos you put out! And most informative.
Its so satisfying to watch your videos. Longer the better.
I love the in-depth explanation, you get to appreciate every aspect of the trick. Instead of just knowing how it's done, you get to know how it is supposed to be performed.

That is a beautiful switch. You can perform it slowly and it’s still very deceptive. You are a MAD genius!
Every minute of your videos are well spent. You can't get this level of detail with tutorials, thank you so much for the content!!

Love your teaching style DM! If your really interested in card magic, the video length doesn't matter. Keep up the great work!
Your videos are perfectly fine. It defines who you are. Don’t change plz.

Beautiful! Absolutely gorgeous.
Thanks Daniel!! Ilove long video, don't rush and squeeze.. just be what you think right for us
I have to admit I got the wrong impression of you. You are an excellent card handler and so passionate about this art. Thanks for these videos. I haven’t watched the tutorial yet but man this fooled me.
just wow, it looks so clean
Brilliant slights combined
The idea and execution without using the rest of the deck give it just that much more deception
Thanks 👍👍👍👍
Your tutorials are perfectly explained unlike other tutorials on youtube. On 50K,I am hoping not only tutorials but also street perfomance videos as that will enhance our understanding on the sleights you teach.
I am so happy I have been here waiting for this grow I new I would see
Awesome tutorial, I really don’t mind the video length man. I think it is more of a problem for the instant gratification folks out there. This has so many small subtleties so getting to catch as many of them as possible is just great! Expecting anything else would be like telling Eugene Berger to get on with it in one of his lectures :)
This is the type of content that I came for when I subbed to Chris Ramsay, so happy that someone took over the torch in such an awesome way and took it to the next level. Would be excited to learn more about your takes on psychology, performance routine etc too!
Excited to see the next one! Cheers!

You do fantastic work Daniel. Amazing tutorials. About the length I love it.
This is visually incredible, and seemingly very impossible. Well done, sir.
Your video aren't too long. They are long enough for me to start relaxing while listening. I don't want a learn this trick quickly kind of video their is already a ton of those. I like the editing skills the presentation, the humoristic touch. I really like your video. I actually whatched you once with my wife instead of Netflix because of the esthetic alone. It's almost as much a performance as a tutorial but without the frustration of not knowing the trick but an elegant explanation of the art.
First 20 seconds literally mind-fu***d me.....I had to check the title again to see if you're ACTUALLY gonna give it away or not. AMAZING stuff man. Keep'em coming.
I've been doing magic off and on for 10 years this is the first video I've seen of yours and I immediately subscribed.......this dude smoother than peanut butter
