One thing I noticed I was doing wrong was I was throwing the cards too flat instead of angled into the spread. I was throwing them more like this _ when it should've been angles like this \
@@Coherently I was trying different angles too. What seemed to help was spreading the cards on a table as opposed to a close up pad. Obviously it can be done on a pad since Daniel does it but it may take some practice. Thanks for the input. This is probably one of those knacky moves that seem impossible at first but very simple once i get it down.

The effect was that you dropped the deck and the deck would "cut" itself to the chosen card...and if you did it right, it would even bounce out of the deck. I love the way you don't have a hard time mangling decks for an effect. Can you recommend a good deck that can be mangled a bit and still be usable for a while? FANX!

I cannot do that move, it seems too much angle sensitive, only from the left is covered, I really don't know if this move can find an application in real world situations.
